Abstract

A liquefied petroleum gas tank or pressure vessel comprises a tank body (1), a handle (2), and a base (3) supporting the tank body which has been designed not only to bear the weight of the tank and the gas contained in it but also to serve as a protection for the tank against bumps during transport and while in use. The base supporting the tank body is joined to and tightly fastened to the bottom of the tank merely by the strength of the material without any welding of any metal parts at all.
