Description

DESCRIPTION
"Device for the feeding of animals"
~k ~k ~k
The present invention relates to a device for the feeding of animals.
In particular, the present invention relates to a device for the feeding of animals, of the type that can contain both food and water, and which also comprises a reserve of protected water.
As it is known, there are different types of devices for the feeding of animals.
As an example, the patent application CN203985474 describes an integrated device for feeding animals comprising a lower tank, an upper tank and a water pumping unit. The pumping unit transports the filtered drinking water, by means of a filter placed within the lower tank, from the lower tank to the upper tank. The device also comprises a removable bowl for the food disposed above the upper tank.
However, such a device for the feeding of animals requires filters and electronic devices that enable the pumping of water from the lower tank, representing a reserve of water, to the upper tank. Therefore, this device is rather complicated and expensive. Purpose of the present invention is to provide a device for the feeding of animals simple and cheap, therefore having characteristics such as to overcome the limitations which still affect the devices for the feeding of animals devices previously described with reference to the known technique.
According to the present invention, a device for the feeding of animals is provided, as defined in claim 1.
For a better understanding of the present invention a preferred embodiment is now described, purely as non- limiting example, with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which:
- Figure 1 shows a schematic three-dimensional view and a complete view of a device for the feeding of animals, according to the invention;
- Figure 2 shows a three-dimensional schematic view of a lower module and of an upper module of the device for the feeding of animals, according to the invention;
Figure 3 shows a schematic section view of the device for the nourishment of animals, according to the invention .
With reference to these figures and, in particular, to Figure 1, a device for the feeding of animals is shown, according to the invention. More in details, the device 1 for the feeding of animals comprises a lower module and an upper module 3 coupled together. More precisely, the lower module 2 is configured to be used as a containment reservoir for containing a predetermined quantity of protected, which acts as a water reservoir for the device 1.
As better shown in Figure 2, advantageously according to the invention, the upper module 3 is provided with a lower lip 3c folded outwards, having a lower edge 3ca and forming a seat 3cb for the support of the upper edge 2c of the lower module. In this way it is possible to place the lower lip 3c of the upper module 3 on the upper edge 2c of the lower module 2 in a fixed position, as shown in Figures 2 and 3.
Advantageously according to the invention, the upper module 3 is the cover of the lower module 2.
In addition, according to an aspect of the invention, the lower module 2 comprises a first tank 2a and a second tank 2b communicating with the first tank 2a, both of them being configured to be filled with water.
According to another aspect of the invention, the lower module 2 has the shape of the number eight.
The upper module 3 is shaped so as to overlap the lower module 2 closing it perfectly and comprises a first compartment 3a configured to be filled with food for animals and a second compartment 3b configured to be filled with a certain quantity of water reservoir from the tanks 2a and 2b of the lower module 2.
In particular, according to an aspect of the invention, the upper module 3 is overlying the lower module 2 with the compartment 3a for the food containment overlying the tank 2a and the compartment 3b for the containment of water overlying the tank 2b.
According to an aspect of the invention, the compartment 3a is circular.
According to another aspect of the invention, the compartment 3a is a first bowl.
According to another aspect of the invention, the compartment 3b is circular.
According to another aspect of the invention, the compartment 3b is a second bowl.
According to another aspect of the invention, the compartments 3a and 3b are interconnected in correspondence of a central connection portion 4 of the upper module 3.
Advantageously according to the invention, the compartment 3b for the containment of water is provided with a lower inner surface 3d, for example concave, inner side walls 3e and openings 3f, for example slots, extending from the lower inner surface 3d to the inner side walls 3e. In particular, through the openings 3f, the reserve of water contained in the tanks 2a and 2b of the lower module 2 can pass inside the compartment 3b of the upper module 3.
Advantageously according to the invention, the compartment 3b containing water is an immersion compartment .
Advantageously according to the invention, the lip 3c of the upper module 3 is provided with a lower edge 3cb in common between the compartment 3a and to the compartment 3b and is provided of an upper edge 3g in correspondence of the compartment 3a, and of an upper edge 3h, in correspondence of the compartment 3b, which is placed at higher height respect to the edge 3g. More precisely, the edge 3g is positioned at a variable height hi with respect to the edge to 3ca, hi decreasing from the connection portion 4 towards a first end la of the device 1. Instead, the edge 3h is positioned at a variable height h2 with respect to the edge 3ca, h2 decreasing from the connection portion 4 towards a second end lb of the device 1.
Advantageously according to the invention, the lower inner surface 3d is smaller than the surface bounded by the edge 3h. Advantageously according to the invention, with respect to the edge 3ca the height hi of points Pl...Pn of the edge 3g is greater than the height h2 of points Ql...Qn of the edge 3h equidistant of the points Pl...Pn with respect to the central connection portion 4.
Advantageously according to the invention, the height difference of the compartment 3a with respect to the compartment 3b makes sure that the volume of the tanks 2a and 2b of the lower module 2 is covered.
Advantageously according to the invention, the surface area of the tank 2a of the water reserve inside the lower module 2 is greater than the surface area of the compartment 3b.
Advantageously according to the invention, the water surface protected inside the lower module 2 is at the same height of the water surface exposed in the compartment 3b.
In this way, to fill the lower module 2 with water is sufficient in order the water goes to occupy the volume of the compartment 3b and is available for consumption by the animal .
Therefore, the device for the feeding of animals according to the invention allows to have water available in the water compartment without necessarily using electronic devices or pumps. Furthermore, the device for the feeding of animals according to the invention enables to use a single device to provide food and water to the animal .
Another advantage of the device for the feeding of animals according to the invention is to be easily assembled and disassembled.
A further advantage of the device for the feeding of animals according to the invention consists in being compact .
Furthermore, the device for the feeding of animals allows to have a reserve of protected water such as to avoid contamination from dirt and direct exposure to light.
Finally, the device for the feeding of animals according to the invention is low cost.
Finally it is clear that the device for the feeding of animals described and illustrated here can be modified and varied without departing from the protective scope of the present invention, as defined in the appended claims.
