Abstract
The present invention consists of a multi-use portable lifting platform. It is made up of two structures with different flat geometric shapes, one on the floor and the other on an electronically-assisted telescopic hydraulic element. The system is actuated through an electrical sensor, for raising and lowering the platform. In order to maintain the stability, the intersection of four articulated bars is made, which are fastened on the end of each side of the platforms. A bellows-shaped fabric or flexible element covers and protects the lifting device, the stabilizing bars and the space between the upper platform and the lower platform from the outside.
Description
MULTI-USE PORTABLE LIFTING PLATFORM
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
The present invention can be included in the technical field of devices adapted to lift loads in a continuous manner with telescopic handles, and in particular it relates to a multi-use portable lifting platform comprising a hydraulic lift system, which facilitates the raising and lowering of the platform as needed.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The difference in height of persons requires the use of ladders or stools that are unsafe for reaching objects located at extreme heights. For this reason, a multi-use portable lifting platform is presented, which has the ability to be raised and lowered in order to enable the user to easily reach the installations or objects that are not within reach.
In patent US8336130B1 a toilet is described comprising a hydraulic lift system to allow if to be raised and lowered according to the needs of a user.
In the patent with publication number US5628075 a portable vertically adjustable lavatory assembly with a movable platform is described.
Patent US8966675B1 relates to a device to raise a toilet seat to the height desired to meet the needs of persons that require additional height.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a multi-use portable lifting platform, the purpose of which is to make it easier for users to access to the objects that are at different heights. The device has two platforms, a fixed lower one that serves as a support for the actuation elements and another upper movable one where the user is placed.
Both platforms are joined to each other by means of a telescopic hydraulic device and an assembly of four bars that are interlocked and connected in a diagonal shape, which give it stability and safety. The system is actuated through an electrical sensor for raising and lowering the platform.
A bellows-shaped fabric or flexible element covers the hydraulic device, the telescopic bars and the space between both platforms when the upper platform is in the unfolded arrangement.
The upper platform likewise has anti-slip elements, and elements for
controlling the movement.
DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
As a complement to the description provided herein, and for the purpose of helping to make the characteristics of the invention more readily understandable, in accordance with a preferred practical exemplary embodiment thereof, said description is accompanied by a set of drawings constituting an integral part of the same, which by way of illustration and not limitation represents the following:
Figure 1 shows a front view of the platform in the unfolded position thereof, in which the covering bellows has been removed in order to see the main constituent elements thereof.
Figure 2 shows a view similar to the one of Figure 1 , with the internal elements covered by the bellows.
PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION
A detailed explanation of a preferred exemplary embodiment of the object of the present invention is provided below with the help of the figures referred to above.
The multi-use portable lifting platform that is described, shown schematically in Figure 1 , comprises a fixed lower platform (1 ) and an upper platform (2) that can be moved in the raising and lowering direction, both platforms (1 ,2) being linked to each other by means of a lifting device (3), which in this preferred embodiment is telescopic and has hydraulic actuation. An assembly of four stabilizing bars (4) which are interlocked and connected to each other diagonally, as well as to the upper (2) and lower (1 ) platforms, provides stability and safety to the assembly.
The lower platform (1 ) rests on the floor and supports the elements of the lifting device (3). A user who wishes to be raised gets on the movable upper platform (2), on which anti-slip elements are also located in order to prevent possible falls, as well as controls for manual actuating the lifting device (3) and controlling said raising and lowering movement of the upper platform (2).
A bellows-shaped fabric or flexible element (5) covers the lifting device (3), the stabilizing bars (4) and the space between the upper platform (1 ) and the lower platform (2), as seen in Figure 2.
Claims
1 . A portable lifting platform comprising:
- a fixed lower platform to rest on a floor,
- an upper platform that can be moved in the raising and lowering direction, for supporting a user,
- a lifting device located between the upper and lower platforms,
- at least four stabilizing bars, interlocked and connected to each other diagonally, situated between the upper and lower platforms, and
- a covering bellows linked to the lower and upper platforms in order to cover the lifting device and the stabilizing bars.
2. The lifting platform according to claim 1 , wherein the lifting device is a telescopic lifter with hydraulic actuation.
3. The lifting platform according to claim 1 , wherein the upper platform incorporates anti-slip surfaces.
