本申请要求享有2016年7月29日提交的名称为“液晶显示器及其驱动方法”的中国专利申请CN201610614119.7的优先权,其全部内容通过引用并入本文中。
本发明涉及显示技术领域,具体的说,涉及一种液晶显示器及其驱动方法。
随着显示技术的发展,薄膜晶体管液晶显示屏(Thin Film Transistor Liquid Crystal Display,简称TFT-LCD)已经成为最为常见的显示装置。
其中,串扰(Crosstalk)是液晶显示器的显示不良中比较常见的一种现象,具体是指某一区域的画面会影响到其他区域的画面,而造成显示效果不良的现象。根据发生串扰的不同位置,可以分为垂直串扰(Vertical Crosstalk)及水平串扰(Horizontal Crosstalk)。
导致不同类型的串扰的原因也有所不同,通常情况下,驱动方式的不同将会导致不同宏观表现的串扰。例如在帧反转(Rate Convertion)的驱动方式下可能会出现线状的水平串扰,而在列反转(Column Convertion)和点反转(Dot Convertion)的驱动方式下,水平串扰的现象就会相对轻微。但是,无论哪种驱动方式,产生串扰现象的真正原因都是一致的,即源于数据线(Data line)与公共电极线(Common Electrode)之间的电容耦合作用。
例如,在水平串扰的产生过程中,当数据线的电位发生变化时,便会经由数据线与公共电极线之间的寄生电容CDC,在公共电极线上形成一个瞬间的电位跳变。此时,若公共电极线的信号延迟较为严重或电压驱动能力不足,则其电位就无法很快恢复到预设定的电位,这个电位跳变会通过储存电容Cst的耦合作用拉低像素内的跨压,导致像素亮度降低而形成H-Crosstalk。
在这里,以垂直排列(Vertical Alignment,简称VA)显示模式,采用行反转(Row Convertion)的驱动方式为例进行说明。如图1和图2所示,数据线Data_A的驱动电压始终为128灰阶电位,显示灰色;数据线Data_B的驱动电压有2/3的时间为128灰阶电
位,显示灰色,1/3的时间为255灰阶电位,显示白色。Data_A和Data_B的电位周期性反转,导致公共电极线COM的电位也发生相应的变化,其导致的结果是画面整体偏暗。但255灰阶电位的横向区域则会由于公共电极线COM的电位变化更大,而出现颜色更暗的水平区块,即水平串扰现象。通常情况下,采用列反转或者点反转的驱动方式可以改善水平串扰,但改变驱动方式的解决方案容易受到制程变化带来的影响,或者受到其他原因的影响,不能被有效的消除水平串扰现象。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于提供一种液晶显示器及其驱动方法,能够有效消除水平串扰的不良现象。
本发明提供一种液晶显示器的驱动方法,所述液晶显示器中的液晶面板沿横向分为多个区域,每个所述区域中包括多条数据线;
每个所述区域中,m条数据线的电位为正极性,n条数据线的电位为负极性;
当公共电极线的电位偏移为负极性时,m>n;
当公共电极线的电位偏移为正极性时,m<n。
进一步的是,每个所述区域中包括极性相反部分和极性相同部分;
所述极性相反部分中,相邻数据线的电位极性相反;
所述极性相同部分中,所有数据线的电位极性相同。
优选的是,每个所述区域包含的数据线的数量相同。
优选的是,所述区域的数量在4个至12个之间。
本发明还提供一种液晶显示器,包括液晶面板、电位检测器和数据驱动器;
所述液晶面板沿横向分为多个区域,每个所述区域中包括多条数据线;
所述电位检测器用于检测所述液晶面板中的公共电极线的电位偏移量;
所述数据驱动器用于驱动每个所述区域中的数据线,且在每个所述区域中,m条数据线的电位为正极性,n条数据线的电位为负极性;当公共电极线的偏移为负极性时,m>n;当公共电极线的偏移为正极性时,m<n。
进一步的是,每个所述区域中包括极性相反部分和极性相同部分;

优选的是,每个所述区域包含的数据线的数量相同。

本发明带来了以下有益效果:本发明提供的液晶显示器及其驱动方法中,将液晶显示器划分为多个区域,每个区域可以进行独立驱动。每个区域中有m条数据线的电位为正极性,n条数据线的电位为负极性,且可以根据公共电极线的电位偏移情况调节m和n的数量。当公共电极线的电位偏移为负极性时,调节为m>n,使正极性的数据线多于负极性的数据线;当公共电极线的电位偏移为正极性时,调节为m<n,使负极性的数据线多于正极性的数据线。另外,还可以根据公共电极线的电位偏移的大小,调节m与n的差,也就是调节两种电位极性的数据线的数量之差,以准确的抵消公共电极线的电位偏移。因此,采用本发明提供的技术方案,通过调节不同电位极性的数据线的数量,能够准确的抵消公共电极线的电位偏移,从而能够有效消除水平串扰的不良现象。

