Abstract
Embodiments of the invention provide method and system for reducing ACI in an OFDM receiver. The method comprises: determining a final signal bandwidth according to a signal decoded from a preamble of a frame received by the OFDM receiver; based on the final signal bandwidth, selecting a Finite Impulse Response Low Pass Filter (FIR LPF) from a plurality of available FIR LPFs to remove adjacent channel interference from a signal output from an analog-to-digital converter (ADC), and determining a number count of Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) points for a FFT algorithm to be used for performing FFT on a signal of remaining portion of the frame to be received by the OFDM receiver.
