 特許文献1の制御装置には、負荷において使用された温水に関する温水使用量、再生可能エネルギー発電装置の発電量、燃料電池の発電量、水素貯蔵装置が貯蔵している水素の貯蔵量、及び燃料電池で加熱されて貯蔵された温水の貯蔵量等のデータD1が入力される。そして、電力系統の電力供給量(データD2)が入力される。さらに、負荷の電力使用量(データD3,電力需要量)が入力される。制御装置は、選択された一の運転モードを電力供給システムが実行するように、入力されたデータD1,D2,D3に基づいて各部の動作を制御する。
 運転モードにおいて燃料電池から負荷へ電力を供給するか否かは、上述のデータD1,D2,D3に基づき、複雑な条件を満たすか否かにより判定される。

 上述したように、特許文献1の電力供給システムにおいては、燃料電池から負荷へ電力を供給するか否かの判定を行うために、多くのデータを要し、判定が複雑であるという問題があった。同様に、再生可能エネルギー発電装置により生じた電力を用いて水素を生成するか否かの判定を行うために、多くのデータを要し、判定が複雑であった。
 本開示は、系統電源からの電力の潮流方向を判定し、容易に水素発生部又は燃料電池の作動を制御することができる電力供給システムを提供することを目的とする。
 本開示に係る電力供給システムは、再生可能エネルギーを受けて発電する再生可能エネルギー発電部が発電した電力により水素を発生する水素発生部と、該水素発生部により発生した水素を貯蔵する水素貯蔵部と、該水素貯蔵部に貯蔵された水素を用いて発電する燃料電池と、系統電源と前記再生可能エネルギー発電部とを接続可能にし、前記系統電源と前記再生可能エネルギー発電部との間に設けた接続点を介し負荷を接続可能にし、該負荷と前記接続点との間に前記燃料電池を接続してある電力線と、前記系統電源と前記接続点との間に設けられ、該系統電源からの電力の潮流方向を検出する検出部と、該検出部が検出した潮流方向に基づいて、前記水素発生部又は前記燃料電池の作動を制御する制御部とを備えることを特徴とする。
 本開示によれば、系統電源から出力される電力の潮流方向を検出するのみで電力が不足しているか剰余しているかを判定し、燃料電池又は水素発生部を作動させるか否かを判定することができる。判定のために取得するデータの数及び量は少なく、判定を簡単に行うことができる。

(実施形態1)
 図1は、実施形態1に係る電力供給システム1の各構成の接続関係の一例を示す概念図である。
 電力供給システム1は、水素発生ブロック、水素貯蔵ブロック、発電ブロック、EMS(Energy Management System)10、電流検出部11、電圧検出部12、電力線18、及び接続点19を備える。電流検出部11としては、例えばCT(Current Transformer:変流器)等が挙げられる。電力線18には、系統電源13及び負荷14が接続可能である。
 水素発生ブロックは、再生可能エネルギー発電部としての太陽光発電装置2(以下、PVという)、PCS(Power Conditioning System)3、二次電池4、BMS(Battery Management System)5、及び水素発生器6を含む。
 PV2は太陽光を太陽電池で受光し、光電変換を行うことにより発電を行う。
 PCS3は、PV2が出力した直流電力が所定の電圧幅になるように調整し、調整された直流電力を交流電力に変換する。また、PCS3は、PV2が出力する電力を常に最大値に維持するMPPT(Maximum Power Point Tracking:最大電力点追従)方式の制御を行う。
 二次電池4は例えばリチウムイオン電池、ニッケル水素電池、又は鉛電池等からなり、PV2のバックアップ電池として設けられている。BMS5は二次電池4の充放電動作の制御を行う。
 水素発生器6は、純水製造装置61及び水電解セル62を備える。純水製造装置61には、水道16から排水管22を介して水道水が導入され、純水製造装置61は不純物を除去して純水を製造する。
 水電解セル62は、PV2により生じた電力を用いて純水に電圧を印加し、水を水素と酸素とに電気分解する。
