Description

Headphone
The present invention relates to headphones.
The headphone applies a lateral pressure to the user's head (ear) by the restoring force of the headband and is held at a predetermined position by the lateral pressure. Since the lateral pressure is generated by the restoring force of the headband, for example, if the user's head is smaller than the headband, the lateral pressure becomes weak, causing sound leakage and slipping. On the other hand, if the user's head is larger than the headband, the lateral pressure becomes strong and the user's head is compressed, so that the user cannot withstand long-time use. In view of this, a technique has been proposed that improves the wearing feeling regardless of individual differences such as the user's head shape (see Patent Document 1).
The above technology can improve the feeling of wearing headphones regardless of individual differences, but the preferred sound quality is generally different for each user. Of course, if an equalizer or the like is used, the sound quality desired by the user can be obtained, but an external device other than the headphones is required. A configuration in which the equalizer or the like is incorporated in the headphones is also conceivable. However, in such a configuration, it is necessary to provide switches such as switches and volumes for obtaining a desired sound quality at positions where the user can operate. In addition, the above configuration has a large influence on the appearance of the headphones, and thus there is a problem that not only the fashionability is impaired but also the configuration is complicated.
The present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and one of its purposes is to provide a headphone capable of changing sound quality with a simple configuration without impairing fashionability. .
In order to achieve the above object, a headphone according to an aspect of the present invention includes an opening provided in a baffle surface of a housing, an ear pad that can rotate around a predetermined point on the baffle surface, and the ear pad in the ear pad. The first member provided on the contact surface in contact with the baffle surface, and the area of the contact surface that overlaps the opening portion is provided at a position where the area changes due to the rotation of the ear pad, and has a different air permeability than the first member. And a second member.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a diagram illustrating a headphone 1 according to an embodiment. As shown in this figure, the headphone 1 has a housing 5R and a headband 3 having a shape similar to a substantially cylindrical housing 5L. The housing 5L houses a headphone unit such as a left ear sounding body, and the housing 5R houses a headphone unit for the right ear. Note that the headphone units for the left ear and the right ear are not shown.
The headband 3 has a shape in which an arc is drawn in the longitudinal direction by using a metal and resin having elasticity. A housing 5L is attached to one end of the headband 3. A donut-shaped (annular) and flexible ear pad 10L is detachably provided on the inner surface of the arc in the housing 5L as described later. A mesh-like net 110L, which is an example of a first member, is attached to the ear pad 10L along the great circle of the ring.
A housing 5 </ b> R is attached to the other end of the headband 3. In the housing 5 </ b> R, an ear pad 10 </ b> R is detachably provided on the inner surface of the headband 3 with respect to the arc. The net 110R is similarly attached to the ear pad 10R.
The cord 18 is pulled out from the side surface of the housing 5L. The cord 18 is supplied with a stereo sound signal to be listened to from an external device. Note that the signal may be received wirelessly rather than via the code 18.
When wearing the headphones 1, the user covers the ear pad 10L on the left ear and the ear pad 10R on the right ear while expanding the arc of the headband 3 with the housings 5L and 5R. Due to the elasticity of the headband 3, a restoring force that tries to bring the ends of the headband 3 closer to each other is generated.
For this reason, the housing 5L (ear pad 10L) and the housing 5R (ear pad 10R) located at the end of the headband 3 apply a lateral pressure to the user's head when worn. The headphone 1 is held at a predetermined position by this side pressure.
FIG. 2 is a diagram showing the housing 5L with the ear pad 10L removed. As shown in this figure, the circular baffle surface 52L to which the ear pad 10L is attached in the housing 5L is located one step deeper from the end of the side surface of the housing 5L. The baffle surface 52L is provided with a base plate 54L having a circular shape smaller than the diameter of the baffle surface 52L and concentric with the outer shape of the baffle surface 52L. In the present embodiment, six holes 56L are provided in the base plate 54L. These holes 56L are connected to an air chamber in the housing 5L, that is, a space for storing the headphone unit. The base plate 54L is provided for convenience in explaining the arrangement of the holes 56L, and may be integral with the baffle surface 52L or may be flush with the baffle surface 52L.
