Abstract

動物の体温測定システム(1)は、動物の体内に埋め込まれ、周囲温度と関連するセンス値を送信する温度センサ(100)と、前記動物の目的部位の温度を温度センサ(100)とは異なる温度計で実測して得た基準体温値(500)を用いて、温度センサ(100)から受信したセンス値を換算温度値に換算するデータ処理装置としてのパソコン(200)と、を備える。パソコン(200)は、温度センサ(100)が前記動物の体内に埋め込まれた状態で前記動物の前記目的部位の温度を実測して得た温度値を表す基準体温値(500)を取得し、基準体温値(500)と、基準体温値(500)の測定時点付近で温度センサ(100)により測定された第1センス値とに基づき換算パラメータを算出し、温度センサ(100)から第2センス値を受信し、前記換算パラメータを用いて、前記第2センス値を換算温度値に換算してもよい。

Description

動物の体温測定システム及び動物の体調管理システム
 本発明は動物の体温測定システム及び動物の体調管理システムに関し、特には、動物の体内に埋め込まれた温度センサを用いて当該動物の体温を測定する技術に関する。
 動物の健康状態や発情、分娩等を管理するにあたって、体温は重要な観測パラメータである。このため、動物体内の適切な部位に体温計を埋め込み、そのデータを無線で取得するシステムの開発が進められている。
 例えば、特許文献1には、動物の体内に体温計を埋め込み、そのデータを無線で外部のサーバへ送信して保存するとともに、体温の異常等を検知したときにシグナルを発して迅速かつきめ細やかな管理を行う動物の遠隔診断システムが開示されている。体温計を動物の体内に埋め込むことで、外気温の影響を受けにくくするとともに、動物同士の接触等による破損を防ぐことができる。
 体温計は、正確な計測結果を出力するよう、通常、製造時点で厳密な校正が行われている。
 また、特許文献2には、無線タグを有する貼り付け型の体温計の製造において、恒温槽中に配置した体温計の読み取り値を無線で取得し、校正データを求めて当該体温計の無線タグに書き込む技術が開示されている。

 動物の体温測定では、管理目的に応じた部位の体温(一例として、深部体温である直腸温度)が測定される。動物の体の深部に埋め込む体温計として、センス値が単体表示されるものでは意味がないため、実際的には、電池駆動でセンス値を無線送信する体温計が用いられる。しかしながら、電池駆動の体温計では、深部への高侵襲的な処置となる電池交換手術が高頻度に発生し得る。
 また、多くの動物を集合的に飼育する局面では、多数の体温計が同時に用いられることから、個々の体温計の初期コストを抑制することも望まれる。しかし、安価なセンサを用いた体温計の精度は経年変化により劣化しやすいという問題もある。
 そこで、本発明は、動物の体内に埋め込まれた温度センサを用いた体温測定システムであって、動物への侵襲性が低くかつ初期コストを抑えた体温測定システムを提供する。
 上記目的を達成するために、本発明の一態様に係る動物の体温測定システムは、動物の体内に埋め込まれ、周囲温度と関連するセンス値を送信する温度センサと、前記動物の目的部位の温度を前記温度センサとは異なる温度計で実測して得た基準体温値を用いて、前記温度センサから受信したセンス値を換算温度値に換算するデータ処理装置と、を備える。
 この構成によれば、前記基準体温値を用いて、前記温度センサのセンス値と前記動物の前記目的部位の体温との対応関係をあらかじめ求めておくことで、前記センス値から当該対応関係に従って換算した前記換算温度値で、前記目的部位の体温を近似することができる。
 前記目的部位が、例えば直腸など、頻回に体温を測定することが困難な深部であっても、前記温度センサのセンス値から、前記目的部位の体温の近似としての換算温度値が得られる。前記温度センサは、例えば、前記動物の首や背の皮下など、前記動物に対する侵襲が比較的小さい部位に埋め込めばよい。これにより、前記動物への低侵襲性に優れた体温測定システムが得られる。
 管理目的に応じて必要となるのは前記目的部位の体温であり、前記温度センサが埋め込まれた部位の体温を知る必要は特にはない。そのため、前記温度センサの個体差に起因するセンス値のばらつきは、センス値から換算温度値への換算においてキャンセルされればよく、前記温度センサをあらかじめ校正しておく必要がない。また、前記温度センサは個体差を吸収するための機能(例えば、校正データの記憶や演算の機能)を内蔵している必要もない。従って、前記体温測定システムは、校正に係るコストを省いた温度センサを用いて構成できる。これにより、初期コストを抑えた体温測定システムが得られる。
