Abstract

Positioning aid for use in connection with a mandrel tool that is mounted on a mobile installation trolley for handling of building blocks (4), where the installation plate (1) of the mandrel tool is preferably shaped as a cross and having a mandrel (3) located in its center and extending in a right angle therefrom, which mandrel is adapted to engage with a bore (5) in the building block (4), said aid comprising a device that by means of a number of, preferably two, light sources (2) projects a figure, preferably a cross, on to the building block, by which means the figure forms a clearly visible aim for the mandrel, whereby it is easier and faster to manoeuver the installation trolley to get the mandrel to engage with the bore.

Description

Device for assisting in positioni ng of a mobile installation trolley and use thereof
The invention relates to a device for assisting i n positioni ng of a mobile installation trolley (Fig. 3) in connection with coupling with and hand ling of a block, which device comprises a combi nation of a tool that is interchangeably mounted on the lifting device of the installation trolley and comprises an installation plate that is equipped with a system of light sources, which in the form of a light cross projects the centre onto the block that should be mounted with the i nstallation trolley, which system of light sources are adjustably mounted on said installation plate and are mutually shifted with an angle (here called the light ang le) i n the plane of the i nstallation plate, and they each emit a small line shaped light cone (light line) that is emitted in a fan shape from the light source.
From several technical fields it is known to use projection of laser light on measuring equipment and workpieces to optimize the precision of the work process, and among these are transportation, survey, rotating saws, drills (also for mining), etc.
As an example, US-patent application No. US 2012/0060383 A1 describes a controlling system for fork lift trucks using visible light from several light sources which are adjustably mounted on a back plate between the forks to form visual i ndications consisting of projected light in the form of lines, dots, a cross or other figures to assist the operator in assessing the location of the forks in relation to the distance to the pallet racking and the height of the fork openings in the pallets. However, this technique has the drawback that, with said design, is not usable for projecting of a precise aiming cross for a mandrel on an element to be handled, as such a cross will only be precise in one exact distance from the mandrel.
The object of this invention is therefore to provide a device usi ng the projecti ng pri nciple to also form a (light) aiming cross precisely off the point of the mandrel regardless of the distance to the element that is to be hand led with this mandrel.
The aim is to improve the mandrel tool for the mobile installation trolley that is described in DK-patent No. 178134 B1 , to improve the efficiency of this mandrel tool and thereby of the mobile installation trolley as a whole.
The object of the invention is achieved by means of a device of the type mentioned i n the preamble of claim 1 and which is characterized in, that all of the light sources are mounted around a mandrel that extends in a right angle from the centre of the installation plate and that the centre of the light line is in the direction towards the centre of the mandrel i n such a way that one of the legs in said fan shape appears as a light line exactly along the length of the mandrel and beyond the free end thereof.
In this way, these mutually crossing light cones project a light cross that marks an aimi ng poi nt for the mandrel upon the block to be handled, with the effect that it is easier to find the bore with the mandrel without the need of letti ng go of the trolley to check where the mandrel is going and this contributes to time savings with following enhanced building speed.
Claims 2, 3 and 4 describes further useful embodiments.
Claim 5 describes a use of the invention.
The invention will be explained in further detail in the followi ng with reference to the drawings, i n which:
Fig. 1 shows the design of the device including profile cross with
the mandrel and the location of light sources,
Fig. 2 shows the use of the device, where the light cross is centred i n the bore in a building block and Fig. 3 shows the mobile i nstallation trolley known from DK-patent No. 178134 B1 in a side view.
In Fig. 1 is shown a sketch of the construction of the mandrel tool which comprises an installation plate that is designed as a profile cross 1 with a mandrel/plug 3 which is located centrally and extends in a right angle from this cross 2. The adjustable light sources 2 that are shown here in a preferred embodiment with two light sources are mounted on the profile cross 1 i n approximately the same distance from the centre of the mandrel (the distance of each light source to the centre is not important for the function, and, therefore, they can be different in other embodiments) and can be mutually angularly shifted with an angle (light angle) that i n the shown embodiment is 90° (but the angles can also differ as long as the light angles cross each other in one poi nt), and can be seen in Fig. 1 and 2 as two rod-shaped objects poi nting towards the free end of the mandrel 3 and each transmits a fan shaped light beam i n a flat plan, and the distribution thereof is decided by the aperture in the light source, and these two "light planes" are, for example as shown in Fig. 1 , mutually shifted approximately 90° and appear both as a small line of light when they hit a reflecting surface. One of the legs in each "light plane" shows up as a line on the profi le cross 1 i n a direction from the light source 2 to the foot of the mandrel 3, where this is placed on the profile cross and extends out of the mandrel 3 in exactly the same direction. The design that is described here with the two fan shaped line shaped light beams whose planes are shifted mutually in an angle of approximately 90° and where both of the fan shaped li ne shaped light beams have a plane in exactly the same direction as the mandrel 3, will form a light cross which marks a fixed poi nt for the mandrel 3 where the light cross hits a reflecti ng material. Fig. 2 shows the use of the improved mandrel tool according to the present invention, in which it can be seen that the profile cross 1 with mandrel 3 and light sources 2 has formed a light cross in a bore 5 in a plate shaped building block 4, to show the light cross according to the invention used as a an aiming device for the mandrel 3, so that it is possible for the operator to adjust his driving already when far from the building block 4 that must be handled, so that the element 4 can be engaged exactly where one wants the mandrel 3 to engage and without it being necessary to let go of the trolley to see where the mandrel 3 engages .
Fig. 3 shows a sketch of the mobile installation trolley that is known from the Danish patent No. DK178134 B1 and which forms the background for the invention as described here, in a side view, and where the mandrel tool is used i n such a way that the mandrel 3 holds the buildi ng block 4.
