Abstract

Preparation of Non-Ionic Surfactant Vesicles and VariantsA method of preparing non-ionic surfactant vesicles (NISV) includes providing a material comprising an aqueous liquid having one or more non-ionic surfactants(s), dissolved or suspended within the liquid. The material is heated within a reaction vessel using microwave irradiation in order to form NISV. The mixture is allowed to cool before addition of one or more bioactive agents. A formulation comprising non-ionic surfactant vesicles that include one or more bioactive agents is also provided.
