Description
DEVICE POSITIONING TABLE FOR PASSENGER SEATS
DESCRIPTION
Technical Field
The invention relates to a device positioning table having a foldaway feature, where the passengers can place their mobile devices on the seats used in ground and air transportation.
Prior Art
The seats in the ground and air vehicles where the passengers are positioned have many technical properties. However, it is required to create different additional features with respect to the emerging technologies and the changing needs. For example, the recline mechanism of the seats, the deployable armrests and the tables with folding and sliding mechanism on the backrest of the seat are the features which provide high comfort to the passengers.
However, with the increasing needs and the emerging technologies, the necessity of the additional embodiments that will meet the different needs of the passengers has occurred. For example, with the advancements in technology, from the oldest to the youngest, every kind of people uses the mobile devices. The mobile devices having the feature of internet such as tablets and mobile phones are consistently held in the passenger's hands during their travel. There isn't any table present for positioning the said mobile devices and any embodiment to facilitate the use thereof.
In the research of a patent created relating to the prior art, an application with the application no. US8665584 was found. In this application, it mentions about an embodiment that provides for the passengers especially sitting in the frontmost area in the passenger vehicles, to use the tablet computers. This embodiment contains a leg fixed in such a way that it will make a rotational movement to the main structure and a main frame casing embodied on this leg. It's mentioned about a tablet PC placed in the main frame casing.
Description of the Invention
It's the object of the invention to have different technical features which bring a new expansion in this field, different from the embodiments used in the present technique. It's the object of the invention to create a table having a movable, foldaway structure where the mobile devices will be positioned on the backrest of the passenger seats.
It's an object of the invention to provide the safe use of the mobile devices by creating a movable table where the mobile devices will be positioned on the backrest of the passenger seats.
It's another object of the invention to provide the comfort for the passengers in the vehicle by creating a movable table where the mobile devices will be positioned on the backrest of the passenger seats.
It's another object of the invention to relieve the passenger from certain pains and from dependence to the monitor on the seats, with a movable table.

Detailed Description of the Invention
In Fig. 1 , a general and close-up perspective plan view of a movable table (20) embodied on the backrest (1 1 ) of the seats (10) in air and ground vehicles, where the tablet PC, mobile phones and mobile devices (30) are positioned is illustrated. In Fig. 3, a main body (21 ) containing a supporting surface (27) supporting the load of the mobile device (30) and a knuckle point (28) connecting said main body (21 ) either to a backrest (1 1 ) of the seat (10) or to a movable surface (12) situated in the backrest (1 1 ) in such a way that it makes an axial rotating movement are
illustrated. However, it contains a positioning space (24) of a device (30) formed on the said supporting surface (27) and a front barrier (25) and a back barrier (26) of the said positioning space (24) of the device (30). Moreover, and interference space (23) is formed on the said supporting surface (27). Furthermore, it contains an extension of the assembly (29) connecting the supporting surface (27) to the movable surface (12) and also the connection points (22) fixing the supporting surface (27) in case the said supporting surface (27) is closed by means of a knuckle point (28).
The use of the movable table (20) and the mode of operation are as following.
The movable table (20) of the invention is embodied on the backrest (11 ) of the seat (10). Preferable, not only it's embodied on the movable surface (12) at the backrest (1 1 ) of the seat (10), but it's also possible to arrange it directly on the backrest (11 ) of the seat (10). Movable table (20) is in a mounted situation in such a way that it makes an axial rotating movement in the directions, x1 and x2, around an axe, x, by means of a knuckle point (28). After the opening movement is given to the movable table (20), it takes the position of the Fig. 3. The device (30) is places on the positioning space (24) of the supporting surface (27). The device (30) supported between the front barrier (25) and the back barriers (26) is rendered ready to use by positioning it in a position perpendicular or horizontal in this region. The main body (21 ) of the movable table (20) is preferably mounted on the extension of the assembly (29) connected to the movable surface (12) on the backrest (1 1 ). The extension of the assembly (29) has a movement area (291 ). The movement area (291 ) is at the same time the region where the movable table (20) is housed after its closing movement.
In Fig. 2, the closing position of the movable table (20) is illustrated. With the closing movement, the supporting surface (27) of the movable table (20) takes a form which doesn't pose any obstacle by becoming rigid with the backrest (1 1). The connection points (22) are formed so that the movable table (20) is locked after being closed. It's provided for movable table (20) to be fixed on the backrest (1 1 ) and be locked by means of the connection points (22). The opening of the
movable table (20) is provided by the finger to be placed on the interference space (23) and its pulling movement in case the opening of the movable table (20) is desired. On the other hand, there is a soft layer (261 ) formed on the surfaces facing to the positioning space (24) of the front barrier (25) and back barrier (26) (see Fig. 3). The soft layer (261 ) is arranged on the positioning space (24) where the device (30) is placed. Due to the soft layer (261 ), the risk of getting deformed and scratched is eliminated in case the device (30) is exposed to impacts and crashes.
Claims
1. A movable table (20) embodied in the backrest (11 ) of the seats (10) in the air and ground passenger vehicles, where the tablet PC, phones and mobile devices (30) are positioned, characterized in comprising;
- a main body (21 ) containing a supporting surface (27) which supports the load of the said mobile device (30),
- a knuckle point (28) connecting the said main body (21 ) to a backrest (11 ) of the seat (10) or to a movable surface (12) situated in the backrest (11 ) in such a way that it makes an axial rotating movement,
- a positioning space (24) of a device (30) formed on the said supporting surface (27).
2. A movable table (20) according to Claim 1 , characterized in that said positioning space (24) of the said device (30) comprises a front barrier (25) and a back barrier (26).
3. A movable table (20) according to Claim 1 , characterized in comprising an interference space (23) formed on the said supporting surface (27).
4. A movable table (20) according to Claim 1 , characterized in comprising connection points (22) fixing the supporting surface (27) in case the said supporting surface (27) is closed by means of a knuckle point (28).
5. A movable table (20) according to Claim 1 , characterized in comprising an extension of the assembly (29) which connects the said supporting surface (27) to a movable surface (12).
6. A movable table (20) according to Claim 5, characterized in that the said extension of the assembly (29) comprises a movement area (291 ).
7. A movable table (20) according to Claim 2, characterized in comprising a soft layer (261 ) formed on the surfaces facing to the positioning space (24) of the front barrier (25) and of the back barrier (26).
