Abstract
A device for protecting mobile phones comprises a frame fitting the phone. The device comprises a balance mechanism disposed at the back side of the frame and a protection mechanism disposed inside the frame. The balance mechanism comprises a number of rotational fans (2) disposed at the back side of the frame. The protection mechanism comprises a control circuitry disposed inside the frame, a gyroscope sensor (4) for monitoring an acceleration and a horizontal tilt position of the mobile phone, an air cushion (5) disposed at the central potion of the back side of the frame, a parachute (6), and an inflator (7) for triggering the air cushion and the parachute. The device has a sensible structure, keeping the phone as balance as possible during falling, having the air cushion and a parachute buffer device, such that the mobile phone can land softly to protect the phone effectively.
Description
DEVICE FOR PROTECTING MOBILE PHONES FROM DAMAGE DURING DROPPING
Field of Invention
[0001] The present invention relates to a device for protecting mobile phones, in particular a device for protecting mobile phones from damage during dropping.
Background of Invention
[0002] Smart phones are very costly now, but many users drop and break their phones carelessly, resulting in the phone not being able to continue to used, thereby causing commercial loss and inconvenience in communication. Existing mobile protection covers can reduce scratch marks caused by the phone impacting or scratching against other foreign objects, but provide minimal protection against damages made to the phone during dropping. Therefore, a solution that protect mobile phones as much as possible and prevent mobile phones from breaking during dropping is highly desired.
Summary of Invention
[0003] The technical problem to be solved by the present invention is: to overcome the aforementioned technical problem, a device for protecting mobile phones from damage during dropping is provided. The device has a sensible structure, and can keep the balance of the phone
while the phone is dropping. The device also comprises an air cushion and a parachute buffer device, thereby achieving soft landing of the phone during dropping, protecting the phone effectively.
[0004] The technical solution used to solve the technical problem of the present invention is: a device for protecting mobile phones from damage during dropping, comprising a frame fitting said phone, said device comprises a balance mechanism disposed at a back side of said frame, and comprises a protection mechanism disposed inside said frame; said balance mechanism comprises a number of rotational fans disposed at said back side of said frame; said protection mechanism comprises control circuitry disposed inside said frame, a gyroscope sensor for monitoring an acceleration and a horizontal tilt position of said mobile phone, an air cushion disposed at a central portion of said back side of said frame, a parachute, and an inflator for triggering said air cushion and said parachute.
[0005] Furthermore, the device comprises an annular groove disposed inside said frame; said inflator being linked to said air cushion through a first electromagnetic valve, said first electromagnetic valve being electrically connected to said control circuitry; said annular groove having a tapered mouth structure.

[0007] In a preferred embodiment, a flip cover hatch door is disposed at a top of said parachute hatch, said hatch door being hinged to said parachute hatch through a torsion spring.
[0008] Furthermore, said rotational fans comprise several hemispherical installation holes disposed at said back side of said frame, a mechanical fan disposed inside said installation hole, a shaft for freely adjusting a direction of rotation of said mechanical fan, and a motor for driving said shaft to rotate; a pair of curved rings hinged to each other is disposed at an outer frame of said mechanical fan, a slot is disposed inside said installation hole for inserting said curved rings, said curved rings slide inside said slot; a back of said curved rings is urged towards said shaft; said motor is electrically connected to said control circuitry.

Detailed description of preferred embodiments
[0018] The present invention is now explained in more detail in this section along with the drawings. These drawings are all simplified schematic diagrams just for illustrating the basic structure of the present invention, therefore only the structure related to the present invention are shown.
[0019] In a device for protecting mobile phones from damage during dropping as shown in Figure 1. The device comprises a frame fitting the mobile phone. A balance mechanism is disposed at a back side of the frame. A protection mechanism is disposed inside the frame; the balance mechanism comprises a number of rotational fans disposed at the back side of the frame; the protection mechanism comprises control circuitry disposed inside the frame, a gyroscope sensor 4 for monitoring an acceleration and horizontal tilt position of the mobile phone, an air cushion 5 disposed at a central portion of the back side of the frame, a parachute 6 and an inflator 7 for triggering the air cushion 5 and the parachute 6. Battery 8 is disposed inside the frame for providing electrical power to the control circuitry. The inflator 7 is filled with liquefied gas. The control circuitry is a PLC circuit board.

