Abstract

The present invention relates to the quality inspection system for remote air conditioner installation comprising an installation quality inspection device (1) of the installer, which is connected to an air conditioner, and a server (2) of a service provider, which is connected wirelessly to the installation quality inspection device (1 ). According to the present invention, the installation quality inspection device (1) receives the installation parameter data from the air conditioner and transmits it to the server (2) to let the server (2) compare the installation parameter data with the standard values and transmit the compared data back to the installation quality inspection device (1) in order to inform the quality of the air conditioner installation, in which the installation quality inspection device (1) can be connected to the indoor unit (3) or outdoor unit (4).

QUALITY INSPECTION SYSTEM FOR REMOTE AIR CONDITIONER
INSTALLATION
TECHNICAL FIELD
Engineering related to quality inspection system for remote air conditioner installation
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Nowadays, the popularity of the air conditioner installation is increasing each year. However, there are problems occurring regularly after the air conditioner is installed, for example, leaking pipe, which results in a drop in refrigerant and ineffective cooling of the air conditioner, or incorrect wiring on air conditioner, especially an inverter air conditioner, which can cause the air conditioner to malfunction. In the end, the air conditioner may not function and fails to cool which causes problems to the user.
Therefore, a skilled technician is required to install an air conditioner in order to eliminate such problems and to ensure that the installed air conditioner conforms to the manufacturer's standard. The technician is also responsible for checking whether or not the overall operating system works according to the manufacturer's design.
However, since the demand for the air conditioner installation is higher than the number of skilled technicians, the air conditioner installation could go wrong which can cause the air conditioner to malfunction, overwork, vent the heat inefficiently, have poor cooling efficiency, etc.
Based on the above, it is necessary to have a quality inspection system for remote air conditioner installation that can inform the parameter data of a faulty installation to the installer so that the installer can repair the faulty installation immediately and control the quality of the air conditioner installation according to the standard.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a quality inspection system for remote air conditioner installation comprising an installation quality inspection device of the installer, which is connected to an air conditioner, and a server of a service provider, which is connected wirelessly to the installation quality inspection device. According to the present invention, the installation quality inspection device receives the installation parameter data from the air conditioner and transmits it to the server to let the server compare the installation parameter data with the standard values and transmit the compared data back to the installation quality inspection device in order to inform the quality of the air conditioner installation. Said installation quality inspection device can be connected to an indoor unit or outdoor unit.
The object of the present invention is to provide a quality inspection system for remote air conditioner installation that offers technical advantages such as the capability to inform the parameter data of a faulty installation to the installer, allowing for immediate reparation of the faulty installation, and the controllability of the quality of the air conditioner installation according to the standard, thus assuring the user that the installed air conditioner will work efficiently according to the manufacturer's standard.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
Fig. shows the function of each component of the quality inspection system for remote air conditioner installation according to the present invention.
Fig. 2 shows the components of the installation quality inspection device according to the present invention.
Fig. 3 shows a connection between an indoor unit and an outdoor unit of a conventional air conditioner.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
Hereafter, the quality inspection system for remote air conditioner installation according to the present invention will be described in further detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
According to the present invention, the quality inspection system for remote air conditioner installation comprises an installation quality inspection device 1 of the installer, which is connected to an air conditioner, and a server 2 of a service provider, which is connected wirelessly to the installation quality inspection device 1. According to the present invention, the installation quality inspection device 1 receives the installation parameter data from the air conditioner and transmits it to the server 2 to let the server 2 compare the installation parameter data with the standard values and transmit the compared data back to the installation quality inspection device 1 in order to inform the quality of the air conditioner installation (as shown in Fig. 1).
The foregoing embodiment provides an advantage which is the capability to inform all parameter data for air conditioner installation to the server 2 to compare the installation parameter data with the standard values in the data base of the server 2. The installer then is promptly informed, by the compared data transmitted back to the installation quality inspection device 1, whether the air conditioner installation status is normal or abnormal, at which spot, enabling the installer to resolve the problems immediately.
