Abstract
Coupling means for coupling optical conductors, comprising: a first part comprising a first connector; a second part comprising a second connector; and a third part comprising a first receiving space suitable for at least partially receiving the first connector and a second receiving space suitable for at least partially receiving the second connector, characterized in that: the first part also comprises: a first connecting member suitable for connection to the first connector; and a second connecting member suitable for connection to the tube of the first optical conductor, wherein the first connecting member and the second connecting member engage each other in the mounted state such that the first connector is connected to the first optical conductor; the second part also comprises: a first connecting member suitable for connection to the second connector; and a second connecting member suitable for connection to the tube of the second optical conductor, wherein the first connecting member and the second connecting member engage each other in the mounted state such that the second connector is connected to the second optical conductor. A first connecting member and a second connecting member preferably engage each other in mounted state such that they are connected rotatably to each other. The respective connector can thus rotate relative to the respective optical conductor and in this way be correctly oriented relative to the other connector and the third part. Also method for coupling such conductors.
