HEAD
DESCRIPTION
Field of Invention :
The present invention relates to a new apparatus in open-type wrenches with movable head and ratchet handle used to tighten and loosen the screws and bolts without moving the body.
Background of the Art: The open-type wrenches being used in the context of the prior art, are moved and used by taking force from the rod-shaped structure on its body.
When the open-type wrenches are used within the scope of the prior art, they are aligned and positioned onto the bolt or screw structure to be used on. According to the next process, the bolt or screw structure is rotated by turning it towards a direction. In order to continue the turning process, after each turn they have to be removed from the bolt or screw structure that is being worked on and have to be realigned and repositioned onto the related piece. In the prior art, the open-type wrench structures are used in a time consuming manner due to their usage patterns and limited usage areas.
The range of motion of the open-type wrenches is quite limited. Their use especially in unfavourable environments is considerably difficult. The wrench structures used in the prior art remain incapable to prevent this problem.
Object of the invention:
The object of the invention is to make the loosening-tightening of the screw or bolt through the handle and shaft in constrained environments more practical by keeping the body stable. Another object of the invention is to provide ease in the loosening-tightening of screw or bolt structures in areas with limited range of motion.
Another object of the invention is to provide a quick loosening- tightening of screws or bolts in areas with limited space of motion as well as in normal areas.

Disclosure of the Invention:
The open-type wrench (11) with movable head pertaining to the invention is made of steel and has a body (26) structure consisting of the combination of two twin half bodies (27) . The said twin half bodies (27) have at least 6 pin housings (6) each and 5 screw sockets (4) each providing these to be anchored to each other. The twin half bodies (27) are firmly anchored to each other through the screws (25) inserted into the said screw sockets (4) . The movable head (10) seen in figure 2 is placed
between the twin half bodies (27) , so as to face the open inlet cavity .
A motion bearing protrusion (8) providing the positioning of the movable head (10) inside the body (26) is located on the movable head (10) structure. A screw-nut inlet (7) providing the screw (25) and nut structures to be retained is located on the inner edge part of the movable head (10) . A gear (9) structure is located on the outer edge of the movable head (10) .
As seen in Figure 1, cavities for the movable head bearing (2), helical gear bearings (1), shaft bearing (5) and movable head motion bearing (3) positioned facing each other are located in the inner parts of the twin half bodies (27) . The said cavity structures are formed in the inner part of the body (26) by the combination of the twin half bodies (27) .
The steel double-end helical gears (12) and single-ended helical gears (15) as seen in Figures 3 and 4, are mounted so as to surround the movable head (10), between the twin half bodies (27), in other words inside the body. The double-end helical gears (12) and single-ended helical gears (15) are positioned to the suitably structured helical gear bearings (1) . Cone gear (13) and helical gear bearing (14) structures are located at both ends of the double-end helical gears (12), as can be seen in Figure 3. As to the single-ended helical gear (15) structures, while cone gear (13) and helical gear bearing (14) structures are located at one end, a pin (16) is located at the other end as can also be seen in Figure 4.
The shaft (17) being one of the parts transmitting motion in the open-type wrench with movable head (11) structure pertaining to the invention, is positioned in the shaft bearing (3) inside the body (26) . A shaft gear (18) structure transmitting the motion to the helical gears is located at the end of the shaft (17) structure facing the open inlet. As can be seen in Figure 5, bearings (19) positioned on the edges of the shaft (17) are located facing each other. At the lower portion of the shaft (17) structure, a spherical structure is located in order to provide the connection with the ratchet handle (21) .
At the lower portion of the body (26) , a ratchet handle (21) positioned in order to provide the desired motion is located. The ratchet handle (21) is connected to the shaft (17) structure from one end. Whereas the other end has a ratchet head (22) structure. As can be seen in Figure 5, cavity (23) and knoble (24) structures allowing required adjustments in order to provide ease of use and the desired motion are located on the ratchet handle (21).
The shaft (17) located inside the body transmits the force occurring from the motion of the ratchet handle (21) to the helical gears. As a result of the force being transmitted to the helical gears, the motion bearing protrusion (8) on the movable head (10) is aligned. With the alignment of the motion bearing protrusion (8), the removal and insertion processes can be performed without separating the open-type wrench (11) structure from the screw (25) and bolt. Furthermore, the ratchet handle (21) can be manufactured in varied geometries such as toggle lever, spinning wheel, in order to provide ease of use for the user .
The motion of the movable head (10) is provided with the shaft (17) positioned to the shaft bearing (5) inside the body (26), without moving the body through the ratchet handle (21) connected to the shaft (17) structure from the lower portion of the body (26) . The insertion and removal of the screw (25) and bolts are provided by means of the ratchet handle (21) with the body (26) not having to move through the said structure.
Anchoring can be provided with the ratchet handle (21) and can be moved towards the right and left through the ratchet head (22) . The removal and insertion processes of screws (25) or bolts can be performed easily within short periods of time even in unfavourable and constrained areas through the open-type wrench with movable head (11) pertaining to the invention. A hinged wrench flap (28) is located in order to provide a better grip of the screws (25) and bolts especially in constrained areas. The screw (25) and bolts are enabled to be inserted and removed in areas where the screws (25) and bolts are difficult to be seen through the hinge feature of this wrench flap (28) . The movable head (10) is of a suitable structure for production in any type, number and various dimensions for the implementation of the invention to screws (25) and bolts of all dimensions.
Claims
1. The invention comprises a novice open-type wrench with movable head (11) to loosen and tighten screws and bolts characterised in that it comprises the following components; a movable head (10) with a certain amount of cavity on its edge structure in order to be used to provide the loosening/tightening motions of the said screws (25) or bolts and to cling to these structures; at least one double- end helical gear (12) with cone gear (13) structure at both ends placed onto helical gear bearings (1) of suitable structure at the inner portions of the twin half bodies (27); at least one single-ended helical gear (15) with cone gear (13) structure at one end and where a pin (16) used for installation at the other end placed onto helical gear bearings (1) of a suitable structure at the inner portions of the twin half bodies (27) ; a shaft (17) with a shaft gear (18) of a structure that can be placed to the conical cavity inside the movable head motion bearing (5) located at the inner portions of the twin half bodies (27) at one end, and a sphere (20) providing the assembly to the ratchet handle (21) at the other end; the body (26) consisting of the two twin half bodies (27) of a structure to be positioned inside the shaft (17) structures, single-ended helical gears (15), double-end helical gears (12) and the said movable head (10); the ratchet handle (21) installed to the shaft (17) through the spherical (20) structure at the lower edge of the shaft (17) and providing screws (25) or bolts to be removed or inserted by the motion of the movable head (10) without having to move the body (26) .
