Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé et un appareil de publication de ressources multimédia. Le procédé comprend les étapes suivantes : un serveur de publication multimédia reçoit un message de demande servant à demander la publication d'une ressource multimédia ; le serveur de publication multimédia acquiert différentes versions de la ressource multimédia depuis un serveur de fourniture de contenu, les différentes versions de la ressource multimédia ayant des débits de code différents ; le serveur de publication multimédia supprime certaines des différentes versions de la ressource multimédia et stocke les versions restantes de la ressource multimédia ; et le serveur de publication multimédia sélectionne et publie une ou plusieurs des versions restantes de la ressource multimédia. La présente invention résout le problème existant dans l'art antérieur d'une occupation excessive d'espaces de stockage et de largeurs de bande lors de la publication d'une ressource multimédia, ce qui permet de réaliser des économies d'espaces de stockage et de largeurs de bande, tout en offrant à l'utilisateur une expérience de service satisfaisante.