 また、前記データ処理装置は、前記動物の体外に設置されていてもよい。
 この構成によれば、センス値から換算温度値への換算に係る一切のデータ処理を、前記データ処理装置によって、前記動物の体外で実行することができる。前記温度センサは、校正のための機能を有さず、センス値の送信だけを行えばよいので、消費電力の低減により電池が長寿命化され、電池交換手術の頻度が低減される。これにより、前記動物への低侵襲性に優れた体温測定システムが得られる。
 また、前記データ処理装置は、前記温度センサが前記動物の体内に埋め込まれた状態で前記動物の前記目的部位の温度を実測して得た温度値を表す基準体温値を取得し、前記基準体温値と、前記基準体温値の測定時点付近で前記温度センサにより測定された第1センス値とに基づき換算パラメータを算出し、前記温度センサから第2センス値を受信し、前記換算パラメータを用いて、前記第2センス値を換算温度値に換算してもよい。
 この構成によれば、前記温度センサのセンス値と前記動物の前記目的部位の体温との対応関係を、前記換算パラメータとしてあらかじめ求めておき、当該換算パラメータを用いて、前記温度センサのセンス値を換算温度値へ換算することができる。
 また、前記データ処理装置は、前記第1センス値から前記基準体温値を減じた差を前記換算パラメータとして算出し、前記第2センス値から前記換算パラメータを減じることにより前記換算温度値を算出してもよい。
 温度センサのセンス値Sは、温度Tの多項式a+ak-1k-1+…+aT+aで近似される。ここで、温度センサの材料物性などに主に依存する係数a(k≧1)は設計段階で高精度に決定できるのに対し、温度センサの形状寸法などに主に依存する定数aには個体差が生じやすい。体温測定システムでは、定数aは、センス値と基準体温値との差に含まれることになる。そのため、前記構成によれば、定数aが含まれるセンス値と基準体温値との差を換算パラメータとすることで、体温値の換算と同時に温度センサの個体差を吸収し、少ないデータ量の換算パラメータで、高精度の換算を行うことができる。
 また、前記データ処理装置は、前記動物の前記目的部位の温度を再度実測して得た温度値を表す新たな基準体温値を取得し、前記新たな基準体温値と、前記新たな基準体温値の測定時点付近で前記温度センサにより測定された第3センス値とに基づき新たな換算パラメータを算出し、前記温度センサから第4センス値を受信し、前記新たな換算パラメータを用いて、前記第4センス値を換算温度値に換算してもよい。
 この構成によれば、前記温度センサの経年変化が想定される場合であっても、新たな換算パラメータを求めて以降の換算に用いることにより、換算の精度を維持することができる。
 また、前記データ処理装置は、前記新たな換算パラメータを算出する前に換算された換算温度値を、前記新たな換算パラメータを用いて補正してもよい。
 この構成によれば、過去の換算温度値をより高精度に求め直すことで、前記動物の過去の管理状態を遡って確認することができる。
 また、本発明の一態様に係る動物の体調管理システムは、前述した動物の体温測定システムで得た換算温度値、並びに、気象に関する時系列情報を用いて、前記動物の体調を管理する。
 この構成によれば、体温データに加えて、例えば、気温、日照、降水、気圧、風速、月齢などの気象に関する時系列情報を勘案することにより、前記動物の健康状態を多角的に把握し、より効率的な体調管理及び飼育環境を実現できる。
 本発明に係る動物の体温測定システムによれば、動物の体内に埋め込まれた温度センサを用いた体温測定システムであって、動物への侵襲性が低くかつ初期コストを抑えた体温測定システム、及び当該体温測定システムを用いた動物の体調管理システムが得られる。

 以下、本発明の実施の形態について、図面を用いて詳細に説明する。なお、以下で説明する実施の形態は、いずれも包括的又は具体的な例を示すものである。以下の実施の形態で示される数値、形状、材料、構成要素、構成要素の配置および接続形態などは、一例であり、本発明を限定する主旨ではない。以下の実施の形態における構成要素のうち、独立請求項に記載されていない構成要素については、任意の構成要素として説明される。また、図面に示される構成要素の大きさ又は大きさの比は、必ずしも厳密ではない。
