Abstract

This invention relates generally to a system and method for services management through interactive participation of users and service providers. The present invention, provide platform for services management through interactive participation and more particularly to identification and selection of service providers for required services and other activities management relative to service industry where several remote users can simultaneously participate and attend the needs of people at large securing services from professionals and industry in an organized manner.

Description

A METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR SERVICE MANAGEMENT
BACKGROUND
A. Technical Field
[001] This invention relates generally to a system and method for services management through interactive participation of users and service providers.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[002] The recent growth of the service industry and urbanized
lifestyle of the society at large has accelerated the demand for most of the services. Many individuals, professionals, service providers and companies investment in the service industry to accomplish the needs of the society for various services has been incremental in view of the less time to market.The individuals, professionals, service providers and companies are investing in the equipments and trainings of the individuals to attend the demand of the market. However, this is resulting in to huge cost of the service infrastructure in terms of manpower and equipments responsible to provide a service which remain idle during the non-availability of the engaging assignments/ projects.
[003] Hence, there is a need of system that have great potential with regard to simultaneous participation of plurality of users for example service seekers and service providers and provides a means to the user of the product / service to ensure no time and capital wastage and help to obtain required services and simultaneously attend and contribute positively to the needs of service providers which typically pertaining to obtaining engaging assignment/ projects and needs of service seekers /users which typically pertaining to identifying, selecting and hiring service providers for the required services, in an organized manner.
[004] It is with respect to these considerations and others that the disclosure made herein is presented.
SUMMERY
[005] This invention relates generally to a system and method for services management through interactive participation of users and service providers. According to the present invention the system and method for services management, performs identification, registration and authentication of a plurality of users by receiving user details through user interface unit, provided by the user through the interactive interface on the user device. It presents plurality of service category to the at least one user through the interactive interface on the user device. It enables the user to select category of service based on his/her choice/interest through the interactive interface on the user device. It enables the user to select subcategory of the selected category of service based on his/her choice/interest through the interactive interface on the user device. It accepts through user interface unit, the task details provided by the user through the interactive interface on the user device and determines the service location. It provides options to the user to book instantly an available service provider professional or to call for quotations. It books instantly available service provider professional, if user confirms the same. It optimizes, the list of the service provider professional from whom quotes are received based on parametric inputs received from user. It enables the user to select service provider professional. It compares the selected service provider professionals profiles by setting parameters provided by user to highlight the most appropriate service provider based on criteria provided by the user. If a service provider is accepted by the user, it facilitates communication between the service provider professional and the user by providing communication details of service provider professional to the user and upending the user with the hire summery. It facilitates and directs the user for recompensation through external gateway interface unit. It presents the task summery to the selected service provider professional. The task summery is updated based on the action performed by the service provider professional. In case an emergency alert is activated, it notifies the system controller, administrator, two nominees given by the user and to the police. It enables the user to rate and review the service provided by the service provider professional further to the completion of the task. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS OF THE

[007] The embodiments herein provide a method and system for service management through interactive participation. Further the embodiments may be easily implemented in various remote data processing and control structures. The method of the invention may also be implemented as application performed by a stand alone or embedded system.

exemplary details for better understanding. However, the invention disclosed can be worked on by a person skilled in the art without the use of these specific details.

A First user-member for example service provider parks his service and contact details with the system and earnsengaging assignments / projects. The system may use service and contact details of a service provider and make the name and service type of the service provider available to a user requesting for the corresponding type of service, thus allowing the users in need to hire actual service of a service provider, thus providing rewards to the service providers. It also helps the user looking for services in reducing the time and capital wastage for hiring required services.
[0016] According to an embodiment of the present invention, the present system and method thereof may provide platforms where at least one user-member can hire services from at least one service provider on a recompensate basis from the system where the user- member may have to provide rewards which may be lesser than the recompensation prevailing in the market. This helps in keeping the service cost of the services project lower. Most of the users
/contractors/ service providers may not have constant work once the project is completed. The system and the method of the present invention may ensure that there may not be any wastage of time and capital may be by helping its user/member to optimize the contracting/ hiring process/ marketing process to obtain engaging assignment / projects.

