Abstract

A display system and method of operating the system are described. A first projection screen can be moved during projection, and a digital projector is provided with a light valve to project images on the first projection screen, the display system or method being characterized in that it can determine the position of the projection screen; in that the image to be projected on the projection screen has less pixels than the number of pixels of the light valve of the projector; and in that the subset of pixels of the light valve used to project the image on the projection screen is function of the determined position of said projection screen.
