Abstract

악골 및 골재건을 위한 스캐폴드의 제작에 있어서, 치료 즉시 설치 가능하도록 신속 정확하게 스캐폴드를 제작하는 동시에, 수혜부에 안정적으로 맞춤 설치할 수 있는 스캐폴드를 제작하는 데 있어서, 종양 등의 광범위한 부위 또는 불규칙한 수혜부에 안정적으로 설치 가능한 스캐폴드를 제작하는 기술을 제공한다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 블록형 스캐폴드 제작 방법은, CT 촬영 데이터 중 의료 영상 파일(DICOM)을 이용하여 골재건을 위하여 수혜부에 설치될 스캐폴드의 3차원 영상 이미지를 생성하는 단계; 스캐폴드의 3차원 영상 이미지를, 복수의 블록 이미지로 구분하는 단계; 및 스캐폴드의 3차원 영상 이미지를 3차원 프린터를 이용하여 출력하되, 복수의 블록 이미지에 대응하는 3차원 객체가 서로 분리 가능하도록 출력하여 스캐폴드를 제작하는 단계;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.

Description

블록형 스캐폴드 제작 방법
본 발명은 악골 또는 골재건에 대한 치료를 돕는 스캐폴드의 제작 기술에 관한 것으로, 구체적으로는 재건부위에 정확하게 스캐폴드를 제작하는 동시에, 수혜부에 안정적으로 맞춤 설치할 수 있는 스캐폴드를 제작하는 데 있어서, 종양 등의 광범위한 부위 또는 불규칙한 수혜부에 안정적으로 설치 가능한 스캐폴드를 제작하는 기술에 관한 것이다.
치과 분야의 악골 등의 환부의 골재건은, 치료 효과의 향상을 통한 빠른 회복을 위해 필수적인 부분으로 인식되고 있다. 특히, 종양 등으로 인하여 발생되는 광범위한 환부는, 골재건이 어렵고, 치료 기간이 많이 소요되기 때문에, 치료 효과를 향상시키기 위한 다양한 기술이 연구되고 있다.
이 중, 악골에 대한 치료 또는 골재건을 위한 치료를 위해서 최근 다양한 스캐폴드가 제작되어 사용되고 있다. 예를 들어, 치과 영역에서는 한국등록특허 제10-1527934호 등과 같이 다양한 재료를 이용하여 치과 치료용 스캐폴드를 제작하는 기술을 제시하고 있다. 종래의 기술에서는 치과 치료용 스캐폴드에 대해서 골융합 및 골형성 효능을 갖고, 골형성 촉진 물질 방출이 가능한 임플란트 또는 스캐폴드에 관한 기술적 특징을 게시하고 있다.
그러나 상기의 종래의 기술들은, 단순히 스캐폴드의 세부적인 재질 등의 구성에 대해서만 기재되어 있다. 이에 따라서 스캐폴드를 실질적으로 수혜부에 정확하게 설치할 수 있도록 하기 위한 기술에 대해서는 그 연구가 전무한 실정이다.
이에, 본 발명은, 악골 또는 골재건을 위한 스캐폴드를 환부의 형상에 치료 전에 정확하게 일치하도록 블록형으로 제작하여, 즉시 설치가 가능한 스캐폴드를 제작하는 동시에, 종양 등의 광범위한 부위 또는 불규칙한 수혜부에 안정적으로 설치 가능한 스캐폴드를 제작하는 기술을 제공하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 또한 여러 블로형 제작은 각 블록에 여러가지 골형성을 보조하는 물질을 첨부하여 이식부위에 고르고 광범히하게 첨부될 수 있음이 장점이다.
상기 목적을 달성하기 위하여, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 블록형 스캐폴드 제작 방법은, CT 촬영 데이터 중 의료 영상 파일(DICOM)을 이용하여 골재건을 위하여 수혜부에 설치될 스캐폴드의 3차원 영상 이미지를 생성하는 단계; 상기 스캐폴드의 3차원 영상 이미지를, 복수의 블록 이미지로 구분하는 단계; 및 상기 스캐폴드의 3차원 영상 이미지를 3차원 프린터를 이용하여 출력하되, 상기 복수의 블록 이미지에 대응하는 3차원 객체가 서로 분리 가능하도록 출력하여 상기 스캐폴드를 제작하는 단계;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
본 발명에 의하면, 치료 전 촬영하는 CT 촬영 데이터에 포함된 의료 영상 파일을 이용하여, 치료 전 수혜부에 설치되어야 하는 스캐폴드의 형상을 정확하게 예측하여 그에 설치 가능한 스캐폴드를 제작할 수 있다. 특히, 광범위한 부위 또는 언더컷(Undercut)이 발생하여 안쪽에 넓은 공간이 형성됨으로써, 스캐폴드를 해당 부위의 형상에 일치하도록 안정적으로 설치할 수 없는 부위에, 복수개로 나뉘어진 블록을 결합하면서 설치할 수 있는 스캐폴드를 제작할 수 있다.
