  • This fitting will be available in two configurations Close Coupled and Wide Spread. Close Coupled has the two stand pipes closer together to minimum access area aboveground. Wide Spread stand pipes are further apart but allow a smaller end to end fitting dimension. Both configurations will be available with end-to-end connections either two hubs or hub by no hub (straight pipe).

Abstract

A two way cross clean-out pipe fitting, used to access underground drain and sewer lines for the purpose of cleaning and removal of blockage. It consists of two access ways aboveground that lead to the underground line. Prior to the tool reaching the underground line, it travels through long radius bends that guide it in the preferred direction without the use of additional tools and eliminates trial and error issues. Each access way determines the direction for the cleaning tool to travel, which is opposite to one and other.

Description

Two Way Cross Clean-out Description
I, James Esteem, certify that I invented the Two Way Cross Cleanout DWV pipe fitting. The purpose of this cleanout fitting is to allow bi-directional access to clear drain lines from one location. The drain can be cleared (snaked) from the cleanout fitting to the main sewer line or toward the direction of the drain fixtures. This Pitting utilizes long radius bends which allows improved directional success when inserting the snake into the fitting. The Cross configuration allows the fitting to be more compact than using standard fittings. The fittings are to be manufactured from ail Industrial Plastics per their appropriate Code. This fitting will be available in two configurations Close Coupled and Wide Spread. Close Coupled has the two stand pipes closer together to minimum access area aboveground. Wide Spread stand pipes are further apart but allow a smaller end to end fitting dimension. Both configurations will be available with end-to-end connections either two hubs or hub by no hub (straight pipe).