 水素発生器6において生成された水素は、水素貯蔵ブロックの水素タンク7へ水素通流管21を介して送られ、水素タンク7に貯蔵される。酸素は、大気中に放出される。水素タンク7は、一例として、高圧ボンベ又はMH(Metal Hydride)ボンベ等が挙げられる。MHボンベは水素吸蔵合金を充填してなる。水素発生器6、水素タンク7、及び燃料電池8(以下、FCという)の間に水素通流管21が配されており、水素通流管21に設けられている三方弁20により、水素の流れる方向及び水素流量が調整される。
 発電ブロックは、FC8及びPCS9を備える。水素タンク7は、三方弁20を介しFC8へ水素を供給する。
 FC8は、例えば固体高分子形燃料電池(Polymer electrolyte fuel cell)である。
 FC8は、水素及び酸素を反応させて発電する燃料電池スタック81を備える。燃料電池スタック81は、例えば固体高分子電解質膜を負極と陽極とで両側から挟んで膜電極接合体を形成し、この膜電極接合体の両側に一対のセパレータを配置して平板部状の単位セルを構成し、この単位セルを複数積層してパッケージ化したものである。FC8は水素タンク7から導入された水素を用いて発電を行い、生じた電力をPCS9へ出力する。
 PCS9は、FC8が出力した直流電力が所定の電圧幅になるように調整し、調整された直流電力を交流電力に変換する。
 FC8の燃料電池スタック81での発電は発熱反応であるので、水道16から排水管22を介して水を導入し、燃料電池スタック81内を通流させて冷却する。燃料電池スタック81から熱を伝導された水は貯湯タンク15へ送られ、貯湯される。水素タンク7がMHボンベである場合、貯湯タンク15内の温水はMHボンベを加熱して水素を放出するために用いられる。
 EMS10は、CPU、メモリ、及びインタフェースを保持するコンピュータとして構成され、電力供給システム1の各部の動作を制御する。図1において、EMS10と各構成部との接続関係は一部省略している。
 電力線18は、PV2と系統電源13とを接続可能にし、系統電源13とPV2との間に設けた接続点19を介し負荷14が接続可能である。また、電力線18は、負荷14と接続点19との間にFC8を接続するように設けられている。電力線18を流れる電流は交流電流であり、電力線18は2本の線からなる。接続関係については、図1に示す限りではなく、例えば、発電ブロックが、水素発生ブロックと接続点19との間に接続されていてもよい。
 電流検出部11及び電圧検出部12は、系統電源13と接続点19との間に設けられている。電流検出部11は系統電源13と接続点19との間を流れる電流を検出し、電圧検出部12は電圧を検出する。
 EMS10は、電流検出部11から電流値を取得し、電圧検出部12から電圧値を取得して、系統電源13からの電力(以下、系統電力という)の潮流方向を検出する。EMS10は、検出した系統電力の潮流方向に基づいて、水素発生器6、三方弁20、及びFC8等の動作を制御する。
 以下、EMS10による電力供給システム1の各部の動作の制御について説明する。
 図2はEMS10による電力供給のアルゴリズムを説明するための説明図、表1は該アルゴリズムを説明するための表である。

 図2及び表1に示すようにPV2は常に前記MPPT方式で発電する。
 EMS10は、所定の間隔で、電流検出部11及び電圧検出部12から電流値及び電圧値を取得する。EMS10は、取得した電流値及び電圧値に基づいて、系統電力の潮流方向を検出する。
 EMS10は、系統電力の潮流方向の正負を有効電力の正負により判定する。一例として、EMS10は、電圧を基準にして電流との位相差が±90度以内であれば、有効電力は正であり、即ち系統電力の潮流方向は正(図1)であると判定する。位相差が±90度以内でない場合、有効電力は負であり、系統電力の潮流方向は負(図1)であると判定する。なお、潮流方向の判定方法は、この場合に限定されない。
 EMS10は、電流検出部11から取得した電流値I、及び電圧検出部12から取得した電圧値Vを乗算して有効電力の値を表す電力Wを求める。電力Wは正又は負の数値として表される。即ち電力Wが正の数である場合、系統電力の潮流方向は正(図1)であり、電力Wが負の数である場合、系統電力の潮流方向は負(図1)である。