According to the present invention, the installation quality inspection device 1 comprises a data communication and conversion kit 1.1, which is connected to an air conditioner, and a data transceiver 1.2, which is connected to the data communication and conversion kit 1.1, for receiving and transmitting the converted installation parameter data to the server 2 (as shown in Fig. 2).
According to the present invention, the data communication and conversion kit LI comprises a communication circuit 1.1.1 for receiving the analog installation parameter data from an air conditioner; a microcontroller 1.1.2, which is connected to the communication circuit 1.1.1 for receiving the installation parameter data from the communication circuit 1.1.1 and convert it into a digital format; and a power supply 1.1.3, which is connected to an air conditioner for supplying power to the communication circuit 1.1.1 and the microcontroller 1.1.2 (as shown in Fig. 2). According to the present invention, the installation parameter data from the air conditioner can be the amount of electricity of an indoor unit motor, the amount of electricity of an outdoor unit motor, the amount of electricity of a compressor, the voltage of an indoor unit, the voltage of an outdoor unit, the temperature of a refrigerant pipe, the degrees of swinging fins, the temperature of the refrigerant exiting the compressor's outlet pipe, the temperature in the middle region of a condenser, the relative humidity, the temperature of hot water, the temperature of cold water or the difference between the temperature entering and exiting a cooling coil.
According to the foregoing embodiment, the installation parameter data from the air conditioner received by the installation quality inspection device 1 is the installation parameter data for checking the operating status of each component of the air conditioner that is difficult to access. This way, the installer does not need to open the air conditioner to check the operating status.
According to the present invention, the data transceiver may be smart phone, tablet, portable computer, data transceiver with display monitor, data transceiver without display monitor, wired data transceiver or wireless data transceiver(as shown in Fig. 2).
According to the present invention, the installation quality inspection device 1 further comprises a connector 1.3, which serves as a connecting point between the power supply 1.1.3 and the air conditioner (as shown in Fig. 2).
According to the present invention, the data communication and conversion kit 1.1 is connected to the data transceiver 1.2 by a connecting wire 1.4 or via a wireless connection (as shown in Fig. 2).
According to the present invention, the installation quality inspection device 1 can be connected to the indoor unit 3 or the outdoor unit 4 as follows, which is different from the indoor unit and outdoor unit connection of a conventional air conditioner in that the installation quality inspection device 1 is not installed (as shown in Fig. 3-5).
In case where the device is connected to the indoor unit 3,
- line L and line N of the installation quality inspection device 1 are connected to line L and line N of the indoor unit 3
- line IN of the installation quality inspection device l is connected to line 2 of the indoor unit 3; arid
- line OUT of the installation quality inspection device 1 is connected to line 2 of the outdoor unit 4. In case where the device is connected to the outdoor unit 4,
- line L and line N of the installation quality inspection device 1 are connected to line L and line N of the outdoor unit 4
- line IN of the installation quality inspection device 1 is connected to line 2 of the indoor unit 3; and
- line OUT of the installation quality inspection device 1 is connected to line 2 of the outdoor unit 4.
According to the foregoing embodiment, the installation quality inspection device 1 which can be connected to the indoor unit 3 or the outdoor unit 4 is advantageous in that the installer is able to choose to install the installation quality inspection device 1 on either the indoor unit 3 or the outdoor unit 4, whichever unit can be installed conveniently and/or is located in a safer area. For example, if the outdoor unit 4 is located up high in an area that is difficult to access and unsafe for the installer or an area where the installation quality inspection device 1 cannot be installed conveniently, the installer may choose to install the installation quality inspection device 1 on the indoor unit 3 instead. In addition, the installation quality inspection device 1 is easy and convenient to use and reliable.
According to the present invention, the quality inspection system for remote air conditioner installation is used with the split type air conditioner.
The operation of the quality inspection system for remote air conditioner installation according to the present invention will now be described hereafter with reference to Fig.6. The operation of the quality inspection system for remote air conditioner installation according to the present invention comprises the step of: installing the installation quality inspection device 1 on the indoor unit 3 or the outdoor unit 4; receiving the installation parameter data from the air conditioner by the installation quality inspection device 1; converting the installation parameter data into a digital format; transmitting the converted data to the server 2; comparing the converted data with the standard values in the data base of the server 2; and transmitting the compared data back to the installation quality inspection device 1 of the installer.
The quality inspection system for remote air conditioner installation according to the present invention comprises components with unique features that offer the mentioned advantages. However, the quality inspection system for remote air conditioner installation according to the present invention is not limited to the said components with unique features. Modifications or changes may be made to any components of the quality inspection system for remote air conditioner installation of the present invention to create different embodiments that allow similar effects. Such modifications and changes are considered to be within the spirit and the scope of the present invention.

