Abstract
This invention relates to system that facilitates cleaning thanks to inward opening window sash for sliding window systems intended for balconies and facades.
Description
INWARD OPENING SLIDING WINDOW DEVELOPED
FOR BALCONY AND FACADES
DESCRIPTION
This invention relates to system that facilitates cleaning thanks to inward opening window sash for sliding window systems intended for balconies and fagades. Today, various sliding window systems are in use at balconies and facades.
The sliding window systems are made of two components, one of which is a operable vent and the other is fixed fenestration. In conventional sliding window systems, the sliding window inside the frame profile moves the profile to the left or to the right for opening and closing. When operable vent is opened in these sliding window systems, it overlaps the fixed fenestration ; when closed, it does not reach the external surface of fixed fenestration. Surface of then operable vent that faces the exterior space poses a high risk when cleaning.
For balconies that are defined as French window; there is no space for people to stand in the outer space, or it exists but is very limited, which poses a high risk for at the time of cleaning. To eliminate this particular problem, opening balcony systems are preferred than sliding window systems at places with a French window. In inward opening systems, opening the operable vent requires a certain available space, and this is a problem for places with insufficient available space. While frequently opening and closing the operable vent in inward opening systems, users experience problems such as bumping into objects, moving per se due to wind or similar factors when left open.
Objective of the invention is to enable that sliding window moves to the left and right, which also enables the window to move to the left and right on the one hand, and to make sure that the window opens inward dependent from the sliding system thanks to inward opening vent placed inside the sliding wing.
Another objective of the invention is to enable that windows are easily cleaned in the case of French balconies thanks to inward opening operable vent.
The invention is shown in the attached figures,
Figure- 1 Appearance of the invention (when closed);
Figure -2 Appearance of the invention (sliding vent is in an open position, inward opening opening vent is in a closed position),
Figure-3 Appearance of the invention (when closed without window handle);
Figure -4 Appearance of the invention (sliding vent is in a closed position, inward opening operable vent is in an open position),
Figure -5 On a sectional picture Appearance of (2) rod clearances (accessory casing) upon sliding vent profile,
Numbers and meanings of the parts,
1. frame profile
2. sliding vent profile
2.1 rod clearances (accessory casing)
2.2 drawbar handle
3. inward opening operable vent profile
4. window
5. window handle
6. handle housing The invention is equipped with a sliding vent profile (2) that moves to the left and right inside the frame profile (1). The sliding vent profile (2), in turn, contains an inward opening operale vent profile (3). Invention is capable of moving to the left and right thanks to an inward opening operable vent profile (3) that is inward opening when sliding vent profile (2) moves to the left and right upon frame profile (1), along with the window (4) sliding vent profile (2) equipped on the inward opening operable vent (3); and when the sliding vent profile (2) is in a closed position, the window (4) equipped with the inward opening operable vent (3) is capable of inward opening as the inward opening operable vent profile (3) enables it. Interior surface of the sliding
vent profile (2) has rod clearances (accessory casing) (2.1) so as to place inward opening operable vent profile (3) inside the sliding vent profile (2).
When sliding vent profile (2) moves to the left and right upon frame profile (1), it is enabled that inward opening operable vent profile (3), and consequently the window (4) inside the inward opening operable vent profile (3) move to the left and right; likewise when sliding vent profile (2) is in closed position, inward opening operable vent profile (3) is capable of opening inward, which, in turn, enables the window (4) equipped with the inward operable vent profile (3) also opens inward.
The invention contains a detachable window handler (5) placed onto inward opening window profile (3) in addition to drawbar handle (2.2) upon the sliding window profile (2). As the window handler (5) is attachable and detachable optionally on the window housing (6) placed upon the inward opening operable vent profile (3), users attach the window handler (5) only when they need it, and open the operable vent profile (3) and consequently the window (4). Apart from these, the invention enables usage like those of sliding window systems as known today.
As this invention allows users to open the window (4) in an inwards position with the help of inward opening operable vent profile (3) on French balconies or at external medium that is separated by a window (4) that restrict mobility, the window (4) can be cleaned easily.
