Le procédé consiste à : enregistrer une relation de correspondance entre une valeur seuil de vitesse de déplacement prédéfinie du véhicule d'un utilisateur et une mise à l'échelle d'une carte de navigation ; surveiller la vitesse de déplacement du véhicule de l'utilisateur ; déterminer si la vitesse de déplacement du véhicule de l'utilisateur atteint la valeur seuil de vitesse de déplacement prédéfinie du véhicule de l'utilisateur ; si ce n'est pas le cas, maintenir la situation d'origine ; et si c'est le cas, mettre à l'échelle la carte de navigation selon un rapport correspondant à la valeur seuil de vitesse de déplacement prédéfinie du véhicule de l'utilisateur. Par une mise à l'échelle automatique du rapport de taille d'une carte de navigation en fonction de la vitesse d'un véhicule, un utilisateur peut visualiser clairement un itinéraire, l'invention permet d'améliorer la précision de navigation, d'éviter tout risque de sécurité dû au fait que l'utilisateur met manuellement à l'échelle une carte et que son attention est distraite, et d'améliorer l'expérience d'utilisation de la navigation pour un utilisateur.
