Abstract
The solution relates to liquid level sensors, and specifically to level sensors intended for determining the liquid level in aquaria and terraria. The technical result is an improvement in the design of a water level sensor holder, and also an extension of the field of use thereof, which is achieved by the fact that an aquarium water level sensor is claimed, comprising a housing, a magnetically operated sealed switch and a float on which a magnet is placed, characterized in that the housing is divided into two units - a signal unit and a measuring unit, a recess is formed in the central part of the measuring unit, two openings are formed on the lower edge of the recess, the float is placed in the recess, wherein the shape of the float corresponds to the shape of the recess, the width and the length of the float correspond to the width and the length of the recess, and the height of the float is less than the height of the recess, and a magnet is arranged in the lower part of the measuring unit, wherein a magnetically operated sealed switch which is responsive to said magnet is arranged in the signal unit, the units are fastened together with magnets which are arranged in pairs at identical locations in the units with opposite polarities to each other, and a magnetically operated sealed switch which is responsive to the magnet on the float is mounted in the upper part of the signal unit.