 (実施の形態1)
 実施の形態1に係る動物の体温測定システム(以下、単に体温測定システムと言う)は、動物の体内に埋め込まれた温度センサを用いて、当該動物の体温を測定するシステムである。
 図1は、実施の形態1に係る体温測定システムの機能的な構成の一例を示すブロック図である。図1に示されるように、体温測定システム1は、複数の温度センサ100と、パソコン200とを備える。複数の温度センサ100の各々と、パソコン200とは、無線で接続されている。ここで、パソコン200は、データ処理装置の一例である。
 温度センサ100は、動物の体内に埋め込まれ、周囲温度(つまり、当該動物の温度センサ100が埋め込まれた部位の体温)と関連するセンス値を、無線でパソコン200へ送信する。
 パソコン200には、基準体温値500が入力される。基準体温値500は、前記動物の目的部位の温度を前記温度センサとは異なる温度計で実測して得た体温値である。基準体温値500は、管理目的に応じて定められる目的部位の体温であり、一例として、深部体温である直腸温度であってもよい。基準体温値500を測定するための温度計は、特には限定されないが、一例として、デジタル式の電子体温計(図示せず)であってもよい。また、基準体温値500を測定するための温度計を、体温測定システム1に含めてもよい。
 パソコン200は、基準体温値500を用いて、温度センサ100から受信したセンス値を、前記目的部位の体温を近似する換算温度値に換算する。当該換算の詳細については後述する。
 図2は、温度センサ100の機能的な構成の一例を示すブロック図である。図2に示されるように、温度センサ100は、アンテナ110、通信・制御回路120、測定回路130、電池140、及び筐体150を備える。
 通信・制御回路120は、送受信部121、CPU(Central Processing Unit)122、RAM(Random Access Memory)123、ROM(Read Only Memory)124を有している。
 CPU122に接続されたROM124には、送受信部121を通してセンス値を送信するための送受信制御プログラムが書き込まれている。RAM123は送受信制御プログラムが動作するためのメモリ領域である。
 送受信部121は、例えば、BLE(Bluetooth(登録商標) Low Energy)などの通信方式を用いてパソコン200との無線接続制御およびセンス値の送信を行う電子回路であり、アンテナ110を用いて無線信号(無線周波数の電磁波)を送受する。
 測定回路130は、センサ131、ADC(Analog Digital Converter)132を有している。
 センサ131は、例えば、サーミスタと抵抗とを直列に接続してなる直列回路で構成される(図示せず)。当該直列回路に電圧が印加されると、サーミスタと抵抗との接続点に周囲温度と関連する分圧電圧が生じる。
 ADC132は、前記分圧電圧を離散化して得たデジタル値(以下、センス値)を通信・制御回路120へ供給する。
 筐体150は、アンテナ110、通信・制御回路120、測定回路130、電池140を収納する容器であり、動物の体内での長期利用のため、防水・防湿性を有し、外装を生体適合材料で被覆している。
 ここで、温度センサ100のばらつきと、従来の校正について説明する。
 図3は、センス値Sと温度Tとの関係の一例を示すグラフである。センス値Sは、ADC132から出力されるデジタル値であり、温度Tは、センサ131の温度である。図3に示されるように、センス値Sは、使用温度範囲において、温度Tの多項式a+ak-1k-1+…+aT+aで近似される。
 温度センサの材料物性などに主に依存する係数a(k≧1)は設計段階で高精度に決定できるのに対し、温度センサの形状寸法などに主に依存する定数aには個体差が生じやすい。つまり、センス値Sと温度Tとの関係は、温度センサごとに、図3の実線のカーブを中心として、点線のカーブで示される範囲でばらつく。
 従来の校正の考え方では、例えば、温度センサの製造時に、温度センサごとに定数aを特定し、当該温度センサに記録しておくことで、このような個体差を吸収している。しかしながら、定数aを特定し記録する製造工程のため、温度センサの初期コストは大きくなる。また、記録された定数aを参照してセンス値に反映する演算のため、温度センサの消費電力が増え、電池の長寿命化が阻害される。
