Abstract
The invention relates to a sealing gasket (4) used in water heating systems (A) in which domestic water is heated via pressure type vacuum tube (2) solar energy and ensuring sealing at the connection between the vacuum tubes (2) and the hot water boiler (1), comprising a pressure screen (4.1) enabling the sealing gasket (4) to exert extra pressure on inner surface of the hot water boiler (1) and the vacuum tube (2) with the impact of the pressure in the hot water boiler (1) and a conical surface (4.2) ensuring extra compression of the sealing gasket (4) between the hot water boiler (1) and the vacuum tube (2) together with the increasing pressure.
Description
A Sealing Gasket The Related Art
The invention relates to a sealing gasket used in water heating systems in which domestic water is heated via pressure type vacuum tube solar energy and ensuring sealing at the connection between the vacuum tubes and the hot water boiler.
The Prior Art
Gaskets used in the prior art applications provide sealing under pressures that are less than 1 bar. Therefore, pressure type solar energy systems have entailed the manufacturers to make double-walled or serpentine-piped solar energy systems. Production of hot water boiler with double-wall or serpentine significantly increases workmanship and raw material costs. Moreover, these are factors that also increase the hot water boiler weights. Heavy hot water boilers make the production and installation on the roofs harder. Hot water capacity of hot water boiler is lower in double-walled or serpentine pressure type solar energy systems.
Another pressure solar energy system in use is the system produced by using "heat- pipe" system. In these systems, a condenser tip made of copper is found in the vacuum tubes. In order to ensure connection and sealing between this condenser tip and the tank, couplings are welded for each vacuum tube in the hot water boiler. This increases raw material and welding workmanship.
In the literature research, similar applications related to sealing gaskets used in water heating systems in which domestic water is heated via pressure type vacuum tube solar energy and ensuring sealing at the connection between the vacuum tubes and the hot water boiler are encountered.
The Patent No. TR 2013/08606 relates to a sealing gasket for preventing possible leakage by being positioned at junctions where pipes and pipe connection
components are coupled, and comprising a main body and a hard body integrated to said main body, characterized in that; it comprises a deep gap formed on said main body, support pieces positioned at both sides of said gap, arm formed on said hard body, and a channel formed within said hard body in order to enable the hard body to take a concave shape.
The utility model with application No. 2014/04390 belonging to the categorization class F16K 1 /22 relates to gasket sealing of line valves mounted to irrigation line pipes in sprinkling or drip irrigation of agricultural cultivation areas. Hermetic seal is obtained by means of a novelty made on the coupling point of the isolating (on-off) shaft passing through the gasket connection tip, on the seal gasket made of durable rubber material on the gasket housing found in the valve main bodies of different diameters. In conclusion, improvement is to be made in sealing gaskets used in water heating systems in which domestic water is heated via pressure type vacuum tube solar energy and ensuring sealing at the connection between the vacuum tubes and the hot water boiler, and therefore, need has occurred for novel embodiments which would eliminate the above said drawbacks and bring solution to the prior art systems.
Purpose of the Invention
The present invention relates to a sealing gasket used in water heating systems in which domestic water is heated via pressure type vacuum tube solar energy and ensuring sealing at the connection between the vacuum tubes and the hot water boiler.
The primary purpose of the invention is to provide sealing above 1 bar pressure in couplings between vacuum tubes and hot water boiler used in water heating systems in which domestic water is heated via pressure type vacuum tube solar energy.
Another purpose of the invention is to produce pressure type solar energy systems with a single wall while providing sealing above 1 bar pressure in couplings between
vacuum tubes and hot water boiler used in water heating systems in which domestic water is heated via pressure type vacuum tube solar energy.
A purpose of the invention is to reduce labour and raw material costs by means of producing the pressure type solar energy systems with a single wall.
In order to achieve the above said purposes, the sealing gasket according to the invention comprises a pressure screen enabling the sealing gasket to exert extra pressure on the hot water boiler and the vacuum tube with the impact of the pressure in the hot water boiler and a conical surface ensuring extra compression of the sealing gasket between the hot water boiler and the vacuum tube together with the increasing pressure.

