Abstract

The present invention relates to a puzzle product which has an indication for its solution printed with ink on the front or rear side of each piece, so that the position of each puzzle piece on the puzzle image is identified. The ink on the front side of each puzzle piece is an invisible ink.

Description

TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
PUZZLE PRODUCT HAVING AN INDICATION FOR ITS SOLUTION.
The invention relates to a puzzle product which has an indication for its solution, by using an ink, on the front or rear side of each puzzle piece.
On the front or rear side of each puzzle piece, a number, a letter, a geometrical shape with a specific colour or a combination thereof is printed, thereby determining its position on the puzzle image.
All known puzzles provide as the only aid the puzzle image printed on the package box. This makes the solution of the puzzle difficult, making the user to leave it unfinished.
The invention addresses this problem by manufacturing a puzzle that has an indication of the solution, thereby facilitating the completion of the puzzle even by very young users.
The invention is applied on all puzzles. An embodiment of the invention is by printing with ink on the front or rear side of each puzzle piece an number unique for each piece, starting from the upper left piece with number -1-, the next one on the same row with the number -2- etc.
The invention allows various forms of identification for the position of the puzzle pieces.
For the better understanding of the basic concept of the invention, the following is provided.
Identification of the position is provided by printing on each puzzle piece a combination of letters and numbers, i.e. A1 , A2, B1 , B2 etc., similar to chess.
Another way is using two number separated with a dash, the first number representing the row while the second one representing the column e.g. 12-20 refers to a puzzle piece which is on the 12th row and the 20th column.
Identification of the position is also effected by printing geometrical shapes on the columns or rows of the puzzle, each group of shapes having different colors.
Also, when printing is effected on the front side of the puzzle, this is effected with invisible ink, so that the identification of each puzzle piece is performed by using an ultraviolet (UV) lamp.

Claims

1. A puzzle product characterized in that each puzzle piece is identified, as regards its position on the puzzle image, by using an ink on the front or rear side of each puzzle piece.
2. A puzzle product according to claim 1 characterised in that printing on each puzzle piece on the front side of the puzzle piece is performed by an invisible ink so that its identification is recognised by using a UV lamp.
3. A puzzle product according to claim 1 and 2 characterised in that on each puzzle piece a unique number is printed, starting from the corner with number 1 , the next piece with number 2 etc., on the front or rear side of each puzzle piece.
4. A puzzle product according to claim 1 and 2 characterised in that on each puzzle piece a combination of a letter and a number (A1 , A2, B1 , B2, C1 , C2, C3 etc.) is printed, the letter representing the column and the number representing the row, on the front or rear side of each puzzle piece.
5. A puzzle product according to one of the previous claims, characterized in that on each puzzle piece two numbers separated between them by a dash are printed, the first number representing the row and the second number representing the column, on the front or rear side of each puzzle piece.
6. A puzzle product according to one of the previous claims, characterized in that on a group of puzzle pieces, rows or columns, a geometrical shape is printed with coloured ink, the same shape with the same colour, on the front or rear side of each puzzle piece.