 本実施形態においては、FC8を作動させるための電力の閾値Xを設けている。閾値Xは正の値である。例えば、単に系統電力の潮流方向が正(図1)である場合、FC8を作動させ、系統電力の潮流方向が負である場合、水素発生器6を作動させることにすると、電力Wが0である場合にはFC8及び水素発生器6が同時に作動する虞があり、FC8で発電した電力で水素を発生するという無駄な動作をしてしまうことになる。つまり、無駄にエネルギーを消費することになる。本実施形態においては、これを回避することができる。電力Wが0と閾値Xとの間にある場合、電力の需給のバランスが良好である。系統電力の供給量が出来る限り少なくなるように、閾値Xを予め実験等により求めておく。
 EMS10は電力Wが閾値X以上であるか否かを判定し、電力Wが閾値X以上であると判定した場合、即ち電力不足であると判定した場合、水素発生器6の動作を停止し、PV2からの電力により水素発生器6から水素が発生することを停止する。
 EMS10は、三方弁20を介し水素タンク7から水素をFC8へ放出し、FC8の燃料電池スタック81で発電を行う。
 FC8で生じた直流電流はPCS9により交流電流に変換され、FC8で生じた電力は負荷14へ供給される。これにより、電力の不足分がFC8により補われることになる。
 EMS10は、電力Wが0と閾値Xとの間になるように、水素タンク7からの水素の放出量を三方弁20の開閉量により調整し、FC8の発電量を制御する。
 EMS10が、電力Wは0以上閾値X未満であると判定した場合、主にPV2の電力のみで運転を行う。不足分は系統電力で補う。
 EMS10は、水素発生器6の動作を停止し、水素タンク7からFC8への水素の放出を三方弁20により閉止し、FC8の作動を停止する。
 EMS10は、電力Wが0未満であると判定した場合、即ち系統電力の潮流方向が負(図1)であると判定した場合、電力供給システム1の状態は余剰電力があると判定する。
 EMS10は、水電解セル電流値指令(図1)を水素発生器6へ送り、水素発生器6において水素を発生させる。具体的には、EMS10は、現時点の電力Wに基づいて水素発生器6の水電解セル62へ流す電流の電流値を指令し、水電解セル62で発生する水素量を、取得する電力Wが0以上閾値X未満の範囲内に収まるように調整する。
 水素発生器6により生じた水素は、三方弁20を介して水素タンク7に貯蔵される。
 EMS10はFC8の作動を停止する。
 以上のように構成されているので、本実施形態においては、系統電力の潮流方向を電流検出部11及び電圧検出部12から取得した電流値及び電圧値に基づいて判定し、電力の不足又は剰余を判定し、水素発生部6又はFC8を作動させるか否かを判定することができる。判定のために取得するデータ数及び量は少なく、判定を容易に行うことができる。
 系統電力の潮流方向が正(図1)である場合、電力供給システム1の状態は電力が不足している状態なのでFC8を発電させる。系統電力の潮流方向が負(図2)である場合、電力供給システム1の状態は電力が余っている状態なのでPV2の電力により水素発生器6において水素を発生させ、水素タンク7に貯蔵する。これにより間接的に電力を蓄えることになる。リチウムイオン二次電池等の二次電池にPV2の電力を蓄える場合、自然放電によりロスが生じるが、水素タンク7に貯蔵される水素はロスがない。従って、電力供給システム1の発電効率は良好である。
 本実施形態においては、取得する電力Wが0と閾値Xとの範囲内に収まるように水素発生器6又はFC8を制御するので、電力の需給のバランスが良好であり、系統電力の消費量が少なくて済む。電力不足の場合、現時点の電力Wに基づき、FC8へ放出する水素量を調整して発電量を調整し、電力剰余の場合、水素発生器6における水素発生量を増減することで、容易に電力Wが0と閾値Xとの間に収まるように制御することができる。
 本実施形態においては、EMS10が、系統電力の潮流方向が正(図1)である場合に水素発生器6を停止させるので、系統電力を使用して水素発生器6を作動させることがなく、系統電源13のエネルギー消費を抑えることができる。
(実施形態2)
 図3は、実施形態2に係る電力供給システム50を示す概念図である。図3において、EMS10と各構成部との接続関係は一部省略している。