[0020] As per one of the embodiment of the present invention, the present system and the method comprise of a user registration and authentication mechanism. The user includes but not limited to the customers, users looking forward to hire services, service seekers, service providers, contractors and people at large. The User is allowed to access the system through the user authentication system. The system is capable of locating the location of the user. The location of the user may be detected automatically. Alternatively, the user is prompted to provide the input detailing the location of the user or the location in which the user is looking forward to hire service or to provide service. The system may provide a plurality of service provider category along with indication of number of service providers listed in each service provider category enabling the user to choose the category of the service of his/her interest. The system may also enable user to access the system or link his/her profile available on any other secured networking database such as facebook, twitter so that a plurality of other users may view it. The system enables the user to perform various activity control through the user setting menu provided to the user.

invention, the present system and the method thereof enable the user to select a service provider category based on his/her choice of the services required. Further to the selection of the service provider category the system may provide the list of service provider having on top of the list the service providers who have responded and followed by the service providers available in the vicinity of the selected user location. The system may further optimize the list based on the parametric input provided, wherein the parametric input may include but not limited to the parameter such as radius distance, experience, price and review etc. The system also provides complete profile of the service provider on request.
[0022] As per one another embodiment of the present invention, the present system and the method thereof enable the user to select a service provider based on his/her choice of the services required by presenting the user with at least one option of choosing the category and posting a request that will be received by all service providers in that category. The system may further optimize the list based on the parametric input provided, wherein the parametric input may include but not limited to the parameter such as radius distance, experience, price and review etc. The system also provides complete profile of the service provider on request. [0023] As per one of the embodiment of the present invention, the system and the method thereof enable the user to select the service provider of his choice and compare the profile. The process of compare profile includes but not limited to comparing the profile details such as location of the service provider, experience, price of the service of the service provider etc. Upon comparison the system may highlight the cheapest service provider based on the criteria provided by the user. Further to the comparison, the user may select and hire the service provider for specific service by selecting the hire tool. -

invention, the system and the method thereof a user is allowed to write and post his/her requirement such as but not limited to the job required to be done or the type of services required. Upon receipt of the input regarding the job required to be done or the type of services required by the user, the system actively determines the corresponding category of service providers and forwards the requirement of the user to all the service provides in the selected category. The service providers capable of handling the job or providing the services at required time and destination may revert to the user with their profile , portfolio and cost estimate for the job to be handled or the service to be provided, based on the input set by the user and forwarded by the system and the method thereof. Further to the receipt of the revert from the plurality of service providers, the user may view and analyse the service providers based on various parametric criteria such as but not limited to radius distance, experience, price , review etc. Thus the user is facilitated to decide which service provider he/she wants based on the analytical methods , features and parameters where s/he can see the portfolio of the service providers that have contacted her. Further to the analysis and comparison, the user may select and hire the service provider for specific service by selecting the hire tool.
[0025] In one of the embodiment, when the user posts the request, it is received by the plurality of service providers registered in the category of the request. The plurality of service providers would then contact the user with their quote and if the user accepts any one of the quote, the system would lead the user to the integrated payment system. Upon confirmation of the payment from the integrated payment system the service hire order is confirmed and the service is provided through the service provider. If the user wants to select the service provider from the list, they can contact them via the chat facility given to them by us, upon chatting a custom price can be given to the user through the chat, upon acceptance this would lead to the integrated payment system. Upon rejection user can either ask for a new quote or simply stop conversing with the service provider.

