Description

Description This invention relates to an innovation in the functionality of bottle caps. Many bottle caps are simply discarded after use as they have no specific function after they have been removed from the bottle. This problem is overcome by the present innovation which effectively turns a bottle cap into a functional representation of a poker chip for the purpose of playing poker in social situations. By adding this extra form of functionality to the bottle cap the particular brand of bottled beverage that features the Poker Chip Bottle Cap will have an increased value for those who look to purchase a beverage in a retail capacity. In one form of the innovation the underside of the bottle cap has been marked with a number so as to distinguish it as having that particular value. Other bottle caps from the same production run will also have a number value on the underside that distinguish them as being of higher, lower or of the same value when compared to another bottle cap.

Claims (4)

1. The marking, printing on or decoration of a bottle cap, of any variety, with a number value and/or with the colours, markings or words that are associated with poker chips so as that the bottle cap may be recognised as having a particular value and hence used as a playing piece in the social game of poker.
2. The bottle cap may take on the functional properties of a poker a chip before, during, or after the bottling process.
3. Varying values may be expressed on individual bottle caps.
4. A bottle cap created with the visual appearance of a poker chip as used in the game of poker as herein described with reference to the attached images. Kieran Moroney, 23 June, 2009.
