Abstract

The inventive automatic tooth color determination system (1) is at its most basic comprising; - a light isolation apparatus (11) made of opaque material which surrounds the mouth to provide light insulation from the outside environment; - a mobile phone/tablet (13) with a camera or a dental camera (22); - a light reflecting surface (16) which prevents the light from hitting the tooth surface vertically, - a digital platform which has the processor that will perform the dental color determination operation comparatively, - a flash of mobile phone/tablet (14) with standart white color tones; - a connector sleeve (12) for connecting the mobile phone/tablet (13) with the light isolation apparatus (11).

Description

DENTAL COLOR DETERMINATION SYSTEM INTEGRATED TO MOBILE PHONES
AND TABLETS
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the isolation of mobile phones/tablets' cameras or dental cameras from the environment light, and the automatic determination of the tooth color at the same time using the mobile phone or tablet processor. Background Of The Invention
At present, when dental color is determined, dentists use their personal sense of vision which is error prone due to eye fatigue that occurs rapidly during the process. Different color tones can occur on a single tooth. In the systems used in the present, ambient lighting is performed by manual determination depending on the reflections, individual colors can not be achieved and different color tones must be determined manually.
In the present, devices are used too. The process is done by several color determination devices, though still color can wrongly be determined due to envirenmonet lighting' adverse affect.
With the system of the invention, the sensitivity has been increased to the highest point and the correct calculation of color tone has been revealed.
Summary Of The Invention
The object of the present invention is to cut off the light connection between the external environment and the mouth with an apparatus attached to the mobile phone or the tablet and, instead provide illumination for the inside of the mouth by means of internal lighting of mentioned mobile phone/tablet or with an optional lighting apparatus.
Another object of the present invention is to automatically determine the tooth color of the selected region simultaneously using the processors of mobile phones or tablets and report the result to the dentist. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
Figure 1 shows a perspective view of an automatic tooth color determination system integrated into a mobile phone or tablet, and prior to placement in relation to the patient's mouth during application to the subject.
Figure 2 is a perspective view of the light isolation apparatus for use in a mobile phone/tablet according to the present invention.
Figure 3 is a perspective view of the light isolation apparatus used in a mobile phone/ tablet according to the invention.
Fig. 4 is a perspective view of a dental camera integrated apparatus and tooth color determination system according to the invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
The inventive automatic tooth color determination system (1) is at its most basic comprising;
- a light isolation apparatus (11) made of opaque material which surrounds the mouth to provide light insulation from the outside environment;
- a mobile phone/tablet (13) with a camera or a dental camera (22);
- a light reflecting surface (16) which prevents the light from hitting the tooth surface vertically,
- a digital platform which has the processor that will perform the dental color determination operation comparatively,
- a flash of mobile phone/tablet (14) with standart white color tones;
- a connector sleeve (12) for connecting the mobile phone/tablet (13) with the light isolation apparatus (11). In Figure 1, the tooth color determination system (1) which prevents dentist to make a wrong choice during dental color determination process due to the eye exhaustion, the connector sleeve (12) which provides the connection between the light isolation apparatus (11) made of opaque material and the mobile phone/tablet (13) is given. As shown in FIG. 5, if the instrument used is a dental camera (22), the light isolation apparatus (11) made of opaque material should have a hollow structure to conform to the dental camera (22).
In order that the light isolation apparatus (11) does not change the color of the view of the tooth depending on the light, the color of the side of the light isolation apparatus (11) facing the tooth side must be in white or black colors.
The system used to illuminate the mouth region is the flash of mobile phone/tablet (14) or dental camera(22) LEDs that imitates the sunlight as a color in the vicinity of the color temperature of 5500K, which is the standard in tooth color determination. An opaque light reflecting surface (16) is optionally provided which allows the light to diffuse through the light isolation apparatus (11) wall in order to prevent flashing of the resulting light to the teeth directly. For the same purpose, the shining regions can be removed on the software with image processing.
With the system that automatically compares the received images to the reference tooth colors using the mobile phone/tablet (13) or computer (23) processor with the existing algorithm, possible errors of dentists are prevented.
In addition, during the color determination process of the dentists, the standard noon daylight is not always possible, there are mistakes in choosing color due to eye fatigue occurring within the seconds, and there are color differences between the actual tooth of the patient and the selected material for the dental prosthesis which adversely affect the patient's psychology. The system optionally has the ability to send patient's mouth images, which includes dental color information, to the dental technicians instantly via the internet. With this feature, the process can gain speed and errors can be reduced. Industrial application form of the invention
The automatic tooth color determination system (1), which serves the above-mentioned purposes, can be produced and used in any branch of the industry and is applicable to the industry.

Claims

1- An automatic tooth color determination system (1) according to the invention, comprising: a light isolation apparatus (11), which is integrated into the mobile phones/tablets (13) and / or existing dental cameras (22), which is made of opaque material and which isolates light from the outside environment;
a light reflecting surface(16), which inhibits light to hit the tooth surface vertically;
an application, which automatically perceives the apparatus and the tooth color, which can operate with the processor of the mobile phone/tablet (13) and / or the computer (23)and and which automatically detects the tooth color automatically according to the predetermined references.
A light isolation apparatus (11) of claim 1, characterized in that: has the feature to be white and / or black colors.
3- A tooth color determination system (1) according to claim 1, comprising a connector sleeve (12) which provides connection between the mobile phone/tablet (13) and the light isolating apparatus (11).
