Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé de partage de bande passante. Le procédé peut comprendre l'obtention d'une liste de concentrateurs de communications voisins, les concentrateurs de communications voisins étant disposés dans des résidences voisines respectives. Les concentrateurs de communications voisins peuvent être couplés de façon communicative au premier concentrateur de communications à l'aide d'un premier réseau de données à large bande mis en service par un prestataire de services Internet (ISP), et les résidences voisines peuvent se trouver à l'intérieur d'une même région géographique prédéterminée que la première résidence ou dans la limite d'une distance temporelle prédéterminée sur un réseau de données par rapport à la première résidence. Le procédé détermine si un besoin de données dépasse une bande passante disponible pour le premier concentrateur de communications et présente une demande de données à un concentrateur de communications voisin. La demande correspond au besoin de données. Le procédé reçoit ensuite des données, répondant à la demande, en provenance du concentrateur de communications voisin.
