La cigarette électronique comprend un tube de cigarette contenant une solution de nicotine, un atomiseur pour transformer la nicotine liquide se trouvant dans le tube de cigarette en brume, une alimentation électrique et un commutateur, une bobine de chauffage étant disposée à l'intérieur de l'atomiseur ; la cigarette électronique comprenant en outre un appareil de détection pour détecter une valeur de résistance de la bobine de chauffage et une carte de circuit imprimé, l'alimentation électrique étant connectée électriquement à la carte de circuit imprimé, la carte de circuit imprimé étant connectée à l'appareil de détection, la carte de circuit imprimé étant pourvue d'un appareil de commande de type microcontrôleur (MCU) et d'un circuit d'alimentation électrique survolteur-dévolteur électriquement connecté à la bobine de chauffage, l'appareil de détection transférant la valeur de résistance détectée de la bobine de chauffage à l'appareil de commande MCU, l'appareil de commande MCU commandant, en fonction de la valeur de résistance de la bobine de chauffage, le circuit d'alimentation électrique survolteur-dévolteur de sorte qu'il délivre différentes tensions à l'atomiseur.