本发明实施例提供一种液晶显示器及其驱动方法,能够准确的抵消公共电极线的电位偏移,从而有效消除水平串扰的不良现象。
实施例一:
本发明实施例提供的液晶显示器的驱动方法中,液晶显示器中的液晶面板沿横向分为多个区域,每个区域中包括多条数据线。
如图3所示,每个区域中,m列子像素的数据信号为正极性,n列子像素的数据信号为负极性。也就是,m条数据线的电位为正极性,n条数据线的电位为负极性。
本实施例中,可以根据公共电极线的电位偏移情况调节m和n的数量。当公共电极线的电位偏移为负极性时,调节为m>n,使正极性的数据线多于负极性的数据线。当公共电极线的电位偏移为正极性时,调节为m<n,使负极性的数据线多于正极性的数据线。
另外,还可以根据公共电极线的电位偏移的大小,调节m与n的差,也就是调节两种电位极性的数据线的数量之差,这样可以准确的抵消公共电极线的电位偏移。因此,采用本发明实施例提供的驱动方法,通过调节不同电位极性的数据线的数量,能够准确的抵消公共电极线的电位偏移,从而能够有效消除水平串扰的不良现象。
进一步的是,每个区域中包括极性相反部分和极性相同部分。其中,极性相反部分中,相邻的数据线的电位极性相反;极性相同部分中,所有数据线的电位极性相同。
从图3中可以看出,该区域中正极性的数据线比负极性的数据线多两条,即m-n=2。其中,最右侧的两条数据线属于极性相同部分,都为正极性。除最右侧的两条数据线以外,其余的数据线属于极性相反部分,任意两条相邻的数据线的电位极性相反。这样,极性相反部分的数据线的电位极性分布与列反转驱动方式相一致,使得整个液晶显示器中的电位能够趋于均衡。
作为一个优选方案,每个区域包含的数据线的数量相同,使每个区域中的极性相同部分能够均匀分布在整个液晶显示器中,整个液晶显示器中的电位分布也就更为均衡。
进一步的是,所分的区域的数量应当是数据线总数的约数,当然每个区域中包含的数据线的数量也是数据线总数的约数。区域的数量通常可以设置在在4个至12个之间,例如在分辨率为3840×2160的液晶显示器中,公有3840列像素单元,在分为12个区域的
情况下,每个区域中包含320列像素单元,即包含960条数据线。
本发明实施例提供的液晶显示器的驱动方法中,将液晶显示器划分为多个区域,每个区域可以进行独立驱动。每个区域中有m条数据线的电位为正极性,n条数据线的电位为负极性,且可以根据公共电极线的电位偏移情况调节m和n的数量。当公共电极线的电位偏移为负极性时,调节为m>n,使正极性的数据线多于负极性的数据线;当公共电极线的电位偏移为正极性时,调节为m<n,使负极性的数据线多于正极性的数据线。
另外,还可以根据公共电极线的电位偏移的大小,调节m与n的差,也就是调节两种电位极性的数据线的数量之差,以准确的抵消公共电极线的电位偏移。因此,采用本发明实施例提供的驱动方法,通过调节不同电位极性的数据线的数量,能够准确的抵消公共电极线的电位偏移,从而能够有效消除水平串扰的不良现象。
实施例二:
本发明实施例提供一种液晶显示器,包括液晶面板、电位检测器和数据驱动器。液晶面板沿横向分为多个区域,每个区域中包括多条数据线。电位检测器用于检测液晶面板中的公共电极线的电位偏移量。
数据驱动器用于驱动每个区域中的数据线,如图3所示,在每个区域中,m列子像素的数据信号为正极性,n列子像素的数据信号为负极性。也就是,m条数据线的电位为正极性,n条数据线的电位为负极性。
本实施例中,可以根据电位检测器所检测出的公共电极线的电位偏移情况调节m和n的数量。当公共电极线的电位偏移为负极性时,调节为m>n,使正极性的数据线多于负极性的数据线。当公共电极线的电位偏移为正极性时,调节为m<n,使负极性的数据线多于正极性的数据线。
另外,还可以根据电位检测器所检测出的公共电极线的电位偏移的大小,调节m与n的差,也就是调节两种电位极性的数据线的数量之差,这样可以准确的抵消公共电极线的电位偏移。因此,采用本发明实施例提供的驱动方法,通过调节不同电位极性的数据线的数量,能够准确的抵消公共电极线的电位偏移,从而能够有效消除水平串扰的不良现象。
进一步的是,每个区域中包括极性相反部分和极性相同部分。其中,极性相反部分中,相邻的数据线的电位极性相反;极性相同部分中,所有数据线的电位极性相同。