The interactive interface enables a user to choose a category and either place request or directly choose and start chatting with service provider for a quote. The interactive interface enables a service provider to see all live tasks requested as per the chosen category of their trade upon registration. The interactive interface would eliminate any distractions for service providers and is the interactive interface solely dedicated to service providers to view and quote for all tasks they see on this interactive interface from users. Upon receipt of quote user can either accept and this would lead to integrated payment system or user can chat further for another quote, acceptance of quote on chat will lead to the integrated payment system. If the quote is declined, user can end chat there.
[0027] To contact users, service providers can directly discuss with them when a service request is made by the user. Upon acceptance by a user, service provider can chat with the user, if declined a service provider will not be able to chat further with them.

multilingual interface.

invention, the system and method thereof enable the user to hire the selected service provider by selecting the hire tool. Upon exploring the hire tool the user is allowed to hire the service provider by setting the input such as the service required, the day and time at which the service required, the location and space where the service required. If a service provider has already been hired by another user during that time, they won't be able to quote.The user is facilitated through the calendar indicating the schedule of the selected service provider i.e. the days the service provider fully blocked, the free days of the service provider and the time-hours the service provider is available. Upon selecting the time slot the user will be upended with the hire summery. The hire summery may include but not limited to date , time of hire,when user wants the service provider to visit their house price of the service hired, selected pay option etc. Further to the confirmation of the hire summery the system and the method thereof may direct the user to the integrated payment system. Upon confirmation of the payment from the integrated payment system the service hire order is confirmed and the service is provided through the service provider. The user is also provided with the feedback and grievances addressal mechanism to provide feedback or report the grievances. The system and the method thereof also provide an alert mechanism to alert the respective authorities in case of indecent behaviour or any other issues observed while the service provider is servicing the user.

invention, the system and method thereof enables the users to make use of live chat support to talks to backend at the system controller and administrator in case of assistance/Cancellation etc.

The plurality of user devices to provide an interactive interface to the user includes mobile phone, PDA, a user terminal, portable computer device etc. The user interface unit of the service management unit provides interface to communicate between the plurality of user devices and the service management unit. The user registration and authentication unit identify, register and authenticate a plurality of users by receiving user details through user interface unit, provided by the user through the interactive interface on the user device. The service provider professional database maintains the complete details of the plurality of service provider professional along with classification of the plurality of service provider professional based on a plurality of service categories and subcategories. The user database maintains the complete details of the plurality of users along with classification of the plurality of services availed by the plurality of users based on a plurality of service categories and subcategories. The external gateway interface unit provides interface to the user to make recompensation through selected recompensation option. The processing unit presents a plurality of service category to the at least one user. It enables the user to select category of service based on his/her choice/interest and further to select subcategory of the selected category of service. Claims :
1. A system for services management, the system comprises: a plurality of user devices to provide an interactive interface to the user;
a service management unit, the service management unit comprising of a user interface unit, a user registration and authentication unit, a service provider professional database, a user database, an external gateway interface unit and a processing unit;
a communication network providing communication link between a plurality of the user devices and the service management unit.
The system as claimed in claim 1 wherein, the plurality of user devices to provide an interactive interface to the user includes mobile phone, PDA, a user terminal, portable computer device etc.
The system as claimed in claim 1 wherein, user interface unit of the service management unit provides interface to communicate between the plurality of user devices and the service management unit.
The system as claimed in claim 1 wherein, the user registration and authentication unit identify, register and authenticate a plurality of users by receiving user details through user interface unit, provided by the user through the interactive interface on the user device.
5. The system as claimed in claim 1 wherein, the service provider professional database maintains the complete details of the plurality of service provider professional along with classification of the plurality of service provider professional based on a plurality of service categories and subcategories.

