Abstract
Passengers Smart Bracelets (PSB) is an invention relates to a smart bracelet with an RFID tag used at the airport to remind the passengers (after check in or during transit time). At the large crowded airport in order to catch their flight on time.
Description
Passengers Smart Bracelets (PSB)
1. Technical Field and background art;
The invention relates to a smart bracelet with an RFID tag used at the airport to help passengers.
2. Disclosure of invention:
Modern technology has produced a number of useful electronic identificationand tracking methods and devices used in many fields to find a solution for many problems, from that in large crowded airport, many passengers lost their flights because of many reasons such as they couldn't reach the appropriate gate, forgive the time of flight, sleeping, ...
The Passengers Smart Bracelets (PSB) designed to help passengers to catch their flights on time, it contains a wide screen showing the flight number, the remaining time, gate also a simple map to reach the gate.
At the boarding box, the airline crew use a scanning antenna which puts out radio frequency signals to a RFID tag integrated in the smart bracelet includes all the details about passenger and his trip details such as flight number, the time, the gate and the map. A Network system of RFID reader at the airport will track the RFID tag integrated in the smart bracelet with a rubber silicone slap which is simple to wear by the passenger' hand.
The screen in the PSB can be colored or white black pixels. The map designed to help passenger how to arrive to the gate. The area in the map which corresponds to the position of passenger is flashing in the screen.
The PSB is connected by an RFID network system to reach the location of passengers by the airline crew. 45 Min before the flight (or as specified by the airline), if the passenger is so far from the gate; PSB integrate a vibrator and a speaker; it will vibrate and ring until he arrives to the gate.
In case of gate changing or trip delay a short message will be send by the RFID network system to the PSB with the appropriate passenger's language and all data will be updated.
centre at the airport including all the information about passenger and his position. After that, an airport agent will come to the passenger's location for help.
Before the passenger leave the gate, the airline crew collect passenger's PSB to be reused for another passenger in the boarding box or it can be disposable in this case it will be recycled another time.
PSB is an extremely powerful enabling technology at airports and aircraft, serving to improve security against criminal attack, safety against general hazards, efficiency and error prevention.
3. Brief description of the drawings
Fig. 1 shows the screen, Emergency button and the speaker of the Passenger Smart bracelet (PSB).
Fig.2 shows the rubber silicon slap of PSB.
Fig.3 shows the different important parts of PSB.
4. Best mode of carrying out the invention:
Fig. 1 shows the screen of the PSB which display the flight number, gate number, delayed time and the map to arrive to the gate. The area in the map which corresponds to the position of passenger is flashing in the screen.
In case of gate changing or trip delay a short message will be send by the RFID network system to the screen of PSB with the appropriate passenger's language and all data will be updated.
In case of emergency, the passenger can press an Emergency button in the PSB (for 5 seconds ) which is connected to the RFID network system, an alarm will be send to the rescue centre at the airport including all the information about passenger and his position. After that, an airport agent will come to the passenger's location for help.
Fig.2 shows the rubber silicon slap of the PSB which is simple to use and standard size.
Fig.3 shows the main important parts of the PSB, such as screen, vibrator, speaker, RFID tag and power energy.
The vibrator and the speaker are used to alarm passenger if he is not at the gate before 45 min of flight time (or as specified by the airline ) or in case of message send from the airline crew if there are any change of the flight time or the gate.
The RFID tag is an active RFID. It is scanned by the scanning antenna in the boarding box to load information about the passenger. It is detectable by the RFID network system of the airport, each time the position of the passenger is updated the near RFID reader will scan the RFID tag and the microcontroller of the PSB will update the area in the map which corresponds to the position of passenger by flashing in the screen.
The power energy can be a battery to give energy to the microcontroller, speaker, screen and vibrator and the RFID tag.
Claims
Claims
1- A Passenger Smart Bracelet PSB comprising a rubber silicon slap, a screen, vibrator, emergency button, speaker, RFID tag, power energy and a microcontroller.
2- PSB of claim 1, wherein the rubber silicon slap is used to simplify the wearing and adapting standard size of passengers.
3- PSB of claim 1, wherein the screen is used to display the flight number, gate number, delayed time and the map to arrive to the gate. The area in the map which corresponds to the position of passenger is flashing in the screen.
In case of gate changing or trip delay a short message will be sent by the RFID network system of the airport to the screen of PSB with the appropriate passenger's language and all data will be updated.
4- PSB of claim 1, wherein The vibrator and the speaker are used to alarm passenger if he is not in the gate before 45 min of flight time(or as specified by the airline ) or in case of voice message sent from the airline crew in the appropriate passenger's language if there are any change of the flight time or gate.
5- PSB of claim 1, wherein the emergency button pressed by the passenger for 5 seconds ; in case of emergency; which is connected to the RFID network system, an alarm will be send to the rescue centre at the airport including all the information about passenger and his position. After that, an airport agent will come to the passenger's location for help.
6- PSB of claim 1, wherein RFID tag is an active RFID. It is scanned by the scanning antenna in the boarding box to load information about the passenger. It is detectable by the RFID network system of the airport, each time the position of the passenger is updated by the nearer RFID reader while it is scanning the RFID tag. Subsequently the microcontroller of the PSB will update the area in the map which corresponds to the position of passenger by flashing in the screen.
