Abstract
A practical grip that enables comfortable carrying of loaded plastic grocery bags comprises an elongate body (1) where bag handles are hanged on with pairs of beams (2) attached to the upper surface of said body and protrusions (3) attached to insides of said pairs of beams forming enclosures (4). Bag handles are placed inside said enclosures through openings between pairs of protrusions and retained in position by friction that prevent them from coming out freely.

There are a number of shortcomings prior art designs suffer, some of which are listed below.
1. Hard to carry along because of their bulk
2. Hard to use because they require skill to operate
3. Bags get detached from the grip when set down
4. Holds only one bag
5. Can not take heavy loads
6. Grip slips from the user's hand
7. Bags shift on the grip or swing out of control disrupting balance of the user
8. Bags spin in place because they are only hanged on the grip at a single point
9. Bags hanged low on the grip causing bottoms of bags to touch the ground
10. Placing bag handles lengthwise is unsuitable for bags with short handles
11. Unsuitable for production by injection molding methods
12. Costly to produce because of their complex structures
13. Environmentally unfriendly due to excessive use of resources in their production
This invention overcomes above listed shortcomings and offers a practical carrying grip.

Disclosure of Invention
A beam of around 11cm length, 1.5cm width and 0.5cm thickness forms the main body (1) of the carrying grip (drawing). Said beam is rounded on all sides to provide a comfortable grip in the user's hand. Normally attached to the upper surface of said body beam where bag handles are hanged are enclosure beams (2) that limit the movement of bag handles along said body beam during carrying. Said enclosure beams have a length of around 1.5cm and are arranged in pairs with a separation of around 1.5cm between them.
Attached to the insides of said enclosure beams are enclosure protrusions (3). Said body beam, said enclosure beams and said enclosure protrusions form bag handle enclosures (4) that limit the movements of bag handles placed inside them. Said protrusions working in pairs have a narrow opening of a few millimeters between them that allows bag handles to be placed inside said enclosures. Said protrusions prevent by friction the placed bag handles from coming freely out of said enclosures. Upper surfaces of said protrusions are slanted downward to facilitate inserting of bag handles. Making bag handles narrower by pinching them slightly will further facilitate inserting. Likewise lower surfaces of said protrusions are slanted upward to facilitate extracting of bag handles from said enclosures.
The best embodiment of this invention employs two of said enclosures disposed at positions corresponding to the two side openings between parallel fingers.
