Description
DESCRIPTION
A SYSTEM FOR ENABLING COMMUNICATION DEVICE OF A CALLED SUBSCRIBER TO RING WITH A SOUND DESIRED BY A
CALLING SUBSCRIBER
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a system which enables communication device (for example, telephone) of a called subscriber to ring with a sound that is selected by a calling subscriber upon selecting it among different sound options provided by a central server over his/her own communication device during a communication such as call, message or instant message carried out over a communication network.
Background of the Invention
Today, use of communication technologies show a continuous increase. Subscribers of operators providing service over communication networks try to reach each other by means of communication methods such as call, short message, instant message many times during the day. Within such a lot of call and communication, subscribers are trying to customize certain communications and they sometimes want to reflect their own preferences to this communication when they communicate. A point wherein these requests for customization and preference reflection are frequently seen is ringtone which enables telephones being used in communication to inform the subscriber -who is using the telephone- in cases such as call, message, instant message reaching the telephone.
In the state of the art, even if ringtones of telephones are customized, the ringtone preferred by this customization is usually valid in cases such as all calls, messages, instant messages reaching the telephone. Some solutions wherein
ringtones -which are different than usual- are assigned to calling subscribers are provided today in order that calling subscribers are distinguished just while the telephone is ringing; however, all control is in the called subscriber in these solutions and an opportunity whereby the calling subscriber can customize the ringtone which will play on the telephone of the called subscriber about his/her own communication (call, message, notification) and can take the action that will enable his/her own call to be differentiated from other calls is not provided within these type of solutions. Although it has been tried to make up deficiencies of this type of solutions by means of solutions which provide opportunity to set the ringtone to play on the telephone of the called subscriber and which are also stated in the following patent documents; these solutions also do not enable the calling subscriber to realize his/her selection by selecting it easily over mobile communication device and among many different sound options provided by a central server, the calling subscriber has to provide the ringtone to play on the called party by himself/herself or has to select the ringtone among the ringtones that are already included in the mobile communication device of the called subscriber. The United States patent document no. US2015181031, an application in the state of the art, discloses a system wherein the ringtone to be heard on the called party during the call initiated over mobile telephone is selected by the calling person
The United States patent document no. US2015229781, another application in the state of the art, discloses a system for ensuring that notification sounds to be heard on the called party will be selected by the calling party.
Summary of the Invention An objective of the present invention is to realize a system which enables telephone of a called (recipient) subscriber to ring with a sound that is selected by
a calling (sender) subscriber upon selecting it among different sound options provided by a central server over his/her own communication device during a communication such as call, message or instant message carried out over a communication network.