 この問題に対し、本発明者らは、管理目的に応じて必要となるのは目的部位の体温であり、温度センサ100が埋め込まれた部位の体温を知る必要は特にはないことに着目する。つまり、温度センサ100の個体差に起因するセンス値のばらつきは、センス値から換算温度値への換算においてキャンセルされればよく、温度センサ100をあらかじめ校正しておく必要がない。また、温度センサ100は個体差を吸収するための機能(例えば、校正データの記憶や演算の機能)を内蔵している必要もない。
 そこで、このような着目に基づき、パソコン200を次のように構成する。
 図4は、パソコン200の機能的な構成の一例を示すブロック図である。図4に示されるように、パソコン200は、CPU210、RAM220、ROM230、SSD(Solid State Drive)240、通信アダプタ250、ユーザI/F(Interface)デバイス260、バス280、及び電源290を備える。
 CPU210、RAM220、ROM230、SSD240、通信アダプタ250、及びユーザI/Fデバイス260は、バス280で互いに接続され、電源290から供給される電力で動作する。
 CPU210に接続されたROM230には、基準体温値及びセンス値を取得し、基準体温値を用いてセンス値を換算温度値に換算する体温換算プログラムが書き込まれている。RAM220は体温換算プログラムが動作するためのメモリ領域である。
 SSD240は、換算パラメータ及び体温値を記録するための不揮発性のメモリ領域である。換算パラメータ及び体温値の詳細については後述する。
 通信アダプタ250は、温度センサ100との無線接続制御およびセンス値の受信を行う電子回路であり、アンテナ251を用いて無線信号(無線周波数の電磁波)を送受する。
 ユーザI/Fデバイスは、パソコン200がユーザに情報を提示し、またパソコン200がユーザから情報を取得するためのデバイスであり、例えば、ディスプレイ、タッチパネル、キーボード、マウス、マイク、スピーカなどが含まれてもよい。
 ここで、SSD240に記録される換算パラメータ及び体温値について説明する。
 図5Aは、換算パラメータテーブル241の一例を示す図である。換算パラメータテーブル241は、例えばSSD240に設けられ、各々がセンサID、換算パラメータ、及び基準体温値測定日時を含む複数のエントリを保持している。
 センサIDは、温度センサ100を識別するコードである。換算パラメータは、センサIDで識別される温度センサのセンス値を換算温度値に換算する際に用いられるパラメータである。基準体温値測定日時は、換算パラメータの算出に用いた基準体温値が測定された日時である。換算パラメータの数値単位は特には限定されないが、一例として、摂氏温度であってもよい。
 図5Bは、体温テーブル242の一例を示す図である。体温テーブル242は、例えばSSD240に設けられ、各々がセンサID、センス値、受信日時、換算温度値を含む複数のエントリを保持している。
 センサIDは、温度センサ100を識別するコードである。センス値は、センサIDで識別される温度センサから受信したセンス値である。受信日時は、センス値が受信された日時である。換算温度値は、センス値から換算された換算温度値である。センス値及び換算温度値の数値単位は特には限定されないが、一例として、摂氏温度であってもよい。
 次に、上述のように構成された温度センサ100及びパソコン200を備える体温測定システム1の動作について説明する。
 図6は、体温測定システム1の動作の一例を示すフローチャートである。図6に示されるように、温度センサ100は、電源が投入されると(S101)、センス値を取得し、取得したセンス値をパソコン200へ送信する動作(S102、S103)を、所定時間のスリープを行いながら(S104)、繰り返し実行する。
 作業者は、温度センサ100とは異なる体温計を用いて、動物の目的部位の体温を測定し、測定結果である基準体温値及び当該基準体温値の測定日時をパソコン200へ入力する。作業者は、例えば、直腸体温計で動物の直腸温度を測定し、測定結果をパソコン200へ入力してもよい。このとき、温度センサ100は、前記動物の体内に既に埋め込まれているものとする。
 パソコン200は、作業者から基準体温値及び当該基準体温値の測定日時を取得する(S112)。また、基準体温値の取得と並行して、前記動物の体内に埋め込まれた温度センサ100から、第1センス値を受信する(S113)。
