Description
SUCTION SCRAPER DEVICE FOR PET HAIR REMOVER
Field of Invention
The present invention relates generally to a suction scraper device and rubber pad. More specifically, the present invention is used for scraping, lifting and disposing embedded pet-hairs from carpets, area rugs, furniture and surfaces.
Background of the Invention
Generally, pet-hairs in domestic animals such as dogs and cats are a challenging problem for most householders, since cats and dogs always shed their hair everywhere in the household that is hard to control. Also pets normally rest or sleep where they feel comfortable on carpets, area rugs, furniture or other surfaces, hereinafter referred to "carpets and surfaces". Specially, when pets sleep over and over the same spot, pet-hairs get deeply embedded on said areas. Once pet- hairs are embedded on "carpets and surfaces", it is extremely difficult for the pet-hairs to be removed, and this remains in the base of "carpets and surfaces" for days, weeks, months, or years, until removed by heavy duty cleaning machines or other similar heavy duty methods. In most instances, extensive periods of accumulated pet-hairs in "carpets and surfaces" cause extreme health hazards, and various allergic reactions to householders. It can also spread bad odors inside homes, particularly when embedded pet-hairs get wet, or during damp weather conditions, also when pet-hairs remain in the "carpets and surfaces" for long periods of time.
Descriptions of Prior Art
In general, removing pet-hairs from "carpets and surfaces" by using household electrical vacuum cleaners are well known in prior art. Other methods are rubber gloves, flexible nylon bristles structured like combs, steel like combs, sticky rollers, and lint removers are well known in prior art. Hereinafter we will refer to these prior art pet-hair removers as "traditional cleaners".
US patent No 8763190 filed on June 11, 2010 by Tylor Christian ROSS about a combination sticky roller and brush for dislodging and collecting debris from a plurality of different types of surfaces. This system includes a sticky roller with a coverlid that once the debris is uprooted from a surface, the user is able to roll the sticky roller over the surface to pick up and retain the debris.
US patent No 7305731 filed on March 09, 2005 by Brandon Graham about a Carpet brush for hair removal, which fabric bnish comprising a brush head having a top portion, and a bottom portion. The bottom portion of the brush head has a plurality of projections extending downwardly therefrom. The plurality of projections comprise at least one row of aligned projections having a non-circular face extending opposite to the top portion of the brush head. The brush is disclosed for removing pet hairs from fabrics.
The main problems of these "traditional cleaners" are effectiveness. In ίβοζ these traditional cleaners may not remove deeply embedded pet hair from "carpets and surfaces". These prior art
traditional cleaners are generally suitable for cleaning pet hairs from the surface, while leaving most of the embedded pet hairs in the "carpets and surfaces".
Another problem is everyday vacuuming with traditional electrical vacuum cleaners may damage "carpets and surfaces", especially expensive area rugs, quality materials on furniture, and other similar surfaces, which leads to costly replacements.
Nonetheless, it is previously recognized that an effective way to remove embedded pet-hairs from "carpets and surfaces" is the use of rubber surface elements, similar to rubber gloves. The rubber gloves provide an effective grip to raise and collect pet- hairs from "carpets and surfaces". In addition to rubber gloves, there are number of other rubber products also discovered in prior art.
Generally, use of rubber gloves, and other rubber products in prior art encounters various problems, since these devices are top short, and also difficult to be used in a comfortable standing position. People who need to clean "carpets and surfaces" may need to bend down or kneel down. This creates numerous difficulties, injuries, or worsening of joints and back problems.
Another problem is that those with arthritis or carpal tunnel syndrome may not have the ability to use prior art rubber pet-hair removers. Since all of them are short handled, or there is no handle at all to hold comfortably and provide sufficient pressure to remove embedded pet-hairs from "carpets and surfaces".
Further problem of traditional cleaners, except electrical vacuum cleaners, do not contain a pet- hair collectable system, such as bag or chamber to collect and dispose collected pet-hairs while cleaning "carpets and surfaces". In most cases people need to collect pet-hairs to one spot, and later use a vacuum cleaner, or manually collect, and dispose pet-hairs.
Summery of the Invention
The present invention solves the above described problems, therefore, it is an object of the present invention to provide a suction scraper device member, having a telescopic handle bar member, attached with a slightly domed scraper member, extracting chamber member, and replaceable rubber sheet member. The telescopic handle bar member comprises of a telescopic adjustable system that has the ability to be adjusted accordingly, held comfortably, and to easily scrape and remove embedded pet-hairs from "carpets and surfaces".
It is another object of the present invention to provide, a telescopic handle bar member having a top end and bottom end; the bottom end of the telescopic handle bar member mounted to the slightly domed scraper member, and the top end is enclosed with a cover element.
It is the further object of the present invention to provide, a slightly domed scraper member with an attachable and detachable rubber sheet member that can attach and detach from the slightly domed scraper member. The rubber sheet member provides a grip to lift embedded pet-hairs from "carpets and surfaces".
It is another object of the present invention to provide a rubber sheet member that comprises of one or more attachment elements, preferably "VELCRO" Trademark element on each end of the rubber sheet member, wherein said attachment elements have the ability to be attached with the "VELCRO" element on the slightly domed scraper member. The rubber sheet member is a replaceable component that can be replaced when said rubber sheet member gets wasted or damaged.
It is still another object of the present invention to provide a method to firmly cover the bottom portion of the slightly domed scraper member, wherein the scraper edge and the rubber sheet are both firmly connected. This provides a direct pressure and with an easy stroke to "carpets and surfaces" to raise and collect embedded pet-hairs.
Still another object of the present invention is to provide an extracting chamber member, attached alongside of the handle bar member, one end with a suction opening to extract collected pet-hairs, and other end with an open outlet to dispose collected pet hairs.
In accordance with the present invention, the extracting chamber member, open inlet is connected to the slightly domed scraper member, wherein the open inlet is able to suck pet-hairs through the extracting chamber member, to the outlet opening, wherein when regular household vacuum cleaner upholstery tube is connected to the outlet opening the pet hair to flow through the extracting chamber member.
The "Suction Scraper Device for Pet-Hair Remover" is described in detail under detailed descriptions. It is important to note that the "Suction Scraper Device for Pet-Hair Remover*' will be designed in various ways, placing said described components in different locations of the "Suction Scraper Device for Pet-Hair Remover" without deviation from either me spirit or the scope of the present invention.
