Abstract
This invention is on movable elbow used for pipe assembly in installations like natural gas, water etc. Movable elbow (1), which is the subject-matter of the invention, contains one elbow body (2) with at least two openings, at least one movable part (3) that is placed on one opening at the end of elbow body (2), at least one safety ring (4) that provides the rotational motion of movable part (3) on elbow body (2), at least one external movable part (5) that moves on movable part (3), al least one fixing component (6) that fixes external movable part (5) on movable part (3), at least one sealing component (7) that provides seal between elbow body (2) and movable part (3), at least one internal part (8) that is placed in another opening of elbow body (2), at least one fitting component (9) that provides the motion of internal part (8) without getting out of elbow body (2), at least one internal fixing component (10) that fastens up internal part to elbow body (8) and internal sealing component (11) that provides seal between internal part (8) and elbow body (2).
Description
DESCRIPTION A MOVABLE ELBOW
Technical Field This invention is on movable elbow used for pipe assembly in installations like natural gas, LPG, CNG, water etc.
Previous Technique In the present time, elbow valves are used for the purpose of connection between cooker, combi boiler, counter and pipe in natural gas installations. As tension arising because of tightening process on elbow during connection cannot be eliminated, a safe installation cannot be performed. Also, the procedures Iial are performed for eliminating tension arising on pipe during installation causes prolonged assembly time.
The elbow valve is mentioned in the invention, which is the subject of TR200503058 numbered utility model registration. The subject-matter elbow valve is used in waler. natural gas, air and gas installations and provides 90° rotational motion of installation and at the same time can control the flow in the installation including ball valve on itself.
Pipe elbow manufactured from single part plate is mentioned in the invention, which is the subject of TR201201005 numbered utility model registration. Subject-matter pipe elbow is used in any field containing flue connection or elbow connection, especially in natural gas combi boilers and it contains a body manufactured from single part steel plate and at least one bending part to provide bending in a certain angle.

Short Description of the Invention
The objective oi' this invention is to achieve a movable elbow io provide easy, last and reliable assembly for natural gas pipes used in natural gas installations and cooker connections.
The other objective of the invention is to eliminate the tension occurring during assembly of pipes used in connections and to achieve a movable elbow to prevent important problems like gas leakage.
The other objective of the invention is to achieve a movable elbow lo provide labor and time savings and therefore keep the installation cost low.

