Abstract

Disclosed are an offshore photovoltaic generation facility and a method for installing the same. The method for installing an offshore photovoltaic generation facility comprises the steps of: (a) assembling a pair of girder members having U-shaped sections such that a closed space is formed therein, filling the closed space with a floating material, thereby fabricating a first girder, and arranging a plurality of first girders in predetermined positions; (b) coupling a plurality of second girders at a predetermined interval to the upper portions of the first girders perpendicularly to the first girders; (c) installing an upper structure on the upper portion of a lower structure, to which the first and second girders are coupled, in a position corresponding to the position in which a photovoltaic module panel is to be arranged; (d) installing a photovoltaic module panel on the upper structure; and (e) lifting at least one of the lower and upper structures with a crane and lowering the same such that the same floats offshore. According to the method for installing an offshore photovoltaic generation facility, a photovoltaic generation structure is fabricated integrally without using any conventional floating bodies used for other purposes, but using a dedicated floating body designed and optimized for a photovoltaic generation facility as a part of the structure, and the same is lifted as a whole and floated offshore, thereby making it possible to fabricate an optimized photovoltaic generation facility inexpensively and to quickly install the same.
