Abstract

L'invention concerne une courroie à plusieurs ouvertures qui peut être installée dans un anneau de valve mitrale. À l'intérieur de chaque ouverture, des valves individuelles peuvent être placées. La courroie et les valves peuvent être posées par l'intermédiaire d'un cathéter, et dans certains cas, la taille de cathéter peut être 18 French ou moins. La courroie peut comprendre un bracelet qui peut bloquer des zones de l'ouverture qui seraient sinon ouvertes. La courroie peut être installée à l'aide de fixations commissurales qui appliquent une valve mitrale à proximité du point commissural. La courroie, les valves et le bracelet, peuvent être installés sans arrêter le cœur, et du fait que plusieurs valves sont utilisées, des valves beaucoup plus petites peuvent être utilisées, ce qui permet de réduire la taille du cathéter.
