Abstract

The invention relates to a method for actuating a clutch (2) of a motor vehicle, comprising the steps of: continuously determining an input speed of rotation (ne) of the clutch (2) for a clutch input element (21), particularly directly on a clutch input element (21); continuously determining an output speed of rotation (na) of the clutch (2) for a clutch output element (22), particularly directly on a clutch output element (22); detecting a slip between the clutch input element (21) and the clutch output element (22); and using the detected slip to actuate the clutch (2) in order to carry out a predetermined vehicle function.
