Abstract
The present invention generally relates to an air freshener having laser printed photo (1) comprising a body (101) within which a fragrance composition is dispersed and a layer of composition (103) on surface of said body (101) thereon; said layer of composition (103) is applied by a laser printing means (105) capable of receiving imagery data files or formats from a computing means (107); and said laser printing means (105) is capable to print photo imagery.
Description
LASER PRINTED PHOTO ON AIR FRESHENER
1. TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention generally relates to an air freshener having laser printed photo comprising a body within which a fragrance composition is dispersed and a layer of composition on surface of said body thereon; said layer of composition is applied by a laser printing means capable of receiving imagery data files or formats from a computing means; and said laser printing means is capable to print photo imagery.
2. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Air fresheners are common devices used to improve or change the olfactory characteristics of an environment. Such environment can include bathroom, refrigerators, vehicles, lockers, drawers or others. One of the common type of air freshener is aerosol sprays which can disperse a fragrant composition when required. Nonetheless, their effect is short- lasting and the intensity of fragrance is not constant. In view of that, a substitute type of air freshener has been invented. This type of air freshener has a volatile fragrance compound dispersed in a body or device such as a wax or gel from which it can evaporate. This type of air freshener provides constant intensity of fragrance but the volatile composition is short-lasting.
Laser printing is an electrostatic digital, printing process. However, such technique is only limited to fibrous substrate such as paper, plastic, or metal.
Hence to alleviate these shortcomings, an air freshener having laser printed photo with body within which a fragrance composition is dispersed is invented.
3. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
Accordingly, it is the primary aim of the present invention to provide a laser printed photo on air freshener. It is an object of the present invention to provide an air freshener with body within which a fragrance composition is dispersed . it is yet another object of the present invention to enable a laser printing imagery resolution of at least 3,000 pixels per inch (118 pixels per mm) on the air freshener. It is yet another object of the present invention to provide said air freshener surface with laser printing resistance to artificial light, sunlight, hydrocarbons such as alcohol, aromatic hydrocarbons such as perfume, and water.
It is yet another object of the present invention to provide a laser printed photo on air freshener with at least one magnets incorporated into the body.
It is yet another object of the present invention to provide a laser printed photo on air freshener with at least one attaching means for at least one object
Additional objects of the invention will become apparent with an understanding of the following detailed description of the invention or upon employment of the invention in actual practice. According to the preferred embodiment of the present invention the following is provided:
An air freshener having laser printed photo, comprising: a body within which a fragrance composition is dispersed; a layer of composition on surface of said body thereon; characterized in that said layer of composition is applied by a laser printing means capable of receiving imagery data files or formats from a computing means; and
said laser printing means is capable to print photo imagery.
4. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

FIG. I shows an exemplary side view of the present invention with at least one magnet attached to the surface of said air freshener.
FIG. 2 shows a side view of another embodiment of the present invention with at least one magnet incorporates into the body of an air freshener.
FIG. 3 shows a side view of another embodiment of the present invention with at least one attaching means for at least one object. 5. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
In the following detailed description, numerous specific details are set forth in order to provide a thorough understanding of the invention. However, it will be understood by the person having ordinary skill in the art that the invention may be practised without these specific details. In
other instances, well known methods, procedures and/ or components have not been described in detail so as not to obscure the invention.
The invention will be more clearly understood from the following description of the embodiments thereof, given by way of example only with reference to the accompanying drawings, which are not drawn to scale.
As used in this disclosure and the appended claims herein, the singular forms "a", "an", and "the" include plural referents unless the context clearly dictates or denotes otherwise. Ranges may be expressed herein as form "about" one particular value, and/or to "about" another particular value. When such a range is expressed, another embodiment includes from the one particular value and/or to the other particular value. Similarly, when values are expressed as approximations, by use of the antecedent "about," it will be understood that the particular value forms another embodiment It will be further understood that the endpoints of each of the ranges are significant both in relation to the other endpoint, and independently of the other endpoint.
Throughout the disclosure and claims of this spedfication, the word "comprise" and variations of the word, such as "comprising" and "comprises," means "including but not limited to," and is not intended to exclude, for example, other components, integers or steps. "Exemplary" means "an example of" and is not intended to convey an indication of a
preferred or ideal embodiment, "such as" is not used in a restrictive sense, but for explanatory purposes.
