Abstract
The invention relates to a single face paper transport box for fresh French fries in order to maintain them dry and crunchy for a long period of time. It consists of two sheets of paper suitable for foods which follow the existing legislation. The external paper sheet (1) is flat while the internal (2) is wavy and are glued together with glue suitable for foods. The invention provides a technical solution to maintain the fries to be transferred dry and crunchy for a long period of time. The internal paper sheet (2) due to the wavy form thereof has a large surface of absorption and oil and water vapor formed retention compared to the papers and paperboards of flat form.
Description
Single Face Paper Transport Box for Fresh French Fries
The invention relates to a paper box which is used to transport fresh French fries in order to maintain them dry and crunchy.
It is important for fast food customers, who receive food with the distribution at home method (delivery), that the French fries to be delivered should keep crunchy for as long as possible.
Until today several packages were used for storage and transport of fresh French fries which were trying to safely transfer their content or/and maintain temperature thereof constant for as long as possible.
Carton bags or boxes of primary paper (one or more sheets) with polyethylene coating, thermoplastic film, etc suitable for food (US 20050184141 , WO 2013067153, US 4861632, EP 2727727, GR 20040630, FR 2832695). During hot meal transport high amounts of water vapor are generated and in combination with the remaining oil result in food losing their crispiness, obtaining soft texture and give the sense of 'soggy'.
Similar results also have carton bags or boxes of primary paper (one or more sheets) with internal aluminum coating suitable for foods (GR 20040630).
Box of several layers of paper, one of which is in wavy form (US 20050184141 , WO 2009078824, EP 2727727, US 20060029771 , US 20040157014, GR 20040630, GR 2001932, FR 2764864, FR 2832695, JP 2003020066). In these cases, wavy paper consists of an intermediate rather than external addition in order to increase strength and insulating capacity.
The present invention relates to a single face paper transport box of fresh French fries in order to maintain them dry and crunchy. It consists of two sheets of paper which follow the existing legislation. The external paper sheet is flat (liner) while the internal one is wavy (flute) and are glued together with glue suitable for foods.
The invention provides a technical solution to maintain the fries to be transferred dry and crunchy for a long period of time. The internal paper sheet, of height of 1.0-3.0mm (millimeters), due to the wavy form thereof has a large surface of absorption and oil water vapor formed retention (about 30%) compared to the papers and paperboards of flat form. In addition, it absorbs larger amounts of fluids due to pockets formed.
While, the additional oil and vapor amounts that are not absorbed end up at the wavy paper formed grooves. As a result of the above, fries are not getting directly into contact with vapor and oil.
The invention is described below by the way of example and with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which:
Figure 1 and figure 2 are perspective views of the single face paper transport box for fresh French fries. At figure 1 the box is shown closed while at figure 2 the box is shown open where the formed grooves of the internal wavy paper are discernible.
Figure 3 illustrates the view of the formulation of the external flat paper sheet while at figure 4 the view of the formulation of the internal wavy paper sheet of the single face paper transport box for fresh French fries is illustrated.
Figure 5 and figure 6 are some views of the box which show the two sheets of paper from which the single face paper transport box for French fries is created. Distinguished are the flat paper sheet (1 ) and the wavy paper sheet (2) in which the grooves (3) and the pockets (4) are formed.