 そして、基準体温値と、当該基準体温値が測定された時点付近で温度センサ100により測定された第1センス値とに基づき換算パラメータを算出し、当該基準体温値の測定日時とともに、換算パラメータテーブル241に記録する(S114)。なお、時点付近とは、前記動物の体温変化が十分に小さい時間範囲内を意味し、例えば、基準体温値の測定日時の前後1時間ずつの時間範囲としてもよい。また、温度センサ100は、測定したセンス値を直ちに送信するものとし、パソコン200では、センス値の受信時刻をセンス値の測定時刻として取り扱ってもよい。
 換算パラメータは、第1センス値から基準体温値を減じた差であってもよい。一例として、第1センス値で表される温度が基準体温値より1.2℃高い場合、当該差である+1.2が換算パラメータとして、換算パラメータテーブル241に記録される(例えば、図5Aのエントリ2412)。当該換算パラメータには、温度センサ100が埋め込まれた部位の体温と目的部位の体温との差、及び温度センサ100の個体差に起因するセンス値のばらつき(例えば、図3の定数a)の、2つの調整要因が含まれている。より一般的に言えば、当該換算パラメータは、温度センサ100の校正されていないセンス値の、目的部位の体温に対する差を表している。
 続いて、パソコン200は、温度センサ100から、第2センス値を受信すると(S121)、換算パラメータテーブル241から換算パラメータを参照し、当該換算パラメータを用いて前記第2センス値を換算温度値に換算する(S122)。
 当該換算温度値は、前記第2センス値から前記換算パラメータを減じることにより算出してもよい。一例として、第2センス値が39.5、換算パラメータが+1.2であれば、換算温度値は、39.5-(+1.2)=38.3と算出される。算出された換算温度値は、体温テーブル242に記録され(例えば、図5Bのエントリ2423)、ディスプレイにも表示される(S124)。作業者は、当該表示により、前記動物の体温値をモニタする。
 さらに、パソコン200は、換算温度値が、前記動物の平熱を表す範囲から逸脱することによって異常を検知し(S131でYES)、例えば、スピーカの鳴動やディスプレイの点滅などにより、アラートを発報する(S133)。作業者は、当該アラートを認知することにより、前記動物の状況確認を含む必要な処置を行う。
 以上説明した動作により、体温測定システム1では、管理目的に応じた目的部位が、例えば直腸など、頻回に体温を測定することが困難な深部であっても、温度センサ100のセンス値から、前記目的部位の体温の近似としての換算温度値が得られる。温度センサ100は、例えば、前記動物の首や背の皮下など、前記動物に対する侵襲が比較的小さい部位に埋め込めばよい。これにより、前記動物への低侵襲性に優れた体温測定システム1が得られる。
 また、温度センサ100の個体差に起因するセンス値のばらつきは、センス値から換算温度値への換算においてキャンセルされるので、温度センサ100をあらかじめ校正しておく必要がない。また、温度センサ100は個体差を吸収するための機能(例えば、校正データの記憶や演算の機能)を内蔵している必要もない。従って、体温測定システム1は、校正に係るコストを省いた温度センサ100を用いて構成できる。これにより、初期コストを抑えた体温測定システム1が得られる。
 また、温度センサ100が校正のための演算を内部的に行わないため、消費電力が抑制され、電池の長寿命化が果たされる。侵襲的な処置となる電池交換手術が低頻度に抑えられることで、前記動物への低侵襲性に一層優れた体温測定システム1が得られる。
 なお、温度センサ100の経年変化が想定される場合、新たな換算パラメータを求め直して、以降の換算に用いてもよい。具体的には、図6のフローチャートに示される動作を再実行してもよい。以下では、区別のため、図6の第1センス値及び第2センス値を、それぞれ第3センス値及び第4センス値と読み替えて、再実行における動作を説明する。
 図6の動作を再実行したとき、例えば、第3センス値で表される温度が新たな基準体温値より0.8℃低い場合、当該差である-0.8が新たな換算パラメータとして、換算パラメータテーブル241に記録される(再実行におけるS111~S114、図5Aのエントリ2411)。
