Abstract
The invention can be used to purify gas flows from impurities in a wide range of concentrations, as well as to separate gas mixtures into individual components in oil, gas, chemical and other industries. A method of absorption gas sweetening from undesirable impurities has been proposed, comprising countercurrent contact of the gas to be purified and regenerated absorbent in the mass transfer column with resulting purified gas and saturated absorbent, and a column for its implementation, packed contact device, which is separated in height into independent mass transfer sections with countercurrent or crosscurrent movement of the purified gas and regenerated absorbent, at that the flow of purified gas is sequentially passed upwards through all independent mass transfer sections of the mass transfer column, regenerated absorbent flow is introduced into the upper part of each independent mass transfer section, and saturated absorbent flow is withdrawn from the lower part of each independent mass transfer section.
