Abstract
The invention relates to a method for mapping artificial magnetic fields. The invention makes use of the magnetoresistive sensors with which mobile telephones are equipped, and of position sensors. According to the invention, a computer application retrieves magnetic field and position data captured with the corresponding precision. This data is sent in batches to a central server where it is processed and saved in a database. Once the data has been processed, it can be retrieved by mobile telephones equipped with position and orientation sensors. An application can be used to display an interpolation of the magnetic field according to the user's position. This method allows people with electromagnetic sensitivity or idiopathic environmental intolerance attributed to electromagnetic fields (IEI-EMF) to visualize magnetic fields and to avoid areas with strong magnetic fields.