Detailed Description of the Invention The invention relates to a sealing gasket (4) used in water heating systems (A) in which domestic water is heated via pressure type vacuum tube (2) solar energy and ensuring sealing at the connection between the vacuum tubes (2) and the hot water boiler (1 ).
The water heating system (A), in which the sealing gasket (4) according to the invention is used, comprises a hot water boiler (1 ) storing hot water and multiple vacuum tubes (2) heating domestic water by means of obtaining thermal energy via solar rays. A bearer chassis (3) carrying the water heating system (A) is found below the vacuum tubes (2). A condenser tip (5) preserving the heat energy of the hot water found in the hot water boiler (1 ) is found in front of the vacuum tube (2).
The sealing gasket (4) according to the invention is found between the hot water boiler (1 ) and the vacuum tubes (2) entering into the hot water boiler (1 ), and ensures sealing between the hot water boiler (1 ) and the vacuum tubes (2). Above said sealing gasket (4), a pressure screen (4.1 ) enabling the sealing gasket (4) to exert extra pressure on the hot water boiler (1 ) and the vacuum tube (2) with the impact of the pressure in the hot water boiler (1 ) and a conical surface (4.2) ensuring extra compression of the sealing gasket (4) between the hot water boiler (1 ) and the vacuum tube (2) together with the increasing pressure are found. Below said conical surface (4.2), a diminished surface (4.3) is found, which has a larger section than the section of the sealing gasket (4), and which improves the sealing between the hot water boiler (1 ) and the vacuum tube (2).
In the light of the above given information, the sealing gasket (4) according to the invention operates as follows.
As it is seen in Figure 1 , water enters into the hot water boiler (1 ) via water mains pressure. When the hot water boiler (1 ) is filled up, the pressure of the hot water boiler (1 ) is increased up to the water main pressure. With the increasing pressure, the sealing gasket (4) positioned between the vacuum tubes (2) and the hot water boiler (1 ) prevents water leakage between the vacuum tubes (2) and the hot water boiler (1 ). Due to the pressure found inside the hot water boiler (1 ) applies pressure on the pressure screens (4.1 ) found on the sealing gasket (4) and thus ensures that the sealing gasket (4) applies more pressure on the body metal sheet of the hot water boiler (1 ) and the vacuum tube (2). Sealing is obtained by means of this pressure. Moreover, in order to ensure that the sealing gasket (4) does not get thrown away from the vacuum tube (2) holes found on and fitted into the hot water boiler (1 ), the surface of the sealing gasket (4) that contacts the hole is produced conically. Said conical surface (4.2), ensures better compression of the sealing gasket (4) between the hot water boiler (1 ) and the vacuum tube (2) with the increasing pressure. In this way, sealing is achieved. The thermal energy obtained from the solar energy is transferred to water via the condenser tip (5). The water is fed to the hot water installation via water mains pressure.
In, Figure 4, a close-up mounted view of the sealing gasket (4) according to the invention is given together with the condenser tip (5). A screen is formed on the vacuum tube (2) in which the sealing gasket (4) is positioned, such that it would cover around the glass. This pressure screen (4.1 ) ensures sealing between the sealing gasket (4) and the vacuum tube (2) under high pressures.
Claims
A sealing gasket (4) used in water heating systems (A) in which domestic water is heated via pressure type vacuum tube (2) solar energy and ensuring sealing at a connection between the vacuum tubes (2) and the hot water boiler (1 ), characterized in that; it comprises:
- a pressure screen (4.1 ) enabling the sealing gasket (4) to exert extra pressure on the hot water boiler (1 ) and the vacuum tube (2) with the impact of the pressure in the hot water boiler (1 ), and
a conical surface (4.2) ensuring extra compression of the sealing gasket (4) between the hot water boiler (1 ) and the vacuum tube (2) together with the increasing pressure.
A Sealing Gasket (4) according to Claim 1 , characterized in that; it comprises: a diminished surface (4.3), which improves the sealing between the hot water boiler (1 ) and the vacuum tube (2).
A Sealing Gasket (4) according to Claim 2, characterized in that; it comprises: a diminished surface (4.3) that has a diameter section that is larger than the section of said sealing gasket (4).
