  • the double layer flaps (7, 8, 9) may also be effectively secured in their facing engagement, as by staples. Staple is the most preferable securing method. This is because the staple is able to attach multiples paper together at the same time and not easily to detach or affect by temperature and humidity. Thus, staples provide an inexpensive, quick and secure way of tagging the flaps (7, 8, 9). It will be appreciated that the flaps (7, 8, 9), when secured by stapling, serve to protect the carton corner from being crushed or indented. Of course, other suitable fastening mechanism may be employed, such as adhesive, or other.

Abstract

La présente invention concerne un carton fabriqué dans un matériau pliable comprenant : une pluralité de coins renforcés qui sont pliés vers l'intérieur pour former un rabat (7, 8, 9) ; un couvercle supérieur (1) et un couvercle inférieur (3) présentant chacun une surface intérieure formée de manière à recevoir le rabat (7, 8, 9). La surface intérieure est configurée sous la forme de fentes en forme de U (6), la position de chaque fente (6) correspondant aux coins des couvercles. Les rabats (7, 8, 9) de chaque coin s'introduisent dans une fente en forme de U (6) du bloc au niveau du couvercle supérieur (1) et du couvercle inférieur (3). Tous les coins avec les rabats (7, 8, 9) sont dans une position fixe dans une fente en forme de U (6) sur le couvercle supérieur (1) et le couvercle inférieur (3) pour résister à une force qui agit sur le carton.
