具体实施方式
为了使本申请的目的、技术方案及优点更加清楚明白,以下结合附图及实施例,对本申请进行进一步详细说明。应当理解,此处所描述的具体实施例仅仅用以解释本申请,并不用于限定本申请。
请参考图1及图2,图1及图2分别为本申请实施例一电子装置10的外观示意图及功能方块图。电子装置10可为一智能手机或是一平板计算机,其包含有一显示屏100、一指纹辨识电路102、复数个指纹感测像素单元PS、一电源供应电路104、一判断电路106以及一运作电路108。显示屏100用来显示信息;复数个指纹感测像素单元PS可设置于显示屏100之上,用来接受使用者的 一手指的按压;指纹辨识电路102耦接于指纹感测像素单元PS,用来读取手指的一指纹;运作电路108可包含处理器、内存以及其他功能模块,用来执行电子装置10的正常操作。
另外,显示屏100具有一发光区域R,复数个指纹感测像素单元PS集中设置于显示屏100的发光区域R中。当电子装置10处于一休眠模式(Sleep Mode或Hibernate Mode)时,运作电路108为暂时关闭(Off),运作电路108不执行电子装置10的运算操作。另外,于休眠模式中,显示屏100仅于发光区域R发光,而显示屏100除了发光区域R以外的区域为关闭(或不发光)。换句话说,当电子装置10处于休眠模式时,显示屏100大部分的区域为全暗的,仅发光区域R为亮的,如此一来,发光区域R可引导用户于显示屏100的发光区域R进行手指按压,而集中于发光区域R的指纹感测像素单元PS以及指纹辨识电路102即可读取手指的指纹,并产生对应于手指的一指纹辨识结果FP_res;进一步地,耦接于指纹辨识电路102与运作电路108的判断电路106可判断指纹辨识结果FP_res与预先储存于判断电路106的一指纹FP_1是否相符。当判断电路106判断指纹辨识结果FP_res与指纹FP_1相符时,判断电路106可产生一控制信号ctrl,以唤醒/启动运作电路108,使得电子装置10进入一正常操作模式。
详细来说,显示屏100可包含复数个显示像素组件OD、OD_R,复数个显示像素组件OD、OD_R可为有机发光二极管(Organic Light-Emitting Diode,OLED),其中显示像素组件OD_R代表位于发光区域R中的显示像素组件,而显示像素组件OD代表于发光区域R以外的显示像素组件(即不位于发光区域R的显示像素组件)。当电子装置10处于休眠模式时,显示像素组件OD_R发光 而显示像素组件OD不发光,如此一来,于休眠模式中,显示屏100的发光区域R即可为亮的,而显示屏100中除了发光区域R以外的其他区域可为全暗的。另外,电子装置10的电源供应电路104可耦接于显示像素组件OD_R、指纹感测像素单元PS、指纹辨识电路102以及判断电路106,用来于休眠模式中,对显示像素组件OD_R、指纹感测像素单元PS、指纹辨识电路102以及判断电路106供电。
于一实施例中,电源供应电路104可于正常操作模式中对显示屏100的显示像素组件OD、OD_R以及运作电路108供电,当电子装置10切换至休眠模式时,电源供应电路104可暂停对显示像素组件OD以及运作电路108供电,而仅对显示像素组件OD_R、指纹感测像素单元PS、指纹辨识电路102以及判断电路106供电。于另一实施例中,电子装置10可另包含一第二电源供应电路(未绘示于图1及图2),于正常操作模式中,第二电源供应电路可对显示屏100的显示像素组件OD以及运作电路108供电,而电源供应电路104可对显示像素组件OD_R、指纹感测像素单元PS、指纹辨识电路102以及判断电路106供电,而当电子装置10切换至休眠模式时,第二电源供应电路可暂停对显示像素组件OD以及运作电路108供电,而电源供应电路104可于休眠模式中持续地对显示像素组件OD_R、指纹感测像素单元PS、指纹辨识电路102以及判断电路106供电。
另外,显示屏100可为一触控显示屏,换句话说,显示屏100可另包含一触控侦测模块110,触控侦测模块110可于正常操作模式中判断用户施加于显示屏100的碰触事件,并判读碰触事件于显示屏100的坐标位置,以触发运作电路108进行电子装置10的正常操作。于休眠模式中,电子装置10可将触 控侦测模块110暂时关闭,即用户施加于显示屏100的碰触事件不会触发运作电路108的任何操作,此时电子装置10即进入一屏幕锁定模式。无论是休眠模式或是屏幕锁定模式,显示屏100皆仅于发光区域R发光,其余区域皆为不发光。