 続いて、パソコン200は、温度センサ100から受信した第4センス値を当該新たな換算パラメータを用いて換算温度値に換算する。一例として、第4センス値が37.5、換算パラメータが-0.8であれば、換算温度値は、37.5-(-0.8)=38.3と算出される。算出された換算温度値は、体温テーブル242に記録され(例えば、図5Bのエントリ2421)、ディスプレイにも表示される(再実行におけるS121~S124)。
 このような動作により、温度センサ100の経年変化が想定される場合であっても、新たな換算パラメータを求めて以降の換算に用いることにより、換算の精度を維持することができる。
 また、新たな換算パラメータが、古い換算パラメータから所定の閾値(例えば±1.0)を越えて変化した場合、当該変化を、古い換算パラメータからの漸次変化であるとみなし、古い換算パラメータによって換算された換算温度値を補正してもよい。
 具体的に、図5Aの例では、新たな換算パラメータ-0.8は古い換算パラメータ+1.2から-2.0変化している。そのため、図5Bのエントリ2422に記録されている換算温度値38.9が補正される。当該換算温度値38.9は、センス値40.1から古い換算バラメータ+1.2を用いて換算されているが、換算パラメータの変化を漸次変化とみなした場合、当該換算の時点での換算パラメータは+0.2である。そのため、換算温度値38.9は、換算温度値39.9(=40.1-(+0.2))に補正される。
 これにより、補正後の換算温度値39.9を用いて、前記動物の過去の管理状態を遡って確認することができる。
 (実施の形態2)
 実施の形態2に係る動物の体調管理システム(以下、単に体調管理システム)は、実施の形態1の体温測定システムで得た換算温度値、並びに、気象に関する時系列情報を用いて、前記動物の体調を管理するシステムである。
 図7は、実施の形態2に係る体調管理システムの機能的な構成の一例を示すブロック図である。図7に示されるように、体調管理システム2は、温度センサ100、パソコン200、携帯端末300、サーバ400、ゲートウェイ610、及び温湿度計710を備える。
 体調管理システム2では、サーバ400が、実施の形態1で説明したパソコン200に対応するデータ処理装置として機能し、温度センサ100とサーバ400とで体温測定システムが構成される。パソコン200及び携帯端末300は、作業者が体調管理システム2にアクセスするためのユーザI/Fデバイスとして利用される。
 図8は、サーバ400の機能的な構成の一例を示すブロック図である。図8に示されるように、サーバ400は、CPU410、RAM420、ROM430、SSD440、通信アダプタ450、バス480、及び電源490を備える。
 CPU410、RAM420、ROM430、SSD440、通信アダプタ450、バス480、及び電源490は、前述したパソコン200のCPU210、RAM220、ROM230、SSD240、通信アダプタ250、バス280、及び電源290にそれぞれ対応するため、詳細な説明は省略する。
 図9は、体調管理システム2の動作の一例を示すフローチャートである。図9のフローチャートは、図6のフローチャートと比べて、ゲートウェイ610が追加される点、及びパソコン200が実行していた動作の大部分がサーバ400によって実行される点が異なる。以下、図6と同等のステップ、及び動作の主体のみが異なるステップについては、同一の符号を付して適宜説明を省略し、図6と異なる点について主に説明する。
 パソコン200又は携帯端末300は、作業者から基準体温値を受け付け(S111)、受け付けられた基準体温値は、インターネット600を介してサーバ400で取得される(S112)。基準体温値を測定するための温度計は、特には限定されないが、一例として、デジタル式の電子体温計(図示せず)であってもよい。また、基準体温値を測定するための温度計を、体調管理システム2に含めてもよい。
 温度センサ100が送信したセンス値は、ゲートウェイ610によって中継され(S131)、インターネット600を介してサーバ400で受信される(S113、S121)。
 サーバ400は、換算パラメータの算出及びセンス値から換算温度値への換算を行い(S112~S122)、換算温度値を、インターネット600を介してパソコン200及び携帯端末300へ送信し(S123)、パソコン200及び携帯端末300において換算温度値が表示される(S124)。
 サーバ400は、異常を検知すると(S131でYES)、アラート情報を、インターネット600を介してパソコン200及び携帯端末300へ送信し(S132)、パソコン200及び携帯端末300においてアラートが発報される(S133)。
