Abstract

The present invention refers to a device for collecting pet excrements or vomits, which has the shape of an inverted "Y", which is provided at the upper end thereof with a hair grip-like handle that allows opening and closing the "Y" arms, and at the lower end thereof it comprises an arm provided with a concave sheet and the other arm provided with a container including the replaceable bag where the waste will be deposited, with the arms being joined by means of an articulating point. The sharp end in the form of a spatula of the mechanism arms, sweep and catch all the excrement regardless consistency thereof and without leaving traces, thus allowing collection of pet hard or doughy excrements and vomits in a hygienic and environmentally friendly manner, as well as different sized excrements.

Description

PET WASTE COLLECTOR
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION The present invention may be included in the technical field of tidiness or cleaning of the environment, in particular, in the collection of pet excrements and/or vomits. More particularly, the object of the invention refers to a mechanism contributing to cleaning the environment from the excrements or vomits expelled by pets, providing for easy collection thereof.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Pets such as dogs or cats are common in almost every home, some of them having to live inside the house. And should these live in the countryside or in the city, there is still the need of collecting the excrements and/or vomits they expel.
The current solutions include mechanisms such as forks, scoops, brooms, which collect only the hard pet faeces. These types of mechanisms place the excrements into a separate bag or some of them are provided with features for collecting and placing them into a bag adapted for this purpose, with the drawback that if the excrements are doughy these cannot be collected, or that if the faeces are hard they can collect only one at the time into the bag.
Some excrement collecting systems consist of two pieces, as for example in patent US008827334 which comprises two parts, a rod ending in a fork and another rod ending in a box, which is hollow at the front, for depositing the excrement therein. It has the disadvantage that if the excrements are doughy, the fork will not be able to catch the waste effectively. Another system being used consists of a rod ending in a huge mouth-like scoop, which opens and swallows the excrement. This system does not allow collecting the doughy excrements effectively either (US8,714,604B1 ). Patent US 8,123,266 B1 describes a rod ending in a bag, with which the pet is followed by and then the user has to wait for the moment the pet defecates for catching the waste, thus hindering freedom for both parties. Patent US 6,641 ,188 B2 describes a system that comprises a rod being provided, at the upper end thereof, with a pushing handle lifting and lowering the lid of a rectangular box. Said box opens and closes the lid at the front thereof and it has a bag at the rear side, said bag being replaceable and held to the scooper by some kind of tying. This system consists of a rigid box, where the lid is lifted or lowered. The difficulty of this system is the collection of big or high excrements, since the lid is part of the box itself.
Therefore, considering the previous documents, it is necessary to find alternatives directed to the environment hygiene in a simple manner and for any type of consistency of the excrements.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The present invention refers to a device for pet excrements or vomits collection, having the shape of an inverted Ύ", at the upper end of which it is provided with a hair grip-like handle and at the lower end of which it is provided at one side with a concave-shaped sheet and at the other side with a container comprising the replaceable bag where the waste will be deposited.
The excrement or vomit collecting device has at the upper end thereof a hair grip-like handle that allows opening and closing the "Y" arms. At the lower part thereof, an arm of the inverted "Y" is attached to a point articulating to a vessel with a spatula-like sharp entrance, which comprises at the rear side thereof a bag being fastened with a type of clip to the vessel. At the other arm of the inverted "Y" a concave scoop is arranged with a sharp end similar to a spatula, thus allowing sweeping and catching all the excrements or waste regardless the consistency or size thereof without leaving traces.
Thus, an aspect of the invention refers to a device for collecting waste having the shape of an inverted Y, characterized in that it comprises: - at the upper end thereof, a hair grip-like handle that allows opening and closing the lower end arms;
- at the lower end thereof, two arms joined by an articulated point, wherein one arm comprises a concave scoop and the other arm comprises a container with a sharp edge and a system for fastening a replaceable bag where the waste will be deposited; and
- a tubular element joining and connecting the upper end with the lower end.
This tubular element and/or the device may be made of a light and resistant material that provides for portability thereof, selected from steel or plastic.
DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
FIG 1 . It shows a side view of the device of the invention.
FIG 2. It shows the front view of the device of the invention.
FIG 3. It shows the upper view of the device of the invention. PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION
The following is a description of a preferred embodiment of the invention based on the attached figures. FIG 1 shows a moving portion (1 ) of the handle that opens and closes the device, which is attached to the fixed portion of the handle (2) and which allow opening and closing the waste collector. The handle moves the inverted "Y" arms along (10) and these pivot in (3), causing the concave portion (4) with a spatula-like tip to collect and sweep the waste towards the piece (1 1 ) receiving the waste and to which the bag (9) is engaged with (6) and (7). The piece (1 1 ) pivots at (8) so as to provide for an easier collection of several wastes at the time in a single bag.
FIG 2 is a front view showing the concave scoop (4) being attached by (3) to the long arm (10). FIG 3 is the upper view showing the concave portion (4) that sweeps and collects the wastes towards (1 1 ), by moving the handle (1 ), and finally these fall into the bag (9).