Referring to FIG. 1, there is shown an exemplary side view of the present invention, an air freshener having laser printed photo (1) comprising; a body (101) within which a fragrance composition is dispersed, a layer of composition (103) on surface of said body (101) thereon, at least a laser printing means (105) abuts said layer (103) to enable colour toners transfer thereon. Said laser printing means (105) receives photo imagery data files or formats. For instances, vector and/or raster formats such as GIF, PNG, JPG, BMP, TIFF, SVG or the like, from a computing means (107) demarcated by a dotted arrow, abuts said layer of composition (103) to enable colour toners transfer thereon.
The laser printing is ideally colour toner type comprising CYMK (cyan, yellow, magenta, and key/ black) colour toners; however, it can produce a monochrome or colour printing, or a combination thereof, on said air freshener's body (101) surface. The laser printing means is capable to print imagery resolution of preferably more than 3,000 pixels per inch (118 pixels per mm). However, other imagery resolution is still applicable as long as portrays a clear image. Said photo imagery is with 3- diementional (3D) or emboss colour image.
Said air freshener having laser printed photo (1) consisting a body (101) which is made of resin or plaster within which a fragrance composition is dispersed. Said fragrance can be synthetic or natural based. Said air freshener (1) further comprises of at least one magnet (109) attached to the surface. Said magnet (109) includes bar magnet, disc magnet, cylinder magnets, ring magnets or the like. Said resin consisting of 2 to 30 % by mass of vinyl-base polymer which contains a diacetone acrylamide unit, 0.01 to 5 % by mass of polyfunctional hydrazide compound, 0.1 to 60 %by mass of water, 5 to 95 % by mass of water soluble solvent and 0.1 to 93 % by mass of perfume except aldehydes. Said vinyl- base polymer includes diacetone acrylamide vinyl acetate copolymer.
Referring now to FIGS. 2, there are shown a side view of another embodiment of the present invention with at least one magnet (109) incorporates into the body (101) of an air freshener (1). Said magnet (109) includes magnet powder, bar magnet disc magnet sphere magnets, cylinder magnets, ring magnets or the like.
Referring now to FIGS. 3, there are shown a side view of another embodiment of the present invention with at least one attaching mean (201) for at least one object (203). Said object (203) includes keychain, key, electronic devices or any other objects.
While the present invention has been shown and described herein in what are considered to be the preferred embodiments thereof, illustrating the results and advantages over the prior art obtained through the present invention, and the invention is not limited to those specific embodiments. Thus, the forms of the invention shown and described herein are to be taken as illustrative only and other embodiments may be selected without departing from the scope of the present invention, as set forth in the claims appended hereto.
Claims
1. An air freshener having laser printed photo (1), comprising: a body (101) within which a fragrance composition is dispersed; a layer of composition (103) on surface of said body (101) thereon; characterized in that said layer of composition (103) is applied by a laser printing means (105) capable of receiving imagery data files or formats from a computing means (107); and said laser printing means (105) is capable to print photo imagery.
2. The laser printed photo on air freshener (1) as claimed in Claim 1 wherein said body (101) is made of resin or plaster.
3. The laser printed photo on air freshener (1) as claimed in Claim 1 wherein said fragrance is synthetic based or natural based.
4. The laser printed photo on air freshener (1) as claimed in Claim 1 wherein said air freshener (1) further comprises of at least one magnet (109).
5. The laser printed photo on air freshener (1) as claimed in Claim 1 wherein said body (101) further comprises of at least one magnet (109) incorporated into it
6. The laser printed photo on air freshener (1) as claimed in Claim 1 wherein said air freshener (1) further comprises of at least one attaching means (201) for at least one object (203),
7. The laser printed photo on air freshener (1) as claimed in Claim 1 wherein said object (203) comprises of keychain, key, electronic devices, or any other objects.
8. The laser printed photo on air freshener (1) as claimed in Claim 1 wherein said photo imagery is with resolution of more than 3,000 pixels per inch (118 pixels per mm).
9. The laser printed photo on air freshener (1) as claimed in Claim 1 wherein said photo imagery is with 3-dimensional (3D) or emboss colour image.
10. The laser printed photo on air freshener (1) as claimed in Claim 2 wherein said resin consisting of 2 to 30 % by mass of vinyl-base polymer which contains a diacetone acrylamide unit, 0.01 to 5 % by mass of poly functional hydrasride compound, 0.1 to 60 %by mass of water, 5 to 95 %
11. The laser printed photo on air freshener (1) as claimed in Claim 8 wherein said vinyl-base polymer includes diacetone acrylamide vinyl acetate copolymer.