 以上説明した動作により、体調管理システム2においても、体温測定システム1と同様、動物への侵襲性が低くかつ初期コストを抑えた体温測定システム、及び当体温応測定システムを用いた動物の体調管理システムが得られる。
 体調管理システム2においては、温度センサ100からのセンス値は、パソコン200で直接受信するのではなく、ゲートウェイ610で受信し、インターネット600を介してサーバ400へと伝送している。
 これにより、動物が移動してパソコン200からの距離が離れるなどの場合でも、温度センサ100からのセンス値は、複数のゲートウェイ610のいずれかを通してサーバ400へ送られることになり、センス値を安定にサーバ400へと伝送することができる。動物の移動範囲をカバーするようにゲートウェイ610を配置してもよい。
 また、体調管理システム2においては飼育場内のゲートウェイ610付近に温湿度計710を設置し、その計測値もゲートウェイ610およびインターネット600を介してサーバ400へと伝送している。
 さらに、体調管理システム2においては、飼育場付近の気象データ(気温、日照、降水、気圧、風速、月齢など)を気象情報サービス700から入手し、サーバ400へと伝送している。
 これらにより、動物の健康状態などに影響する多くの環境データを用いて、動物の状態を管理し、判断することが可能となる。また、クラウドデータを活用して健康状態を多角的に把握でき、より効率的な飼育環境を実現できる。
 以上、本発明の実施の形態に係る動物の体温測定システム及び体調管理システムについて説明したが、本発明は、個々の実施の形態には限定されない。本発明の趣旨を逸脱しない限り、当業者が思いつく各種変形を本実施の形態に施したものや、異なる実施の形態における構成要素を組み合わせて構築される形態も、本発明の一つ又は複数の態様の範囲内に含まれてもよい。
 本発明は、例えば動物の体温測定システムや体調管理システムに広く利用できる。

Claims (7)

  1.  動物の体内に埋め込まれ、周囲温度と関連するセンス値を送信する温度センサと、
     前記動物の目的部位の温度を前記温度センサとは異なる温度計で実測して得た基準体温値を用いて、前記温度センサから受信したセンス値を換算温度値に換算するデータ処理装置と、
     を備える動物の体温測定システム。
  2.  前記データ処理装置は、前記動物の体外に設置されている、
     請求項1に記載の動物の体温測定システム。
  3.  前記データ処理装置は、
     前記温度センサが前記動物の体内に埋め込まれた状態で前記動物の前記目的部位の温度を実測して得た温度値を表す基準体温値を取得し、
     前記基準体温値と、前記基準体温値の測定時点付近で前記温度センサにより測定された第1センス値とに基づき換算パラメータを算出し、
     前記温度センサから第2センス値を受信し、前記換算パラメータを用いて、前記第2センス値を換算温度値に換算する、
     請求項1又は2に記載の動物の体温測定システム。
  4.  前記データ処理装置は、
     前記第1センス値から前記基準体温値を減じた差を前記換算パラメータとして算出し、
     前記第2センス値から前記換算パラメータを減じることにより前記換算温度値を算出する、
     請求項1から3の何れか1項に記載の動物の体温測定システム。
  5.  前記データ処理装置は、
     前記動物の前記目的部位の温度を再度実測して得た温度値を表す新たな基準体温値を取得し、
     前記新たな基準体温値と、前記新たな基準体温値の測定時点付近で前記温度センサにより測定された第3センス値とに基づき新たな換算パラメータを算出し、
     前記温度センサから第4センス値を受信し、前記新たな換算パラメータを用いて、前記第4センス値を換算温度値に換算する、
     請求項1から4の何れか1項に記載の動物の体温測定システム。
  6.  前記データ処理装置は、
     前記新たな換算パラメータを算出する前に換算された換算温度値を、前記新たな換算パラメータを用いて補正する、
     請求項5に記載の動物の体温測定システム。
  7.  請求項1から6の何れか1項に記載の動物の体温測定システムで得た換算温度値、並びに、気象に関する時系列情報を用いて、前記動物の体調を管理する、
     動物の体調管理システム。