Claims

WHAT IS CLAIMED IS:
1. A quality inspection system for remote air conditioner installation comprising:
- an installation quality inspection device (1) of the installer, which is connected to the air conditioner; and
- a server (2) of the service provider, which is connected wirelessly to the installation quality inspection device (1)
characterized in that the installation quality inspection device (1) receives the installation parameter data from the air conditioner and transmits it to the server (2) to let the server (2) compare the installation parameter data with the standard values and transmit the compared data back to the installation quality inspection device (1) in order to inform the quality of the air conditioner installation.
2. The quality inspection system for remote air conditioner installation according to claim 1 , wherein the installation quality inspection device (1) comprises
- a data communication and conversion kit (1.1), which is connected to the air conditioner; and
- a data transceiver (1.2), which is connected to the data communication and conversion kit (1.1) for receiving and transmitting the converted installation parameter data to the server (2).
3. The quality inspection system for remote air conditioner installation according to claim 2, wherein the data communication and conversion kit (1.1) comprises
- a communication circuit (1.1.1) for receiving the analog installation parameter data from the air conditioner a microcontroller (1.1.2), which is connected to the communication circuit (1.1.1) for receiving the installation parameter data from the commumcation circuit (1.1.1) and convert the received installation parameter data into a digital format; and
- a power supply (1 .1 .3), which is connected to the air conditioner for supplying power to the communication circuit (1.1.1) and microcontroller (1.1.2).

The quality inspection system for remote air conditioner installation according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the installation parameter data from the air conditioner can be the amount of electricity of an indoor unit motor, the amount of electricity of an outdoor unit motor, the amount of electricity of a compressor, the voltage of an indoor unit, the voltage of an outdoor unit, the temperature of a refrigerant pipe, the degrees of swinging fins, the temperature of the ref igerant exiting the compressor's outlet pipe, the temperature in the middle region of a condenser, the relative humidity, the temperature of hot water, the temperature of cold water or the difference between the temperature entering and exiting a cooling coil.

The quality inspection system for remote air conditioner installation according to claim 2, wherein the data transceiver (1.2) can be smart phone, tablet, portable computer, data transceiver with display monitor, data transceiver without display monitor, wired data transceiver or wireless data transceiver.
6. The quality inspection system for remote air conditioner installation according to claim 1, wherein the installation quality inspection device (1) further comprising a connector
(1.3), which serves as a connecting point between the power supply (1.1.3) and the air conditioner.
7. The quality inspection system for remote air conditioner installation according to claim 2 or 3, wherein the data communication and conversion kit (1.1) is connected to the data transceiver (1.2) by a connecting wire (1.4) or via a wireless connection.
8. The quality inspection system for remote air conditioner installation according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the installation quality inspection device (1) can be connected to the indoor unit (3) or the outdoor unit (4).
9. The quality inspection system for remote air conditioner installation according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the installation quality inspection device (1) can be connected to the indoor unit (3) or the outdoor unit (4) as follows:
In case where the device is connected to the indoor unit (3),
- line L and line N of the installation quality inspection device (1) are connected to line L and line N of the indoor unit (3) - line IN of the installation quality inspection device (1 ) is connected to line 2 of the indoor unit (3); and line OUT of the installation quality inspection device (1) is connected to line 2 of the outdoor unit (4).
In case where the device is connected to the outdoor unit (4), line L and line N of the installation quality inspection device (1) are connected to line L and line N of the outdoor unit (4)
- line IN of the installation quality inspection device (1) is connected to line 2 of the indoor unit (3); and line OUT of the installation quality inspection device (1) is connected to line 2 of the outdoor unit (4).
10. The quality inspection system for remote air conditioner installation according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein said installation quality inspection system is used with the split type air conditioner.
