Abstract
The invention pertains to a device for converting wind energy to at least mechanical energy, comprising a horizontal axis shrouded wind turbine with a coaxial shroud wherein the device comprises flow guiding means which are positioned directly behind the rotor blades and/or comprise a shape which has been adapted to the rotor blades.