Further, a groove 58L is provided on the outer peripheral edge of the baffle surface 52L, that is, on the inner peripheral edge of the cylindrical end portion of the housing 5L.
A member 102L that protrudes toward the housing 5L and fits into the groove 58L is provided on the side of the ear pad 10L where the housing 5L is attached.
The user can attach the ear pad 10L to the housing 5L by fitting the member 102L into the groove 58L. When the ear pad 10L is attached to the housing 5L, the net 110L is pressed against the base plate 54L. Further, the ear pad 10L can be rotated while being attached to the housing 5L.
The user can remove the ear pad 10L from the housing 5L by removing the member 102L from the groove 58L. Thus, the ear pad 10L is detachable from the housing 5L.
FIG. 3 is an explanatory diagram of the arrangement of the holes 56 </ b> L provided in the base plate 54.
As shown in this figure, the six holes 56L, which are an example of the opening portion, are arranged on a virtual circle 543 concentric with the center 541 of the base plate 54L, which is an example of a predetermined point. Specifically, the six holes 56L are divided into an upper three and a lower three in the drawing. Among these, the upper three holes 56 </ b> L are equally spaced from each other, and are arranged at an equal separation angle (for example, 30 degrees) when viewed from the center 541. The lower three holes 56L are point-symmetric with respect to the center 541 with respect to the upper three holes 56L.

FIG. 4 is a plan view of the net 110L. In FIG. 4, the broken lines indicate the base plate 54 and the six holes 56L when the ear pad 10L is attached to the housing 5L.
As shown in this figure, the net 110L is provided with two patches 112L as an example of the second member. One patch 112L is provided at a position covering the three holes 56L located on the upper side, and the other patch 112L is provided at a position covering the three holes 56L located on the lower side. The patch 112L is made by fixing a material (for example, urethane resin) having a different air permeability from the net 110L to the net 110L by sewing or using an adhesive.
When the patch 112L is made of a urethane material, the patch 112L is inferior in air permeability to the net 110L. The patch 112L may be made of the same material as the net 110L, and the opening density may be increased or decreased. In any case, the patch 112L may have any air permeability different from that of the net 110L.
Here, the air permeability refers to the degree of air passing per unit area. Specifically, when there is a pressure difference between the front and back of the net 110L or the patch 112L, the amount of air passing through the net 110L or the patch 112L. It is specified by the size of. For this reason, the air permeability of the patch 112L is different from the air permeability of the net 110L means that the amount of air passing through the patch 112L is different from the amount of air passing through the net 110L when compared in terms of unit area.
FIG. 5 is a plan view showing an example of the positional relationship between the patch 112L and the hole 56L when the ear pad 10L is rotated counterclockwise from the position shown in FIG. 4 with respect to the housing 5L.
In the example of this figure, of the upper three holes 56L, two holes 56L overlap with the patch 112L, and the remaining one hole 56L does not overlap with the patch 112L. Similarly, of the lower three holes 56L, two holes 56L overlap with the patch 112L, and the remaining one hole 56L does not overlap with the patch 112L. That is, in the example of the figure, a total of four holes 56L overlap with the patch 112L, and a total of two holes do not overlap with the patch 112L.
FIG. 6 is a diagram showing an example of the positional relationship between the patch 112L and the hole 56L when the ear pad 10L is further rotated counterclockwise from the position of FIG. 5 with respect to the housing 5L. In the example of this figure, all of the upper three holes 56L do not overlap with the patch 112L, and all of the lower three holes 56L do not overlap with the patch 112L. That is, in the example shown in the figure, all the six holes 56L do not overlap with the patch 112L.