In movable elbow (1) which is the subject-matter of the invention, elbow body (2j has two openings and is in form of L. In the movable elbow (1 ) which is the subject-matter of the i nvention, external movable part (5) is on the movable part (3) and it is fixed with fixing component ( 6 ). In the preferred application, there are two gaps on external movable part (5). is placed into another opening of elbow body (2), in which movable part (3) is not placed. Internal part (8) has a knurled structure in the preferred application. Nipple i s used as internal part (8) in the preferred application of the menti oned invention. In the movable elbow (1) which is the subject-matter of the invention, fitting component (9) provides rotational motion of internal part (8) in el bow body (2). In the preferred application of the invention, square retaining ri ng is used as fi tting component (9). In the movable elbow (1) which is the subject-matter of the invention, fixing component of internal part (10) provides fixation for internal pari (8) on elbow bod)' (2) and eliminates the adverse effects like jamming or dislocat ion. In the preferred application of the invention, a pin with flat ends is used as fixing component of internal part (10).
In the movable elbow (1 ) which is the subject-matter of the invention, sea l i ng component of internal part (1 1) provides seal between internal part (8) and elbow body (2). In the preferred application of the invention, o-ring is used as sealing component of internal part (1 1).
In movable elbow (1 ) which is the subject-matter of the invention, elbow body (2) is in form of L and both ends are open. Respectively, there are movable part (3) and external movable part (5) on one of opened ends of elbow body (2). E type circlip, which is used as safety ring (4), provides the rotational motion of movable part on elbow body (2). O ring, which is used as sealing component (7) between elbow body
(2) and movable part (3) and placed in the groove on elbow body (2), provides seal precisely and reliably. External movable part (5) provides locking on the movable part
(3) using fixing component (6). In the preferred application of the invention, two pieces of pins with one concave end are used for fixing external movable part (5) on movable part (3). Internal part (8) is placed in inner part of another opening of el ow
body (2). Fitting component (9) provides rotational motion of internal part (8) in el bow body (2). In the preferred application of the invention, square retaining ring is used as fitting component (9). In the movable elbow (1) which is the subject-matter of the invention, fixing component of internal part (10) is used to prevent moving in and out while allowing rotational motion of internal part (8) in elbow body (2). In the preferred application of the invention, two pieces of pins with flat end are used as fixing component of internal part (10). The seal between elbow body (2) and internal part (8) is precisely and reliably provided with o ring, which is used as sealing component of internal part (11).
In the preferred application of the invention, there are respectively stainless ferrule (Y), stainless hose (H), stainless wire mesh (T) and PVC (P) at the end of internal part (8) which stays outside of elbow body (2). Movable elbow (1) which is the subject-matter of the invention, has the feature of rotational motion of movable part (3) owing to safety ring (4), internal part (8) and fitting component (9), as a result, it completely removes the tension on the hose of installations like natural gas, water etc. Also, the invention reduces the faulty workmanship to the minimum level and provides reliable assembly. Movable elbow (1) which is the subject-matter of the invention is safer owing to fixing component (6) and internal fixing component (10) assembled on elbow body (2). Movable elbow ( 1 ) which is the subject-matter of the invention provides easy assembly with the feature of rotational motion. Claims
1. A movable elbow which contains;
- one elbow body (2) with at least two openings,
and is characterized with;
- at least one movable part (3) that is placed in one of openings at the end of elbow body (2),
- at least one safety ring (4) that provides the rotational motion of movable part (3) on elbow body (2),
at least one external movable part (5) that moves on movable part (3),
at least one fixing component (6) that fixes external movable part (5) on movable part (3), at least one sealing component (7) that provides seal between elbow body (2) and movable part (3),
- at least one internal part (8) that is placed in another opening of elbow body (2),
- at least one fitting component (9) that provides the movement of internal part (8) without getting out of elbow body (2),
- at least one internal fixing component (10) that fastens up internal part (8) to elbow body (2),
- internal sealing component (1 1) that provides seal between internal part (8) and elbow body (2).
2. A movable elbow (1) is characterized with elbow body (2) in form of L, as defined in the claim 1.
3. A movable elbow (1) is characterized with elbow body (2) on which movable part (3) is placed on the outer surface of one of the openings at the end, as defined in claim 1 or 2.
4. A movable elbow (1) is characterized with elbow body (2) containing grooves on which safety ring (4) and sealing component (7) are placed at the outside of the end where movable part (3) is present, as defined in either of the claims above.
5. A movable elbow (1) is characterized with elbow body (2) in another opening of which internal part (8) is placed, as defined in either of the claims above.
6. A movable elbow (1) is characterized with elbow body (2) containing grooves in the inner part of the opening in which internal part (8) and fitting component (9) and fixing component of internal part (11) are placed, as defined in either of the claims above.
7. A movable elbow (1 ) is characterized with movable part (3), which contains at least one another groove for the corresponding groove on elbow body (2), on which movable part (3) is fixed and safety ring (4) is placed, as safety ring (4) is present, as defined in either of the claims above.
8. A movable elbow (1) is characterized with movable part (3), which contains at least one another groove and provides fixation of external movable part (5) by setting up fixing component (6), as defined in either of the claims above.
9. A movable elbow (1) is characterized with safety ring (4), which is placed in the groove on elbow body (2) and prevents dislocation while allowing rotational motion of movable pai l (3), as defined in either of claim 4 or 8.
10. A movable elbow (1) is characterized with safety ring (4), which is e type circlip, as defined in either of the claims above.
11. A movable elbow (1) is characterized with external movable part (5), which is on movable part (3) and fixed with fixing component (6) on movable part (3), as defined in either of the claims above.
12. A movable elbow (1) is characterized with fixing component (6), which is a pin with one concave end, as defined in either of the claims above.
13. A movable elbow (1 ) is characterized with external movable part (3), which contains at least one gap in which fixing component (6) is inserted, as defined in either of the claims above.

15. A movable elbow (1) is characterized with internal part (8), which is placed in another opening where movable part (3) is not placed on elbow body (2), as defined in either of the claims above.
16. A movable elbow (1) is characterized with internal part (8) with knurled structure, as defined in either of the claims above.
17. A movable elbow (1) is characterized with nipple internal part (8), as defined in either of the claims above.
18. A movable elbow (1) is characterized with fitting component (9), which provides the rotational motion of internal part (8) in elbow body (2), as defined in either of the claims above.
19. A movable elbow (1) is characterized with fitting component (9), which is square retaining ring, as defined in either of the claims above.
20. A movable elbow (1 ) is characterized with fixing component of internal part (10), which provides fixation of internal part (8) on elbow body (2), as defined in either of the claims above.
21. A movable elbow (1) is characterized with fixing component of internal part (10), which is a pin with flat end, as defined in either of the claims above.
22. A movable elbow (1) is characterized with sealing component of internal part (1 1 ), which provides seal between internal part (8) and elbow body (2), as defined in either of the claims above.
23. A movable elbow (1) is characterized with sealing component of internal part, which is o- ring, as defined in either of the claims above.