A parachute hatch 52 is disposed inside the frame for mounting the parachute 6; the parachute hatch 52 is disposed at a central portion of the annular groove 51; a rope of the parachute 6 is fixed to an inner wall of the parachute hatch 52; a bottom of the parachute hatch 52 is linked to the inflator 7 through a second electromagnetic valve, the second electromagnetic valve is electrically connected to the control circuitry; the parachute hatch 52 has a widened mouth structure. A flip cover hatch door 53 is disposed at a top of the parachute hatch 52, the hatch door 53 is hinged to the parachute hatch 52 through a torsion spring.
[0021] In a device for protecting mobile phones from damage during dropping is shown in Figure 3, the rotational fans comprise several hemispherical installation holes 1 disposed at a back side of the frame, a mechanical fan 2 disposed inside the installation hole 1, a shaft 3 for freely adjusting a direction of rotation of the mechanical fan 2, and a motor for driving the shaft 3 to rotate; a pair of curved rings 21 hinged to each other is disposed at a frame of the mechanical fan 2, a slot 11 is disposed inside the installation hole 1 for inserting the curved ring 21, the curved ring 21 slides inside the slot 11; a back of said curved rings is urged towards said shaft; said motor is electrically connected to said control circuitry.
[0022] In the present invention, a device for protecting mobile phones from damage during dropping is provided. The device has a sensible structure, monitoring a speed of falling and a horizontal tilt position of the mobile phone in real time through the gyroscope sensor, and sends a signal to the control circuitry to control the direction of the mechanical fans, such that the mobile phone is kept as close to horizontal as possible during dropping. When the back side of the frame is facing the ground during dropping, said gyroscope sensor sends a signal to the control circuitry to trigger the air cushion inside the frame to open; when the back side of the frame is facing upwards during falling, the gyroscope sensor sends a signal to the control
circuitry to trigger the parachute inside the frame to open, such that the mobile phone can land softly to protect the phone effectively.

Those skilled in the art can make various changes and alterations based on the above description without departing from the scope of the technical concept of the present invention. The technical scope of the present invention is not limited to the specification, but is determined based on the scope of the claims.
Claims
1. A device for protecting mobile phones from damage during dropping, comprising a frame fitting said phone, characterized in that:
said device comprises a balance mechanism disposed at a back side of said frame, and comprises a protection mechanism disposed inside said frame;
said balance mechanism comprises a number of rotational fans disposed at said back side of said frame;
said protection mechanism comprises control circuitry disposed inside said frame, a gyroscope sensor for monitoring an acceleration and a horizontal tilt position of said mobile phone, an air cushion disposed at a central portion of said back side of said frame, a parachute, and an inflator for triggering said air cushion and said parachute.
2. The device according to claim 1, further comprising an annular groove disposed inside said frame; said inflator being linked to said air cushion through a first electromagnetic valve, said first electromagnetic valve being electrically connected to said control circuitry; said annular groove having a tapered mouth structure.
3. The device according to claim 1, said device further comprising a parachute hatch disposed inside said frame for mounting said parachute, said parachute hatch being disposed at a central portion of said annular groove; a rope of said parachute is fixed to an inside wall of said parachute hatch; a bottom of said parachute hatch is linked to said inflator through a second electromagnetic valve, said second electromagnetic valve being electrically connected to said
control circuitry; said parachute hatch has an widened mouth structure.
4. The device according to claim 3, characterized in that a flip cover hatch door is disposed at a top of said parachute hatch, said hatch door being hinged to said parachute hatch through a torsion spring.

The device according to claim 1, characterized in that said rotational fans comprise several hemispherical installation holes disposed at said back side of said frame, a mechanical fan disposed inside said installation hole, a shaft for freely adjusting a direction of rotation of said mechanical fan, and a motor for driving said shaft to rotate; a pair of curved rings hinged to each other is disposed at an outer frame of said mechanical fan, a slot is disposed inside said installation hole for inserting said curved rings, said curved rings slide inside said slot; a back of said curved rings being urged towards said shaft; said motor being electrically connected to said control circuitry.
6. The device according to claim 1, characterized in that a battery is disposed in side said frame for providing electrical power to said control circuitry.
7. The device according to claim 1, characterized in that said inflator is filled with liquefied gas.
8. The device according to claim 1, characterized in that said control circuitry is a PLC control board.