习知技术中,当电子装置进入休眠模式时,其显示屏因暂时关闭而全暗,当使用者欲透过按压其手指/输入其指纹来进行身份验证,以唤醒/启动电子装置时,因显示屏为全暗而使用者不知从何按压其手指/输入其指纹,反而造成使用上的不便。相较之下,本申请利用显示屏的发光区域于休眠模式中持续地发光,以引导使用者按压其手指于显示屏的发光区域上,并利用于发光区域中的指纹感测像素单元及指纹辨识电路,读取用户的指纹,以唤醒/启动电子装置进入正常操作模式,如此一来,本申请的电子装置具有较佳的使用便利性。
需注意的是,前述实施例用以说明本申请之概念,本领域具通常知识者当可据以做不同之修饰,而不限于此。举例来说,显示屏不限于为以OLED为显示像素组件/发光组件所组成的显示屏,显示屏亦可为一液晶显示器(Liquid-Crystal Display,LCD)或是一等离子显示器(Plasma Display Panel),只要当电子装置于休眠模式时,显示屏持续地于发光区域发光,即满足本申请的要求。另外,发光区域不限于特定形状,其可为圆形、椭圆形(Oval或是Ellipse)、矩形、多边形(Polygon),或是其他规则或不规则的形状,只要当电子装置于休眠模式时,显示屏持续地于发光区域发光,且指纹感测像素单元及指纹辨识电路可读取用户的指纹,即满足本申请的要求。另外,指纹感测像素单元与显示像素组件于发光区域中不限于以交错的方式排列,只要指纹感测像素单元及显示像素组件皆位于发光区域中,即满足本申请的要求。另 外,指纹感测像素单元PS可为电容式指纹感测像素单元或是光学式指纹感测像素单元,而不限于此。
综上所述,本申请利用显示屏的发光区域于休眠模式中持续地发光,以引导使用者按压其手指于显示屏的发光区域上,以进行指纹辨识,如此一来,本申请的电子装置可增加使用便利性。
以上所述仅为本申请的部分实施例而已,并不用以限制本发明,凡在本发明的精神和原则之内所作的任何修改、等同替换和改进等,均应包含在本发明的保护范围之内。

Claims (10)

  1. 一种电子装置,所述电子装置包括:
    一运作电路,其中当所述电子装置于一休眠模式时,所述运作电路暂时关闭;一显示屏,具有一发光区域;
    复数个指纹感测像素单元,位于所述发光区域中;以及
    一指纹辨识电路,耦接于所述复数个指纹感测像素单元;
    其中,当所述电子装置于所述休眠模式时,所述显示屏于所述发光区域发光,而除了所述发光区域之外,所述显示屏不发光。
  2. 如权利要求1所述的电子装置,其中,所述显示屏包含有复数个显示像素组件,所述复数个显示像素组件中复数个第一显示像素组件位于所述发光区域中。
  3. 如权利要求2所述的电子装置,其中,当所述电子装置于所述休眠模式时,位于所述发光区域的所述复数个第一显示像素组件发光,而其余显示像素组件不发光。
  4. 如权利要求2所述的电子装置,其中,另包含:
    一第一电源供应电路,耦接于所述复数个第一显示像素组件、所述复数个指纹感测像素单元以及所述指纹辨识电路;
    其中,当所述电子装置于所述休眠模式时,所述第一电源供应电路对所述复数个第一显示像素组件、所述复数个指纹感测像素单元以及所述指纹辨识电路供电。
  5. 如权利要求2所述的电子装置,其中,所述显示像素组件为有机发光二极管。
  6. 如权利要求1-5任一项所述的电子装置,其中,所述显示屏包含一触控侦测模块,用来判断于所述显示屏的碰触事件,当所述电子装置于所述休眠模式时, 所述触控侦测模块为暂时关闭。
  7. 如权利要求1所述的电子装置,其中,当所述电子装置于所述休眠模式时,于所述发光区域的所述复数个指纹感测像素单元接受一手指的按压,所述指纹辨识电路读取所述手指的一指纹,并产生对应于所述手指的一指纹辨识结果。
  8. 如权利要求7所述的电子装置,其中,另包含:
    一判断电路,耦接于所述指纹辨识电路以及所述运作电路,用来判断所述指纹辨识结果与一第一指纹是否相符;
    其中,当所述判断电路判断所述指纹辨识结果与所述第一指纹相符时,所述判断电路产生一控制信号,以启动所述运作电路,使得所述电子装置进入一正常操作模式。
  9. 如权利要求1所述的电子装置,其中,所述显示屏为一液晶显示器。
  10. 如权利要求1所述的电子装置,其中,所述显示屏为一等离子显示器。
