Abstract
A method for recognising a song name by listening to a melody and a recognition system in the field of the Internet. The method comprises: recording song information (S101); reading a melody input by a user (S102); recognising song information containing the melody input by the user (S103); and pushing the song information to the user (S104). By means of the method and system, song information containing a music melody is recognised according to the melody, so that a user can find information about the melody conveniently and quickly, thereby improving the song searching experience of the user.