이에 따라서, 실제 치료 즉시 스캐폴드를 설치할 수 있도록 스캐폴드를 제작할 수도 있어 신속 정확한 치료가 가능해지는 효과가 있고, 특히 치료에 따라서 형상이 달라질 수 있는 수혜부에 정확하게 대응되어 설치 가능하도록 스캐폴드를 제작할 수 있고, 특히 종양 등의 광범위한 부위 또는 불규칙한 수혜부에 안정적으로 설치 가능한 스캐폴드를 제작할 수 있어, 치료 효과가 크게 증가하는 효과가 있다.

이하 첨부된 도면을 참조하여 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 블록형 스캐폴드 제작 방법에 대해서 설명하기로 한다.
이하의 설명에서 본 발명에 대한 이해를 명확히 하기 위하여, 본 발명의 특징에 대한 공지의 기술에 대한 설명은 생략하기로 한다. 이하의 실시 예는 본 발명의 이해를 돕기 위한 상세한 설명이며, 본 발명의 권리 범위를 제한하는 것이 아님은 당연할 것이다. 따라서, 본 발명과 동일한 기능을 수행하는 균등한 발명 역시 본 발명의 권리 범위에 속할 것이다.
이하의 설명에서 동일한 식별 기호는 동일한 구성을 의미하며, 불필요한 중복적인 설명 및 공지 기술에 대한 설명은 생략하기로 한다.
도 1은 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 블록형 스캐폴드 제작 방법의 플로우차트이다.
도 1을 참조하면, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 블록형 스캐폴드 제작 방법은 먼저 CT 촬영 데이터의 의료 영상 파일(DICOM 파일)을 이용하여 의료 영상 파일로부터 골재건을 위하여 수혜부(또는 환부)에 설치된 스캐폴드의 3차원 영상 이미지를 생성하는 단계(S10)를 포함한다.
CT는 CBCT로도 지칭되며, 촬영 대상 내부를 단층 촬영하여 3차원적으로 확인할 수 있는 장치를 의미한다. CT 촬영 장치를 통해 CT가 촬영되면, CT 촬영 데이터가 생성되며, 해당 데이터에는 상기 언급한 촬영 대상 내부의 3차원 영상에 대응하는 의료 영상 파일(DICOM 파일)이 포함된다.
예를 들어 치아 CT의 경우, CT 촬영 결과 생성되는 의료 영상 파일에 있어서, 치조골과 치아, 결손부 및 종양 등을 구분할 수 있다. 이를 이용하여 환자의 상태에 따라서, 치료 후, 예상되는 스캐폴드의 설치 위치로서의 수혜부(악골, 발치 시의 발치와 및 기타 골 결손부등)를 결정할 수 있을 것이다.
치조골과 치아가 구분되는 의료 영상 파일의 특징을 이용하여 골재건을 위하여 수혜부에 설치될 스캐폴드의 3차원 영상 이미지를 S10 단계를 통해 생성할 수 있다.
S10 단계가 수행되어 스캐폴드의 3차원 영상 이미지가 생성되면, 이후 스캐폴드의 3차원 영상 이미지를, 복수의 블록 이미지로 구분하는 단계(S20)가 수행된다.
S20 단계에서 복수의 블록 이미지로 스캐폴드의 3차원 영상 이미지를 구분하는 것은, 스캐폴드의 3차원 영상 이미지를 복수의 객체로 분리하는 것을 의미한다. 복수의 블록 이미지는, 스캐폴드의 형태 및 설치 위치로서의 수혜부의 형태에 따라서 달라질 수 있다.
예를 들어, 광범위하나 설치가 쉬운 수혜부에 큰 스캐폴드가 설치될 시, 다수의 블록의 형태를 다양해질 수 있다. 한편 언더컷(Undercut) 등 신체 안쪽의 환부가 넓고 외부가 좁아 스캐폴드가 삽입되기 매우 어려운 경우, 언더컷에 해당하는 부위의 스캐폴드의 3차원 영상 이미지를 다수의 블록 이미지로 구분하도록 할 수 있다.
한편, 블록 이미지를 형성 시, 후술하는 바와 같이 블록 이미지에 따라서 스캐폴드가 분리 가능하도록 제작되기 때문에, 제작된 스캐폴드 블록끼리 결합이 안정적으로 수행되도록 할 수 있다.