In the headphone unit accommodated in the housing 5L, the sounding body is driven in accordance with the left channel signal of the stereo signal. Driving the sounding body vibrates the air in the housing 5L, and the vibration of the air reaches the left ear of the user covered with the ear pad 10L through the hole 56L as sound. Of the six holes 56L positioned between the sounding body and the left ear, if the number (or area) overlapping with the patch 112L varies due to the rotation of the ear pad 10L, the ease of passage of air oscillated by driving the sounding body ( Sound quality changes from the user's point of view. Specifically, when the number of holes 56L overlapping the patch 112L increases, it becomes difficult for air from the sounding body to pass through, and the volume feeling of the sound from the low range to the mid range, particularly the mid range, is reduced. Conversely, when the number of holes 56L overlapping the patch 112L is reduced, the air from the sounding body is easily passed, and the volume of sound from the low range to the mid range is increased.
For this reason, the user can change the quality of the sound output from the headphones 1 by rotating the ear pad 10L. That is, the user can set the output of the headphones 1 to a desired sound quality by rotating the ear pad 10L to a point where a desired sound quality is obtained.
In the headphones 1, the sound quality is changed by the rotation of the ear pad 10 </ b> L, so that the user can set the sound quality as desired while actually listening to music or the like without removing the headphones 1. Further, since the sound quality is changed by the rotation of the ear pad 10L, it is not necessary to incorporate an equalizer or the like in the headphones 1, no separate operation element or the like is required, and the appearance of the headphones 1 does not change. For this reason, according to the headphones 1, compared with a configuration in which an equalizer or the like is incorporated, fashionability is not impaired, and complication of the configuration can be avoided.
Here, the left ear for the headphone 1 has been described, but the same applies to the right ear housing. For this reason, in the headphones 1 according to the present embodiment, the sound quality can be changed independently on the left and right.
The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and various applications or modifications as described below are possible, for example. It should be noted that one or more arbitrarily selected from the application or modification modes described below can be appropriately combined.
In order for the user to confirm or reproduce the position of the ear pad 10L (10R) and the housing 5L (5R), an index or the like may be provided on the mounting portion of the ear pad 10L (10R) and the housing 5L (5R). In the above embodiment, for the left ear, when the ear pad 10L is rotated with respect to the housing 5L, the two pads 112L overlap all the six holes 56L (see FIG. 4). It fluctuates until it does not become a state (refer FIG. 6). Here, as shown in FIG. 7, when the user aligns the index 540 engraved on the ear pad 10L with the index 510 engraved on the side surface of the housing 5L, the two pads 112L are inserted into the six holes 56L. On the other hand, in the positional relationship shown in FIG. 4, the index 510 and the index 540 may be configured to show the characteristic that the sense of volume in the middle region decreases with respect to the reference. In FIG. 7, a broken line indicates a reference characteristic.
In FIG. 7, when the user aligns the index 560 with the index 510, the two pads 112 </ b> L are in the positional relationship of FIG. 6 with respect to the six holes 56 </ b> L, and the index 510 and the index 540 decrease. The characteristic that the volume of sound from the mid-range to the mid-range increases with respect to the reference will be shown.
In the embodiment, the number of the holes 56L is “6”, and the six holes 56L are arranged in a point-symmetrical position with respect to the center 541. However, the number of the holes 56L may be “1” or more. When there are a plurality of holes 56L, the plurality of holes 56L may be arranged asymmetrically with respect to the center 541. The shape of the hole 56L is not limited to a circle, and may be, for example, a rectangle, or may be a long hole having a shape extending long along the circumferential direction of the virtual circle 543 as shown in FIG.
As described above, in the present embodiment, the ear pad 10L is detachable from the housing 5L.
Therefore, the user may prepare a plurality of ear pads 10L made of different materials for the patch 112L, select a desired ear pad 10L according to the type, usage, and preference of the music to be listened to and attach it to the housing 5L.
In the embodiment, the net 110L is used as the first member, but a non-woven fabric may be used, for example. Further, in the embodiment, the patch 112L of the second member is configured to be inferior to the air permeability of the net 110L (110R) of the first member. However, for example, the air permeability is improved by increasing the aperture ratio of the net. Also good.
In the embodiment, the patch 112L is configured to cover the hole 56L. However, when the ear pad 10L rotates by overlapping with a part of the hole 56L, the area where the patch 112L and the hole 56L overlap changes. It ’s fine.
For example, the following configuration can be grasped from the above-described form.