 電力供給システム50は、電流検出部11及び電圧検出部12の代わりに電力検出部17を備えること以外は、実施形態1に係る電力供給システム1と同様の構成を有する。
 本実施形態においては、系統電力の潮流方向及び電力の大きさを電力検出部17により同時に取得することができる。即ち電力Wの正負を判定することで系統電力の潮流方向の判定を容易に行うことができ、同時に電力Wの絶対値に基づき、水素発生量又はFC8へ送る水素量を調整し、電力Wが0と閾値Xとの範囲内に収まるように制御することができる。判定のために取得するデータの数は一つである。
 電力検出部17は、電流検出部11及び電圧検出部12と比較して高価であるので、電力供給システムのコストダウンを図る場合、上述の実施形態1に示すように電流検出部11及び電圧検出部12を使用することにしてもよい。
 以上のように、本開示に係る電力供給システムは、再生可能エネルギーを受けて発電する再生可能エネルギー発電部が発電した電力により水素を発生する水素発生部と、該水素発生部により発生した水素を貯蔵する水素貯蔵部と、該水素貯蔵部に貯蔵された水素を用いて発電する燃料電池と、系統電源と前記再生可能エネルギー発電部とを接続し、前記系統電源と前記再生可能エネルギー発電部との間に設けた接続点を介し負荷を接続し、該負荷と前記接続点との間に前記燃料電池を接続してある電力線と、前記系統電源と前記接続点との間に設けられ、該系統電源からの電力の潮流方向を検出する検出部と、該検出部が検出した潮流方向に基づいて、前記水素発生部又は前記燃料電池の作動を制御する制御部とを備えることを特徴とする。
 本開示においては、系統電源から出力される電力の潮流方向が正であるか負であるかを検出するのみで電力が不足しているか剰余しているかを判定し、燃料電池又は水素発生部を作動させるか否かを判定することができる。判定のために取得するデータが少なく、判定を容易に行うことができる。
 本開示に係る電力供給システムは、上述の電力供給システムにおいて、前記制御部は、前記潮流方向が正(図1、図3)である場合に前記燃料電池を発電させ、前記潮流方向が負(図1、図3)である場合に前記水素発生部を作動させることを特徴とする。
 本開示においては、電力の潮流方向が正(図1、図3)である場合、電力が不足しているので燃料電池を発電させる。潮流方向が負(図1、図3)である場合、電力が余っているので水素発生部により水素を発生させる。
 本開示においては、電力の潮流方向に基づき、燃料電池及び水素発生部のいずれを作動させるかを容易に判定することができ、燃料電池及び水素発生部の作動を容易に制御することができる。
 本開示に係る電力供給システムは、上述の電力供給システムにおいて、前記検出部は電流計及び電圧計を含み、又は電力計を含み、前記制御部は、前記検出部から前記電力を取得することを特徴とする。
 検出部が電流計及び電圧計を含む場合、取得した電流値及び電圧値に基づいて有効電力の正負を判定し、系統電源からの電力の潮流方向を判定することができる。電圧を基準にしたときの電圧と電流との位相差が±90度以内であれば、前記電力は正であり、即ち電力の潮流方向は正(図1)であると判定できる。
 検出部が電力計を含む場合、電力が正負のいずれの値であるかを判定することにより、潮流方向を判定することができる。(図3)
 制御部は電力の大きさに基づいて、電力供給システムの各部の動作を制御することができる。
 本開示に係る電力供給システムは、上述の電力供給システムにおいて、前記制御部は、前記電力が所定範囲内に収まるように、前記水素発生部又は前記燃料電池の作動を制御することを特徴とする。
 本開示においては、検出部が検出した値に基づいて水素発生部又は燃料電池の出力を制御し、前記電力が所定範囲内に収まるようにすることができる。例えば電力が0に近い場合、電力の需給のバランスが良好である。
 本開示に係る電力供給システムは、上述の電力供給システムにおいて、前記制御部は、前記電力に基づいて、前記水素発生部の水素発生量を制御することを特徴とする。
 本開示においては、前記電力に応じて、水素発生量を増減し、電力の需給のバランスを良好にすることができる。
 本開示に係る電力供給システムは、上述の電力供給システムにおいて、前記制御部は、前記電力が正側に所定の閾値を越えた場合に、前記燃料電池の発電を開始することを特徴とする。
