La présente invention concerne un procédé destiné à la lecture d'une vidéo de démarrage d'un terminal d'affichage, comprenant les étapes suivantes : lecture d'une vidéo de démarrage préconfigurée sur le terminal d'affichage; lecture d'une animation de démarrage auxiliaire prédéfinie et lecture de manière synchrone de la vidéo de démarrage préconfigurée, l'animation de démarrage auxiliaire étant destinée à aider à l'affichage de la vidéo de démarrage pendant le démarrage ; et arrêt, après l'achèvement du démarrage du terminal d'affichage, de la lecture de l'animation de démarrage auxiliaire et de la vidéo de démarrage. L'invention concerne en outre un terminal d'affichage qui lit une vidéo de démarrage. La présente invention prend en charge la lecture de la vidéo de démarrage pendant le démarrage d'un terminal d'affichage, étant apte à pousser de manière efficace diverses informations de service au moyen de la vidéo de démarrage, améliorant la capacité de fonctionnement du terminal d'affichage.
