Abstract

La présente invention concerne un dispositif d'affichage d'image doté d'une fonction de commutation pratique de canal de diffusion, de sorte que les utilisateurs ont la possibilité de visualiser et de sélectionner des canaux en fonction du nom de programme de diffusion qui contient également des informations contextuelles. Plus particulièrement, la présente invention propose un dispositif d'affichage d'image dont l'unité de commande électronique est configurée pour analyser des informations de programme sous la forme d'informations de catégorisation de genre des contenus de programme en temps réel sur différents canaux en utilisant les données de guide de programme électronique et pour générer une liste de sélection de canaux comprenant des noms de canal transformés, chaque nom de canal transformé comprenant un premier champ avec des informations de genre de programme de diffusion spécifique, un deuxième champ avec un indicateur d'accès qui autorise l'accès à une image contenant le nom du programme de diffusion actuel et un troisième champ contenant des données de temps de diffusion du programme de diffusion en cours de visionnage.
