  • the method further includes verifying whether the virtual channel numberis selected according to the user input or whether the virtual channel number is specified and selected; and when the virtual channel numberis selected, displaying the second content on the display.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif d'affichage. Le dispositif d'affichage comprend un afficheur ; un dispositif d'entrée configuré pour recevoir une entrée d'utilisateur ; un premier circuit de communication configuré pour recevoir un premier contenu de la part d'un premier réseau correspondant à un premier canal sélectionné selon l'entrée d'utilisateur dans un premier créneau temporel et recevoir un deuxième contenu associé au premier contenu sur le premier réseau ou un deuxième réseau correspondant au premier canal ; et un processeur configuré pour, lorsque le deuxième contenu est reçu, attribuer un numéro de canal virtuel au deuxième contenu. Le premier contenu est un contenu programmé pour être diffusé dans un premier créneau temporel du premier canal dans une table de diffusion et il est diffusé dans le premier créneau temporel. Le deuxième contenu est un contenu programmé pour être diffusé dans un deuxième créneau temporel avant le premier créneau temporel dans la table de diffusion, mais il est étendu et diffusé jusqu'à au moins une portion du premier créneau temporel. Et le processeur est configuré pour inclure le numéro de canal virtuel et les informations du deuxième contenu dans les informations de liste de canaux et/ou les informations de guide de programme électronique (EPG) affichées sur l'afficheur.