 電力が正の場合、燃料電池を作動させ、負の場合、水素発生部を作動させることにすると、電力が0の場合には燃料電池及び水素発生部が同時に作動することになり、燃料電池で発電した電力で水素を発生するという無駄な動作をしてしまう虞があり、無駄にエネルギーを消費することになる。本開示においては、これを回避することができる。
 本開示に係る電力供給システムは、上述の電力供給システムにおいて、前記制御部は、前記潮流方向が正(図1、図3)である場合に前記水素発生部を停止させることを特徴とする。
 電力が正(図1、図3)のときに水素発生部を停止させることで、系統電源からの電力を使用して水素発生部を作動させることがなく、系統電源のエネルギー消費を抑えることができる。
 本開示は上述した実施形態の内容に限定されるものではなく、請求項に示した範囲で種々の変更が可能である。即ち、請求項に示した範囲で適宜変更した技術的手段を組み合わせて得られる実施形態も本開示の技術的範囲に含まれる。
 例えば実施形態においては、再生可能エネルギー発電部としてPV2を挙げているが、これに限定されず、風力等の再生可能エネルギーを用いて発電する装置であってもよい。
 また、再生可能エネルギー発電部は電力供給システムに備えられるものであってもよく、外部装置であってもよい。

Claims (8)

  1.  再生可能エネルギーを受けて発電する再生可能エネルギー発電部が発電した電力により水素を発生する水素発生部と、
     該水素発生部により発生した水素を貯蔵する水素貯蔵部と、
     該水素貯蔵部に貯蔵された水素を用いて発電する燃料電池と、
     前記再生可能エネルギー発電部と前記燃料電池とを接続している電力線であって、
     前記電力線は、接続点を介して、前記再生可能エネルギー発電部と前記燃料電池とに系統電源を接続可能であり、
     前記電力線は、前記接続点を介して、前記系統電源に負荷を接続可能であり、
     前記系統電源が接続された状態における、前記系統電源と前記接続点との間の前記電力線に接続され、前記系統電源からの電力の潮流方向を検出するための検出部と、
     該検出部が検出した潮流方向に基づいて、前記水素発生部又は前記燃料電池の作動を制御する制御部と
     を備えることを特徴とする電力供給システム。
  2. 前記電力線は、
     前記系統電源と前記再生可能エネルギー発電部との間の前記接続点を介して負荷を接続可能にし、前記負荷が接続された状態における負荷と前記接続点との間に前記燃料電池を接続してあることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電力供給システム。
  3.  前記制御部は、前記潮流方向が前記系統電源から前記接続点に向かう第1の方向である場合に前記燃料電池を発電させ、前記潮流方向が前記接続点から前記系統電源に向かう第2の方向である場合に前記水素発生部を作動させることを特徴とする請求項1、または2に記載の電力供給システム。
  4.  前記検出部は電流計及び電圧計を含み、又は電力計を含み、
     前記制御部は、前記検出部から前記電力を取得することを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の電力供給システム。
  5.  前記制御部は、前記電力が所定範囲内に収まるように、前記水素発生部又は前記燃料電池の作動を制御することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の電力供給システム。
  6.  前記制御部は、前記電力に基づいて、前記水素発生部の水素発生量を制御することを特徴とする請求項4又は5に記載の電力供給システム。
  7.  前記制御部は、前記電力が正側に所定の閾値を越えた場合に、前記燃料電池の発電を開始することを特徴とする請求項4から6までのいずれか1項に記載の電力供給システム。
  8.  前記制御部は、前記潮流方向が前記系統電源から前記接続点に向かう第1の方向である場合に前記水素発生部を停止させることを特徴とする請求項3から7までのいずれか1項に記載の電力供給システム。
