Abstract

The present invention relates to: an eraser using a natural starch composition and containing no plasticizers; and a manufacturing method therefor and, more specifically, to: a composition for an eraser containing no plasticizers, comprising 1-30 parts by weight of a moisturizer, 1-10 parts by weight of a viscosity controller and 10-40 parts by weight of an abrasive on the basis of 100 parts by weight of starch; an eraser, containing no plasticizers, to be manufactured by extrusion molding the composition for an eraser; and a manufacturing method therefor. According to the present invention, the eraser does not use polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and a phthalate, which have been used in a conventional eraser, so as to be nontoxic and harmless to the human body, thereby enabling children to use the eraser without worry, and is environmentally friendly since endocrine disruptors are not released therefrom and, simultaneously, has excellent letter erasing performance, thereby enabling the intrinsic function of an eraser to be sufficiently exhibited.