从图3中可以看出,该区域中正极性的数据线比负极性的数据线多两条,即m-n=2。其中,最右侧的两条数据线属于极性相同部分,都为正极性。除最右侧的两条数据线以外,其余的数据线属于极性相反部分,任意两条相邻的数据线的电位极性相反。这样,极性相
反部分的数据线的电位极性分布与列反转驱动方式相一致,使得整个液晶显示器中的电位能够趋于均衡。
作为一个优选方案,每个区域包含的数据线的数量相同,使每个区域中的极性相同部分能够均匀分布在整个液晶显示器中,整个液晶显示器中的电位分布也就更为均衡。
进一步的是,所分的区域的数量应当是数据线总数的约数,当然每个区域中包含的数据线的数量也是数据线总数的约数。区域的数量通常可以设置在在4个至12个之间,例如在分辨率为3840×2160的液晶显示器中,公有3840列像素单元,在分为12个区域的情况下,每个区域中包含320列像素单元,即包含960条数据线。
本实施例中,液晶面板包括阵列基板、彩膜基板,以及填充在阵列基板与彩膜基板之间的液晶层。其中,阵列基板通过四次掩膜板构图工艺制成,阵列基板的部分膜层结构如图4所示,从下至上依次为第一金属层1、氮化硅层(SiNx)2、非晶硅层(a-Si)3、半导体层4和第二金属层5。
通过四次掩膜板构图工艺制成的阵列基板由于其特殊的膜层结构,使得位于第一金属层1的公共电极线在不同极性的数据信号的影响下,发生的电位偏移程度不同。
当位于第二金属层5的数据线为正电位时,半导体层4中感应产生的自由电子会向半导体层4的顶部移动,并且由于半导体层4直接接触第二金属层5,这些自由电子还会进入第二金属层5;当数据线为负电位时,半导体层4中感应产生的自由电子会向半导体层4的底部移动,但由于氮化硅层2和非晶硅层3的绝缘作用,这些电子只能集中在半导体层4的底部。这就导致了公共电极线在不同极性的数据信号的影响下,发生不同程度的电位偏移。
本发明实施例提供的液晶显示器,能够通过调节不同电位极性的数据线的数量,准确的抵消公共电极线的电位偏移,从而能够有效消除水平串扰的不良现象,并且特别适用于通过四次掩膜板构图工艺制成的阵列基板所具有的膜层结构。
当然,本发明实施例提供的技术方案,也适用于在通过五次或六次掩膜板构图工艺制成的阵列基板,及其所构成的液晶显示器中。
虽然本发明所公开的实施方式如上,但所述的内容只是为了便于理解本发明而采用的实施方式,并非用以限定本发明。任何本发明所属技术领域内的技术人员,在不脱离本发明所公开的精神和范围的前提下,可以在实施的形式上及细节上作任何的修改与变化,但本发明的专利保护范围,仍须以所附的权利要求书所界定的范围为准。
Claims (10)
- 一种液晶显示器的驱动方法,所述液晶显示器中的液晶面板沿横向分为多个区域,每个所述区域中包括多条数据线;每个所述区域中,m条数据线的电位为正极性,n条数据线的电位为负极性;当公共电极线的电位偏移为负极性时,m>n;当公共电极线的电位偏移为正极性时,m<n。
- 根据权利要求1所述的驱动方法,其中,每个所述区域中包括极性相反部分和极性相同部分;所述极性相反部分中,相邻数据线的电位极性相反;所述极性相同部分中,所有数据线的电位极性相同。
- 根据权利要求1所述的驱动方法,其中,每个所述区域包含的数据线的数量相同。
- 根据权利要求2所述的驱动方法,其中,所述区域的数量在4个至12个之间。
- 一种液晶显示器,包括液晶面板、电位检测器和数据驱动器;所述液晶面板沿横向分为多个区域,每个所述区域中包括多条数据线;所述电位检测器用于检测所述液晶面板中的公共电极线的电位偏移量;所述数据驱动器用于驱动每个所述区域中的数据线,且在每个所述区域中,m条数据线的电位为正极性,n条数据线的电位为负极性;当公共电极线的偏移为负极性时,m>n;当公共电极线的偏移为正极性时,m<n。
- 根据权利要求5所述的液晶显示器,其中,每个所述区域中包括极性相反部分和极性相同部分;所述极性相反部分中,相邻数据线的电位极性相反;所述极性相同部分中,所有数据线的电位极性相同。
- 根据权利要求5所述的液晶显示器,其中,每个所述区域包含的数据线的数量相同。
- 根据权利要求7所述的液晶显示器,其中,所述区域的数量在4个至12个之间。
- 根据权利要求5所述的液晶显示器,其中,所述液晶面板包括阵列基板、彩膜基板,以及填充在所述阵列基板与所述彩膜基板之间的液晶层。
- 根据权利要求9所述的液晶显示器,其中,所述阵列基板通过四次掩膜板构图工艺制成。