즉, 블록 이미지로 구분 시, 블록 이미지에 대응하는 제작된 스캐폴드에 포함되는 3차원 객체가 서로 분리 가능하되, 결합 시 서로 고정되도록 3차원 객체마다 인접하는 3차원 객체와의 결합구조가 형성되도록 블록 이미지를 생성할 수 있다.
예를 들어, 블록 이미지마다, 인접하는 블록 이미지와 끼움 결합되는 구조를 갖도록 블록 이미지를 생성하여, 추후 스캐폴드 제작 및 설치 시 3차원 객체들 간의 안정적인 고정이 가능하도록 할 수 있다.
S20 단계가 수행되면, 스캐폴드의 3차원 영상 이미지를 3차원 프린터를 이용하여 출력하되, S20 단계에서 생성된 복수의 블록 이미지에 대응하는 3차원 객체가 상기 언급한 바와 같이 서로 분리 가능하도록 출력하여 스캐폴드를 제작하는 단계(S30)가 수행된다.
S30 단계는 구체적으로, 한 번의 출력을 통하여 다수의 블록 이미지가 결합되어 있으나 분리 가능한 상태로 스캐폴드를 출력하는 방식 또는 다수의 블록 이미지에 대응하는 3차원 객체마다 3차원 프린터를 이용하여 출력함으로써 스캐폴드에 포함된 다수의 3차원 객체를 별도 제작하는 방식 등 다양한 방식이 사용될 수 있다.
스캐폴드는 예를 들어, 생체 친화성 고분자 폴리머(PLC)를 포함하는 재질을 포함하는 3차원 프린터 출력용 스트립(Strip)을 이용하여 제작됨으로써 생체 친화적인 스캐폴드의 제작이 가능하며, 치료 효과를 증가시킬 수 있다.
더욱 구체적으로, 스캐폴드를 제작 시, 복수의 블록 이미지에 대응하는 3차원 객체의 특성을 이용하여 골재건 효과를 더욱 향상시키기 위하여, 블록 이미지에 대응하는 3차원 객체의 중심마다 수혜부에 대응되는 세포(Cell) 및 해당 세포의 성장인자가 포함되도록 세포 및 성장인자를 포함하는 3차원 프린터 출력용 스트립을 이용할 수 있다. 이를 통해, 다수의 중심부위에 셀 및 성장인자가 포함되어, 치료 효과가 더욱 증가될 수 있다.
이와 같은 흐름에 의하면, 환자의 치조골 및 치아를 포함하는 골재건 대상이 되는 부분의 형상을 의료 영상 파일을 이용하여 분석하고, 치료 결과를 예측하여 스캐폴드를 제작할 수 있다. 특히 종양 등의 광범위한 부위 또는 불규칙한 수혜부에 안정적으로 설치 가능한 스캐폴드를 제작할 수 있어, 치료 효과가 크게 증가하는 효과가 있다. 이는 상기 언급한 치조골 및 치아 이외에 다른 골재건 등을 위한 환부에 적용될 수 있음은 당연할 것이다.
한편 상기의 과정에 의하여 스캐폴드를 제작한 후 스캐폴드를 실제 환자의 수혜부에 설치하는 추가적인 단계가 수행될 수 있다. 스캐폴드를 설치 시에는 복수의 3차원 객체를 차례로 설치 및 고정하는 방식이 사용될 수 있다.
이에 따라서 환자의 실제 치료가 이루어지지 않더라도, 일률적인 형태의 스캐폴드가 아니라, 환자의 실제 치료 시 생성되는 수혜부에 정확하게 설치 가능한 스캐폴드를 치료 여부와 관계없이 제작할 수 있어, 환자의 실제 치료 즉시 스캐폴드를 설치할 수 있는 효과가 있다. 또한 실제 수혜부에 정확하게 설치 가능하도록 높은 정확도로 스캐폴드를 제작할 수 있어, 수혜부에 안정적인 고정을 통해 치료 효과를 극대화할 수 있는 효과가 있다.
특히, 스캐폴드가 복수의 3차원 객체로 분리 및 결합 가능하도록 제작되기 때문에, 종양 등의 광범위한 부위에 설치 가능한 스캐폴드를 제작 가능한 동시에 안정적으로 설치할 수 있고, 언더컷 등 스캐폴드를 일체형으로 제작 시 삽입이 불가능한 수혜부에 있어서, 3차원 객체를 차례로 설치 및 조립하는 방식으로 설치하게 되기 때문에, 해당 수혜부에 안정적인 스캐폴드의 설치가 가능한 효과가 있다.
도 2는 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따라 블록형 스캐폴드가 설치되는 예를 설명하기 위한 도면이다.
도 2를 참조하면, 의료 영상 파일에 있어서, 스캐폴드의 3차원 영상 이미지가 생성되는 영역(10)을 확인할 수 있다. 즉, 해당 영역(10)에서 골상태 등의 형태를 분석하여 치료 후 설치할 스캐폴드의 3차원 영상 이미지가 생성된다.