maintains the complete details of the plurality of users along with classification of the plurality of services availed by the plurality of users based on a plurality of service categories and subcategories.
7. The system as claimed in claim 1 wherein, the external gateway
interface unit provides interface to the user to make recompensation through selected recompensation option.
8. The system as claimed in claim 1 wherein, the processing unit is
configured to perform presenting of plurality of service category to the at least one user; enabling the user to select category of service based on his/her choice/interest; enabling the user to select subcategory of the selected category of service; accepting the task details provided by the user; determining the service location; booking instantly available service provider professional, if user confirms the same; posting the task to get quotes, if user confirms the same; optimizing, based on parametric inputs received from user, the list of the service provider professional from whom quotes are received; enabling the user to select service provider professional; comparing the selected service provider professionals profiles by setting parameters provided by user to highlight the most appropriate service provider based on criteria provided by the user; allowing communication, upon acceptance of a service provider professional by the user, by providing communication details of service provider professional to the user; upending the user with the hire summery; directing the user for recompensation through external gateway interface unit; presenting the task summery to the selected service provider professional; updating the task summery based on the action performed by the service provider professional; notifying the system controller, administrator, two nominees given by the user and to the police, if emergency alert is activated; enabling the user to rate and review the service provided by the service provider professional further to the completion of the task.
9. The system as claimed in claim 1 wherein, the service management unit is an embedded system configured on FPGA / CPLD.
10. The system as claimed in claim 1 wherein, the processor of the service management unit is an embedded processor configured on FPGA / CPLD.
1 1 . The system as claimed in claim 1 wherein, the service management unit can be a server system incorporating various databases.
12. The system as claimed in claim 1 wherein the user includes the
customers, users looking forward to hire services, service seekers, service providers, contractors and people at large.
13. The system as claimed in claim 1 wherein the location of the user be detected automatically.
14. The system as claimed in claim 1 wherein the user is prompted to provide the input detailing the location of the user or the location in which the user is looking forward to hire service or to provide service.
15. The system as claimed in claim 1 wherein a user is allowed to write and post his/her requirement such as but not limited to the job required to be done or the type of services required.
16. The system as claimed in claim 1 wherein the parametric input
includes the parameter such as radius distance, experience, price and review etc.
17. The system as claimed in claim 1 wherein the system provides
complete profile of the service provider on request.

The system as claimed in claim 1 wherein the user is enabled to select a service provider based on the user's choice of the services required by presenting the user with at least one option of choosing the category and posting a request that will be received by all service providers in that category.
19. The system as claimed in claim 1 wherein the process of compare profile includes comparing the profile details such as location of the service provider, experience, price of the service of the service provider etc.
20. The system as claimed in claim 1 wherein the user is allowed to hire the service provider by setting the input such as the service required, the day and time at which the service required, the location and space where the service required.
21 . The system as claimed in claim 1 wherein the hire summery includes date, time of hire, when user wants the service provider to visit their house recompensation of the service hired, selected recompensation option etc.
22. The system as claimed in claim 1 wherein upon activation of the
emergency feature by the user, it notifies to the system controller and administrator, to two nominees given by the user and to the police.
23. The system as claimed in claim 1 wherein the task summery is
updated based on the action taken by service provider professional wherein the action includes task in progress, task rescheduling, task cancelation, task completion.
24. A method for services management, the method comprising steps of: identifying, registering and authenticating a plurality of users by receiving user details through user interface unit, provided by the user through the interactive interface on the user device; presenting plurality of service category to the at least one user through the interactive interface on the user device; enabling the user to select category of service based on his/her choice/interest through the interactive interface on the user device; enabling the user to select subcategory of the selected category of service based on his/her choice/interest through the interactive interface on the user device; accepting through user interface unit, the task details provided by the user through the interactive interface on the user device; determining the service location; booking instantly available service provider professional, if user confirms the same; posting the task to get quotes, if user confirms the same; optimizing, based on parametric inputs received from user, the list of the service provider professional from whom quotes are received; enabling the user to select service provider professional based on his/her choice/interest through the interactive interface on the user device; comparing the selected service provider professionals profiles by setting parameters provided by user to highlight the most appropriate service provider based on criteria provided by the user; allowing communication, upon acceptance of a service provider professional by the user, by providing communication details of service provider professional to the user; upending the user with the hire summery; directing the user for recompensation through external gateway interface unit; presenting the task summery to the selected service provider professional through the interactive interface on the user device; updating the task summery based on the action performed by the service provider professional; notifying the system controller, administrator, two nominees given by the user and to the police, if emergency alert is activated; enabling the user to rate and review the service provided by the service provider professional further to the completion of the task.