한편, 본 발명의 실시예에 의하여, 스캐폴드의 3차원 영상 이미지는 복수의 블록 이미지(11)로 구분될 수 있다. 도 2에는 2차원적으로 도시되어 있으나, 이는 본 발명의 설명을 위한 도면으로서, 복수의 블록 이미지(11)는 3차원 블록 이미지임이 바람직할 것이다.
이상에서, 본 발명의 실시예를 구성하는 모든 구성 요소들이 하나로 결합되거나 결합되어 동작하는 것으로 설명되었다고 해서, 본 발명이 반드시 이러한 실시예에 한정되는 것은 아니다. 즉, 본 발명의 목적 범위 안에서라면, 그 모든 구성 요소들이 적어도 하나로 선택적으로 결합하여 동작할 수도 있다.
또한, 이상에서 기재된 "포함하다", "구성하다" 또는 "가지다" 등의 용어는, 특별히 반대되는 기재가 없는 한, 해당 구성 요소가 내재될 수 있음을 의미하는 것이므로, 다른 구성 요소를 제외하는 것이 아니라 다른 구성 요소를 더 포함할 수 있는 것으로 해석되어야 한다. 기술적이거나 과학적인 용어를 포함한 모든 용어들은, 다르게 정의되지 않는 한, 본 발명이 속하는 기술 분야에서 통상의 지식을 가진 자에 의해 일반적으로 이해되는 것과 동일한 의미를 가진다. 사전에 정의된 용어와 같이 일반적으로 사용되는 용어들은 관련 기술의 문맥 상의 의미와 일치하는 것으로 해석되어야 하며, 본 발명에서 명백하게 정의하지 않는 한, 이상적이거나 과도하게 형식적인 의미로 해석되지 않는다.
이상의 설명은 본 발명의 기술 사상을 예시적으로 설명한 것에 불과한 것으로서, 본 발명이 속하는 기술 분야에서 통상의 지식을 가진 자라면 본 발명의 본질적인 특성에서 벗어나지 않는 범위에서 다양한 수정 및 변형이 가능할 것이다. 따라서, 본 발명에 개시된 실시예들은 본 발명의 기술 사상을 한정하기 위한 것이 아니라 설명하기 위한 것이고, 이러한 실시예에 의하여 본 발명의 기술 사상의 범위가 한정되는 것은 아니다. 본 발명의 보호 범위는 아래의 청구범위에 의하여 해석되어야 하며, 그와 동등한 범위 내에 있는 모든 기술 사상은 본 발명의 권리범위에 포함되는 것으로 해석되어야 할 것이다.

Claims (5)

  1. CT 촬영 데이터 중 의료 영상 파일(DICOM)을 이용하여 골재건을 위하여 수혜부에 설치될 스캐폴드의 3차원 영상 이미지를 생성하는 단계;
    상기 스캐폴드의 3차원 영상 이미지를, 복수의 블록 이미지로 구분하는 단계; 및
    상기 스캐폴드의 3차원 영상 이미지를 3차원 프린터를 이용하여 출력하되, 상기 복수의 블록 이미지에 대응하는 3차원 객체가 서로 분리 가능하도록 출력하여 상기 스캐폴드를 제작하는 단계;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 블록형 스캐폴드 제작 방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 스캐폴드를 제작하는 단계는,
    생체 친화성 재질을 포함하는 3차원 프린터 출력용 스트립(Strip)을 이용하여 상기 스캐폴드를 제작하는 것을 특징으로 하는 블록형 스캐폴드 제작 방법.
  3. 제2항에 있어서,
    상기 스캐폴드를 제작하는 단계는,
    상기 복수의 블록 이미지에 대응하는 3차원 객체마다 상기 수혜부에 대응되는 세포 및 상기 세포의 성장인자가 포함되도록 상기 세포 및 상기 성장인자를 포함하는 상기 3차원 프린터 출력용 스트립을 이용하여 상기 스캐폴드를 제작하는 것을 특징으로 하는 블록형 스캐폴드 제작 방법.
  4. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 복수의 블록 이미지로 구분하는 단계는,
    상기 3차원 객체가 서로 분리 가능하되, 결합 시 서로 고정되도록 상기 3차원 객체마다 인접하는 3차원 객체와의 결합구조가 형성되도록 상기 복수의 블록 이미지를 형성하는 것을 것을 특징으로 하는 블록형 스캐폴드 제작 방법.
  5. 제4항에 있어서,
    상기 결합구조는 끼움 결합 구조인 것을 특징으로 하는 블록형 스캐폴드 제작 방법.
